21 Top Places to Eat Around EPCOT

Disney World is one of the top vacation destinations, not just in America, but in all of the world! Of course, a huge reason for that is the Epcot theme park.

Since opening in 1982, Epcot has been a picture of some of the best Disney has to offer. One half of the park has pavilions focused on the future and technology.

There are a couple of great spots in that area that we’ll talk through, but the best food in Epcot and all of Disney World is at Epcot’s World Showcase.

The World Showcase houses 11 pavilions for Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Each pavilion hosts attractions showcasing the best of each nation, which definitely includes restaurants.

We start our Epcot tour at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. This charming spot is located in the heart of the France pavilion and offers a French bakery experience that will make you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Paris! It’s also one of the more affordable meals in all of Epcot.

The pain au chocolat is a chocolate-filled croissant, and a great treat no matter what time of day. Les Halles also offers amazing sandwiches like the jambon buerre (ham and cheese with honey mustard butter on a fresh baguette). Top it off with a cappuccino, and enjoy your day!

Sunshine Seasons

You might think that all theme park food courts offer bad renditions of fare like hot dogs and burgers. But that just means that you haven’t visited Sunshine Seasons, located on the ground floor of The Land pavilion.

The Land focuses on nature and the planet, and that comes through in Sunshine Seasons’ fresh, seasonal offerings.

Sunshine Seasons boasts a wood grill, which is great for dishes like the oak-grilled rotisserie chicken, served with sides of black beans and yellow rice.

The vegetable korma is also an excellent vegetarian option! So for a good meal that won’t leave you feeling heavy, try out Sunshine Seasons.

Biergarten Restaurant

If you like your meal to be about the experience as much as the food, you might just love Biergarten Restaurant.

Biergarten offers family-style Bavarian food and giant steins of beer to hungry diners at the Germany pavilion. The dining room is decked out for Oktoberfest and includes live German music.

Biergarten offers a buffet of treats, including several sausages, rotisserie chicken, salads, sauerkraut, potatoes, and schnitzel among other things!

There is also a variety of desserts. As if that wasn’t enough, Biergarten also serves many different varieties of beer in huge glasses. It’s truly a party!

Rose & Crown Dining Room

1510 N Ave of the Stars, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

The Rose & Crown Dining Room, in the United Kingdom pavilion, offers Epcot’s take on the classic pub experience. Pull up to the bar, get an expertly-poured pint and some great food. Add in a waterfront dining experience overlooking all of Epcot, and you’re in for a great time.

Rose & Crown’s signature dish is their fish and chips. A beer-battered fish filet gets perfectly fried until golden brown, then served alongside a side of crispy, addictive fries.

The bangers and mash is another traditional British treat. Creamy potatoes get covered with a thick, plump sausage before being smothered in a mushroom-based brown sauce.

Do you like the idea of pub dining at the Rose & Crown but don’t want to spend the time with a full sit-down meal?

Then the Yorkshire County Fish Shop, right next door to the Rose & Crown, will be right up your alley. Of course, t’s less a fish shop than a to-go window, but you’ll still get a great meal.

The menu at Yorkshire County is very straightforward: signature fish and chips, drinks, and beer. Pretty simple, right? The fish and chips actually works perfectly as a to-go dish and is a great treat to keep you going through the rest of your Epcot day.

Via Napoli Restorante e Pizzeria

1510 Avenue of the Stars, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277

Go to the Italy pavilion for one of the best meals you’ll get anywhere at Via Napoli. Via Napoli serves authentic Italian meals in a relaxed setting.

This is one of the restaurants in Epcot that consistently gets rated one of the best in Disney World, so it’s definitely worth a visit.

The star at Via Napoli is the wood-burning oven, which churns out fantastic pizzas all day long. My personal favorite is the prosciutto e melone.

This is a white pizza, so no tomato sauce. Instead, it comes with fontina and mozzarella cheeses, alongside prosciutto, cantaloupe, and arugula. It’s sweet, smoky, and complex. A must-try!

Spice Road Table

200 Epcot Center Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

Inspired by outdoor cafes in the heart of Morocco, Spice Road Table is a great place for lunch or dinner in Epcot. This Morocco pavilion staple specializes in small plates served in a breathtaking atmosphere.

The small plates menu allows you to try lots of different dishes. You will absolutely want to get the dolmas. They’re grape leaves stuffed with rice, herbs, marinated olives, and charred lemon.

The grilled lamb kefka is another great shareable. Spice Road Table also has a great menu of wines, sangrias, and cocktails. They’re a great match for the meal.

Tokyo Dining

200 Epcot Center Dr, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

Tokyo Dining is in the Japan pavilion and is an excellent example of modern Japanese dining. The dining room is dark, sleek, and sophisticated. It’s a terrific surrounding to have some expertly prepared Japanese cuisine.

I always get a sushi hand roll when I visit, and the Spicy Crunchy Roll (with tuna, salmon, and a spicy sauce) is my favorite! Past that, I recommend getting some tempura from the table.

You’ll get a variety of seafood and vegetables fried until crispy and then served with a sweet and savory dipping sauce. Finally, the yuzu mousse cake is an excellent dessert.

Le Cellier Steakhouse

1510 N Avenue, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

In the Canada pavilion, Le Cellier Steakhouse is one of the signature dining destinations in all of not just Epcot, but Disney World.

Le Cellier offers spectacular steak, seafood, and Canadian cuisine in a dining room that feels like the basement of a chateau. Stone arches, dim lighting, and tons of wood make dining at Le Cellier an unbelievable experience.

You absolutely must try the Canadian cheddar cheese soup, no matter what else you get. Made with a Canadian beer, this soup is warm, gooey, and fantastic, even before you add the thick-cut bacon that sits on top.

Liberty Tree Tavern

4600 World Dr, Orlando, FL 32836
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

The American Adventure is Epcot’s United States pavilion. The pavilion themes toward the birth of America and more colonial times, which makes The Liberty Tree Tavern a great fit.

Enjoy traditional New England cuisine in a dining room that feels like a 1700s meeting house. Liberty Tree Tavern offers an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal centered around Thanksgiving.

The Patriot’s Platter is your choice of turkey breast, pot roast, and oven-roasted pork, along with heaping sides of mashed potatoes, vegetables, herb stuffing, and macaroni and cheese. If you have any room for dessert after that feast, the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake is wonderful.

Teppan Edo

1780 Avenue of the Stars, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277

Teppanyaki-style dining is a Japanese tradition where chefs chop and cook your food right in front of you on enormous grills. It’s part meal and part entertainment.

Teppan Edo, in Japan’s Epcot pavilion, is a great way to enjoy that experience! Expertly-cut sushi is a great appetizer, but you definitely will want to get one of the entrees, such as filet mignon or salmon.

Your chef will chop and prepare your entree and sides right in front of you with a ton of flair. Seeing your food made makes the meal that much better. A sake or cocktail completes the show.

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

1510 N Ave of the Stars, Orlando, FL 32830

One of the great things about Epcot is that you can interact with different cultures and different cuisines that you might not usually get to try. That’s definitely the case in the Norway pavilion at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.

There aren’t a lot of places to get Norwegian food in most areas, and Kringla is a terrific way to try out Norwegian treats and desserts. The school bread is the best-known item at Kringla.

It is a sweet roll filled with a creamy custard and dipped in coconut. The tastes and textures are incredible. Try to resist coming back for more!

Tangierine Café

1510 N Ave of the Stars, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

The Morocco pavilion features one of the best quick-service meals in Epcot at Tangierine Café. Tangierine Café offers fast service, but the food is worlds better than your usual fast food joint, with traditional Moroccan cuisine being the menu’s center.

The menu at Tangierine Café is pretty straightforward. You can get grilled chicken, lamb, and beef kebabs with sides of couscous and a tomato-onion salad.

You can also get stone-baked bread with hummus, zaalouk, and zhoug dips. The focused menu means that everything gets executed to perfection, and both dishes are complex enough to warrant many return trips.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue

1510 N Ave of the Stars, Orlando, FL 3283

Two things that help define American dining are craft beer and barbecue. Regal Eagle Smokehouse, located in The American Adventure, is Disney’s attempt at perfecting both those things.

Spoiler alert: they do a great job! The burgers and sandwiches are great, but I find myself coming back to the dry-rub pork ribs. These are slow-smoked to juicy tenderness.

They come with garlic toast and your choice of side. My favorite side is the baked beans with burnt ends. Burnt ends are the crispy bits on the end of a barbecue and they add great flavor and crunch to the sweet beans.

Chefs de France

1830 Avenue of the Stars, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

Foodies around the world often say that French cuisine is the best around. If you want to try French food out in an accessible, family-friendly brasserie setting, get over to the France pavilion and sit down at Chefs de France.

The French Onion Soup is perfect, with onions stewed in a beef broth before being covered with a toasty slice of bread and melted Gruyere cheese.

Chefs de France also serves a ratatouille dish, which looks a lot like what you might have seen in the Pixar film Ratatouille! The good news is that it tastes even better than it looks.

San Angel Inn Restaurante

2101 Epcot Resorts Blvd, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277

The entire Mexico pavilion at Epcot sits inside a Mexican pyramid, and that’s where you’ll find San Angel Inn Restaurante.

Diners will get to enjoy their meal in an evening setting, surrounded by realistic-looking Mayan ruins and watching riders from the Mexico-themed boat ride that also is in the pavilion.

The Tacos de Ribeye are excellent for everyone. Thinly-sliced ribeye comes inside fresh corn tortillas with poblano peppers, red onions, bacon, and Monterey jack cheese.

On the side, you’ll get plantains and cotija cheese. San Angel also has a fantastic selection of cocktails and margaritas to enjoy.

Coral Reef Restaurant

1520 Avenue of the Stars, Orlando, FL 32836
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

We head to the other side of Epcot for our next stop. The Seas pavilion hosts one of the largest aquariums in the world, and guests at the Coral Reef Restaurant will find themselves surrounded by more than 2,000 sea creatures in this spectacular dining room. It’s an experience you won’t find anywhere else.

If you can get over the idea of eating seafood while sea life is all around you, the shrimp and grits is a great dinner option. Sauteed shrimp get surrounded by cheesy grits, corn succotash, andouille sausage, and a Creole spice emulsion. It’s an absolute delight!

La Haceinda de San Angel

Walt Disney World Resort, 2101 Epcot Resorts Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

La Hacienda de San Angel is one of the newer restaurants in Epcot. Open at the Mexico pavilion in the World Showcase, La Hacienda focuses on old-world feel and charm. The dining room looks out on Epcot’s lagoon and is a perfect spot to watch the nightly fireworks.

The queso fundido is a winner. Diners will enjoy this mix of melted cheese, chorizo, peppers, and onions, with fresh flour tortillas on the side for dipping.

I’m also a massive fan of the pescado del dia. This dish is a seared snapper served with a smoky green mole, gratin potatoes, and roasted asparagus.

La Cava del Tequila

200 Epcot Center Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
Visit Website

We’ll stay at the Mexico pavilion for one of the most beloved experiences in all of Epcot, La Cava del Tequila. La Cava is home to more than 200 tequilas, along with a selection of beer and wine.

You’ll have a blast trying some of the best tequilas around alongside guacamole and chips. La Cava offers amazing tequila flights, which are great to try out sips of some proper top-shelf selections.

This lounge also has superb original cocktails. For example, The Wild One is a mixture of blanco tequila, mango-passion fruit puree, chile liquor, fresh lime juice, applejack, and ginger cordial.

Nine Dragons Restaurant

1510 Epcot Resorts Blvd, Orlando, FL 32830
Phone: 407-939-5277
Visit Website

Nine Dragons Restaurant is one of the key attractions at Epcot’s China pavilion. Nine Dragons offers a selection of dishes from across the spectrum of Chinese cuisine, including Cantonese, Mongolian, Szechuan, Hunan, and Kiangche. Request a window-side table to get amazing views of all of Epcot!

The crispy duck bao buns are a good start for the table. These steamed buns are light and fluffy, while the duck inside is well-seasoned and crisp.

All of the entrees are special, but the spicy honey crispy chicken is my favorite. The combination of sweet and heat is sublime!

Hops and Barley

Epcot Center Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

You won’t find Hops and Barley open all the time. But, if you happen to be at Epcot in the autumn during the annual Food and Wine Festival (and you really owe it to yourself to go then!), head to the American Adventure for this beer-forward booth.

Hops and Barley offers some rotating craft beers and ciders from across the country, including many that you won’t find anywhere else on Disney property.

The booth also has some food that pairs perfectly with your beer. The menu rotates every year, but expect to find a couple of finger sandwiches along with a dessert option.
