The one thing that makes any night out perfect, in my opinion, is steak. A buttery, tender steak that’s been flame-grilled to a juicy perfection all the way to the center is probably one of my favorite things in the world. One of my favorite places to go for steak like that is Orlando, Florida.

Sure, the amusement parks like Universal Studios Resort and Walt Disney World are fun attractions in Orlando, but when I visit the City Beautiful, all I’m thinking about is a delicious steak paired with red wine. After many years of traveling there, I’ve narrowed down the absolute best steakhouses in Orlando and I want to share them with you right here. Below, you’ll find the complete guide to Olando’s steakhouse scene. You’ll find everything from Italian chophouses to Brazilian steakhouses serving rodizio-style to your table. They’ve got all the thick, juicy cuts of steak you could ever want, so go ahead and check them out!

Taking the number-one spot on my list is none other than Christner’s Prime Steak & Lobster. This place is a non-negotiable, must-visit establishment when you want the best steak in Orlando. They’re located off of the big bend on Lee Road right in between The Home Depot and Motel 6 Orlando, just off of US 4 highway. When you come to Christner’s, prepare to be amazed. They have all different cuts of steak from New York strips to porterhouses and ribeyes. Some of the cuts are even dry-aged for extra tenderness. This is also one of my favorite places to go for a delightful beef wellington which I don’t see on menus very often.

This next place is conveniently located right in the heart of some of the action. Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse is right across the street from Pointe Orlando shopping mall where you’ll find some other fun attractions like Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando and the fascinating WonderWorks Orlando. Del Frisco’s is a fine-dining restaurant with amazing steak that I can never get enough of, not to mention their enormous wine selection. This is one of my favorite steakhouses in Orlando because you have the option to get many cuts with the bone in. Some of the menu items I recommend from Del Frisco’s are the bone-in prime ribeye or the wagyu tomahawk ribeye.

This next place is called Kres Chophouse and they’re located over by Lake Eola Park, right across the street from the CMX Cinema Plaza Cafe 12 (formerly known as Cobb Theatres). It’s the perfect location for an extravagant steak dinner after relaxing at the park or when you’re going to a movie. Kres Chophouse goes all-out in a way that any carnivore can appreciate. All their steaks are aged in-house and cut by hand. Some of their more interesting menu items include a cut of elk from Mountain River Ranch in New Zealand and porterhouse lamb loins from Marcho Farms, USA.
Linda’s La Cantina Steak House

Linda’s La Cantina Steak House is an Orlando fixture that’s been serving delicious steaks to the community since 1947, so I think it’s safe to say they know a thing or two. They serve both a small and large size filet mignon here at Linda’s La Cantina Steak House, but my favorite cut is the New York strip which comes in either a 14-ounce cut or a thicker 18-ounce cut for their extra-hungry guests like me. Check out Linda’s La Cantina off of East Colonial Drive, right across from the Orlando Executive Airport and just before the Fashion Square Mall in Colonial Town Center.

Charley’s Steak House is a name that we all know and love across the country. You can find this classic steakhouse at their Orlando location in ICON Park alongside SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and The Wheel at ICON Park. Charley’s serves delectable cuts of meat that have been dry-aged for 21 days, each one graded USDA Prime. They also offer slightly more exotic cuts like a Blue Creek bison ribeye or even a 100% Black Angus bone-in ribeye. Of course, no steak dinner is complete without the sweet, buttery tail of lobster on the side. Or maybe you’d like to top it off with some truffle butter? No matter, Charley’s has you covered.

This next place is called Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse and, as their name suggests, they specialize in providing a unique steakhouse experience called rodizio where steak will be brought to you and carved tableside in an all-you-can-eat fashion. This is the place to go in Orlando when you are hungrier than you’ve ever been. They will just keep bringing you delicious, flame-grilled cuts of meat on massive skewers until you just can’t eat any more. Look for Rodizio Grill inside Pointe Orlando off of International Drive next to Maggiano’s Little Italy and Taverna Opa Orlando.
A Land Remembered

This next place is called A Land Remembered and it’s a Florida-inspired, high-end steakhouse that you can find inside Rosen Shingle Creek hotel, right off of Universal Boulevard. It’s easily one of the best steakhouses in Orlando, if you ask me. Not only are they serving up the highest quality steaks and seafood, but they are located inside of one of the nicest hotels in Orlando that even has its own sprawling, luxury golf course. I always start with their jumbo lump crab cakes to start with here at A Land Remembered. It’s a great way to get things going. After that I recommend their American wagyu flat iron steak with a glass of cabernet sauvignon or pinot noir.

I rarely write up a steakhouse article without mentioning Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. They’re like that ubiquitous presence of delicious steak and wine in every major city. You’ve got your classic cuts and your specialty cuts here at Fleming’s, depending on how much you want to splurge that night. I always recommend the bone-in filet from the classic cuts menu, but if you’re sparing no expense, then go for the Prime tomahawk steak from the specialty cuts menu. Check out Fleming’s over off of Via Dellagio Way inside the Dellagio Town Center shopping mall. It’s the perfect stop after a long shopping spree.
THE PALM
5800 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819
Phone: 407-503-7256

The Palm is a swanky, multi-level steakhouse that will quickly take its place close to your heart. They’re located inside the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, probably the best place to stay in the city for fun and food, in my opinion. This is one of Orlando’s best steakhouses to visit for USDA Prime steak. They allow each one of their cuts to age for a minimum of 35 days, allowing all the moisture to evaporate, ensuring a crispy sear on the outside and tenderness on the inside. They serve the ultimate cut of steak here at The Palm. You can order a 48-ounce USDA Prime porterhouse cut, the king of steaks. It says it’s for 2-3 people, but I believe one person could do it if they put their mind to it.

Next up is a name that everyone should be very familiar with, LongHorn Steakhouse, an American classic. You can find LongHorn everywhere around the country, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still a great place to eat steak. The best thing on their menu, if you ask me, is their fire-grilled T-bone steak. With this, you get the best of both worlds, a delicious New York Strip and a tender filet, both still on the bone. You can check out this LongHorn off of International Drive, right by The Escape Game Orlando and the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive.

This next place is called Cafe Mineiro Brazilian Steakhouse and it’s located over off of International Drive, right across the street from some great places to stay in Orlando, Florida like Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center and the Rosen Inn. What I love about this place is that they offer ste-price rodizio meals with 12 different cuts of meat that will be carved and served to your tableside. Cafe Mineiro is really one of the best food deals you can find in the city because they also have a buffet option as well!
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Up next, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is a mountain lodge-style restaurant that will make you feel like you’re dining somewhere in the hills of the Rocky Mountains. As far as steak goes, they age their higher-quality cuts for 21 days, and the best part is that you can even order them for curbside pickup to cook at your leisure at home. If you’re going to dine in, however, I highly recommend their aged ribeye or the pepper-crusted sirloin. Check out Firebirds Wood Fired Grill off of North Mills Avenue in the same plaza as The Fresh Market, just south of the Orlando Science Center.

This next place, BoiBrazil Churrascaria is located inside the International Shoppes off of International Drive, less than a mile south of Fun Spot America Theme Parks. It’s a great place to go after a day full of fun and rides. For a set price, the buffet will be brought to you, in a sense, and you’ll be treated to the traditional Brazilian steakhouse experience of insane amounts of grilled meats carved right onto your plate from a giant skewer. They also have a massive salad bar as well if you’re feeling a bit on the healthier side. I actually love a good salad on the side when I’m chowing down on a huge juicy steak.
Shula’s Steakhouse

Shula’s is another famous name in the steak world, and this one is even better because of where it’s located. This particular Shula’s is located inside the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort inside the world-famous Epcot theme park. You can drink around the world and then get your hands on a tender, grilled steak to go with all those drinks! They’ve got about 9 different cuts of steak to choose from here at Shula’s, each one more delicious than the last. Some of my favorites are the 20-ounce Kansas City Strip and their 22-ounce cowboy ribeye, but the prime rib is always tough to pass on as well.
Saltgrass Steak House

Last, but certainly not least, is a place called Saltgrass Steak House and they’re located over off of International Drive which, as you can tell, is a real hotspot for the best steak restaurants in Orlando. This standalone, Texas-themed steakhouse is where to get steak in Orlando if you’re looking for that classic old-western feel. It almost makes me feel like a cowboy when I stop in here for dinner. I always recommend their gulf coast steak and shrimp meal. You get a beautiful center-cut top sirloin steak topped with grilled or fried shrimp for the ultimate surf n’ turf experience.
