Pizzeria Del-Dio Italian Restaurant

First up on my list of Orlando pizza spots to try is a place called Pizzeria Del-Dio Italian Restaurant. They’re located off of East Colonial Drive in the Colonial Town Center neighborhood, right across the street from the Fashion Square Mall. It’s perfect for grabbing a slice of pizza after a day of shopping. They serve NY style pizza here as well as other classic Italian dishes that you’ll love. They have lots of specialty pies to choose from, but you can also build your own pizza so that everything is exactly perfect. Most of the time, I just like a classic pepperoni pizza, but sometimes I’ll switch it up with a margherita pizza.

Pizza Bruno

3990 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL 32806
Phone: 407-270-6833
Visit Website

Pizza Bruno is one of the all-time greatest pizza restaurants in Orlando, FL and they’ve made my lists before, so you already know they have great food. Their pizza is on another level, though. They serve the classic Neapolitan style pizza here, the one that started it all. Their wood fired pizza has that unbeatable flavor that just transports you all the way to Napoli where your taste buds will want to stay forever. Check out Pizza Bruno off of Curry Ford Road near the Dover Shores West neighborhood, just west of the intersection at South Conway Boulevard, tucked away in the quiet part of town.

Brick & Fire Pizza

1621 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32806

Next up is Brick & Fire Pizza and they really never disappoint when it comes to delicious pizza. They have countless house pizzas to choose from that include everything from old school favorites like plain cheese pizza all the way to more modern pies like buffalo chicken pizza. They also have a long list of specialty pizzas that you won’t find anywhere else. My favorite specialty pizza that makes me break away from my usual pepperoni pizza is “The Angry Shrimp”, I highly recommend it. Look for Brick & Fire Pizza off of South Orange Avenue in the South Orange neighborhood, right across the street from Lake Beauty and the Orlando Health Pulse Memorial Paver Garden.

Giordano’s

6203 W Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL 32819
Phone: 407-377-0022
Visit Website

This next place, Giordano’s, is one of my absolute favorite pizza restaurants in Orlando because they’re located near some great places to stay like Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal Blvd and the Rosen Inn International. They’re also conveniently situated between theme parks like Universal’s Volcano Bay and ICON Park. It’s a great place to eat with the whole family. What I recommend from Giordano’s is their signature deep dish pizza. They have so many different options for toppings that it blew my mind the first time I went here. My favorite pizza to order from Giordano’s is a deep dish Chicago Classic.

Antonella’s Pizzeria

360 W Fairbanks Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789
Phone: 407-960-2160
Visit Website

This next place is just a mile and a half outside of the Orlando city limits in Winter Park, just north of the Mead Botanical Gardens, off of West Fairbanks Avenue, but any true pizza lover knows that distance means nothing when it comes to getting the best pizza. Not only do they have incredible pizza here at Antonella’s, but their stromboli and calzones are out of this world. Sometimes it’s really hard for me to choose which one I want. They serve pizza by the slice and by the pie here, and you can also choose the option to build your own pizza, allowing you to select from a very long list of toppings.

Lazy Moon

11551 University Blvd, Orlando, FL 32817
Phone: 407-412-6222
Visit Website

Lazy Moon is the college student’s preferred choice thanks to their location just east of the University of Central Florida’s campus off of University Boulevard. They stay open late and have an amazing selection of microbrews, not to mention their bocce league. What more could you want from a pizza place? My favorite part about Lazy Moon is the fact that you can order a gargantuan 30-inch pizza, perfect for a game day snack. They also have some sweet combos like my personal favorite, the Boxcar Willy. It consists of a slice of pizza and a pint of Pabst Blue Ribbon⸺absolute perfection.

Piazza Italia

Phone: 407-413-5200
Visit Website

Next up is Piazza Italia, and I think you’re going to love this one just as much as I do. These brick oven, wood fired pizzas are unbeatable and inexpensive. What makes the pies here at Piazza Italia so amazing, I think, is the fact that they import many different cheeses straight from Italy, as well as some other ingredients like ham and prosciutto, for a truly authentic taste. Check out Piazza Italia off of Lake Nona Village Place over in Southeast Orlando, just east of the Orlando International Airport. It’s the perfect place to grab some pizza after a long plane ride in.

Gitto’s Pizza

120 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801
Phone: 407-203-8889
Visit Website

Right across from what used to be Cobb Theatres, the CMX Cinemas Plaza Cafe, is a place called Glitto’s Pizza that you should try the next time you find yourself in Downtown Orlando. This is one of Orlando’s best pizza places, if you ask me, because it’s small, cozy and they stay open until 3:00 AM. It’s the perfect spot to grab a slice of pizza late at night after all the Downtown Orlando bars close up shop. They serve pizza, wings, stromboli, calzones, and basically anything else you can think of that you might want after a night of drinking, but what really takes it away is their pizza. You can get both classic New York style or even a square Sicilian style pizza with thick crust.

Tartini Pizzeria & Spaghetteria is another one of the greatest pizza places Orlando has to offer and you can find them right off of South Orange Avenue, just north of The Woodshed Orlando community event center. What sets Tartini apart from some of the other pizza places is that they have so many different types of wood fired pizza to choose from. Right across from Bishop Moore Catholic School and just north of Dubsdread Golf Course in Fairview Shores is a place called Tornatore’s Pizzeria where you can get some of the tastiest pizza in Orlando, Florida. Tornatore’s is a cozy pizza parlor that serves delicious pizza in addition to pasta, wings, and even other Italian favorites like chicken parmesan. No matter what you’re looking for, this is a great place to eat. I am a huge fan of their classic pepperoni pizza, of course, but I usually start off with some mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce, or maybe a caesar salad.

This next place is called Pizza@LakeEola and they’re located in Downtown Orlando off of East Central Boulevard, just east of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Downtown and only a few minutes walking distance to Lake Eola Park. It’s in a very central location, surrounded by fun Orlando attractions. They have wildly unique and flavorful pizzas here to choose from, including my personal favorite, the Beach Bum. This pizza comes topped with cheese, mushrooms, shrimp, meatballs, and mango habanero. It’s a fiery pizza that you’ll love if you enjoy spicy foods. They also have plenty of non-spicy pizza variations, as well.

This next place, Mia’s Italian Kitchen, is located off of International Drive in southwest Orlando, right near some amazing family fun attractions like ICON Park, Seaworld Orlando, and Universal’s Islands of Adventure which are all just minutes away. The brick oven pan pizza here at Mia’s Italian Kitchen is second to none. I absolutely love to come here after a day at the amusement parks close by. One thing I highly recommend from Mia’s is the diavola pizza which comes with hot sopressata and calabrese chiles for a fiery hot pizza that I really think any spicy food lover will enjoy.

Bronx Pizza

4530 Hoffner Ave, Orlando, FL 32812
Phone: 407-764-9100
Visit Website

Bronx pizza serves up some of that thin, crispy crust pizza that we all know and love. If you want that amazing New York style pizza that you can fold up and eat without it flopping over, then this is the place you need to be. My favorite thing to order from Bronx Pizza is their Mexican pizza. It’s actually one of the few places I know of that even offers a Mexican pizza on their menu, and it’s absolutely delicious. Check out Bronx Pizza in the Conway neighborhood, right off of Hoffner Avenue and across the street from the Publix Supermarket at Conway Crossing.

Next up is Muzzarella Pizza & Italian Kitchen, home to some of the best pizza in Orlando. You can find this place over off of Lake Underhill Road in the eastern part of the city. I love this place and I think you will too. They have amazing deals on pizza so you can get exactly what you want without breaking the bank. Small 10-inch pizzas start at only $7.99 and a large 18-inch starts as low as $15.99. I really love their specialty pizzas, though. My favorite has to be the Firenze pizza which comes with chicken, red onions, and roasted peppers on top.

Metro Espresso Pizza Cafe

417 E Central Blvd, Orlando, FL 32801

Metro Espresso Pizza Cafe is another Downtown Orlando favorite of mine that I recommend to just about anybody on the lookout for good pizza in Orlando. You can find Metro Espresso Pizza Cafe off of East Central Boulevard in the Central Business District right next to Lake Eola and just a couple minutes walk from Lake Eola Park. My recommendation for Metro Espresso Pizza Cafe is one of their specialty pizzas like the BBQ chicken pizza or maybe even the Hawaiian if you like pineapple on your pizza. Probably my favorite has to be the chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza. It really blew my mind the first time I ordered it.

1803 Pizza / Kitchen

1803 E Winter Park Rd, Orlando, FL 32803
Phone: 407-647-3872
Visit Website

1803 Pizza/Kitchen is a classic pizza restaurant that you can find over off of East Winter Park Road across from the Audubon Park K-8 School, just east of the Harry P Leu Gardens. What I love about 1803 Pizza/Kitchen is the atmosphere and, of course, the pizza. My absolute favorite pizza is the prosciutto arugula burrata pizza. You won’t find one like it in many other pizza shops, so I always head here when I’m craving it. They also offer salads and other appetizing dishes if you’re not in the mood for pizza, but pizza is obviously what they do best here at 1803 Pizza/Kitchen.

Planet Pizza

Last, but definitely not least, is a place called Planet Pizza that’s located off of West Washington Street, just a block away from the Orange County Regional History Center and a short walk from Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando. This is one of the best pizza places in Orlando, so don’t hesitate to come here when you’re in the area. Planet Pizza is a family owned restaurant that’s been a fixture of Downtown Orlando for a long time and it’s easy to see why when their pizza is this delicious. My favorite pizza to order is the bianca pepperoni pizza.
