Where to Get Mouth-Watering Italian Food in Orlando

Italian is some of the most diverse and delicious cuisines in the world. From pasta to ravioli, chicken marsala, and fettuccini alfredo, there is something for everyone to love.

Authentic Italian food might be my absolute favorite. Thankfully, Italian food is also one of the most widely available cuisines.

I recently spent some time in Orlando, Florida, and I was on an Italian food kick. I spent time visiting and trying the best Italian restaurants I could find. The results are below.

I promise that these restaurants will satisfy your craving for delicious Italian food. These are the best Italian restaurants in Orlando, without a doubt.


Christinis Ristorante Italiano

You can find Christinis Ristorante Italiano in the Dr. Phillips shopping center just off W Sand Lake Road.

Christinis is the definition of high-class dining and is one of the most excellent restaurants in Orlando.

It is a great spot to enjoy outstanding Italian food or take a date you want to impress. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which tasted like it was made in Italy.

The chicken was tender, and the sauce was flavorful. I also ordered a side of their famous garlic mashed potatoes.

They were some of the best I’ve ever had. It can get quite busy, so I recommend getting a reservation in advance.


IL Pescatore

You can find IL Pescatore on Primrose Drive just off E Colonial Dr near the Colonial Town Center. IL Pescatore is a more relaxed and laidback Italian restaurant.

You feel like you are in an Italian grandma’s house, and the food tastes like it too. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, and it was delicious.

I would order this dish again. I also ordered a side of the garlic bread which was incredible. It was some of the best garlic bread I’ve ever had.

If you are looking for a more relaxed and casual Italian dining experience, IL Pescatore is perfect. They also cater if you want to have Italian food at your next event.


La Luce

If you are golfing at the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, I recommend stopping at La Luce for a bit to eat. La Luce is in the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.

It is a fusion of classic Italian food, Napa ingredients, and wine. The specialty is thin-crust pizzas and homemade pasta. La Luce also has an outstanding wine selection.

I ordered the Margherita pizza, and it was fantastic. The crust was thin and crispy, and the sauce was flavorful. I also ordered spaghetti and meatballs.

The meatballs were some of the best I’ve ever had. Ask the server for a wine pairing. You won’t be disappointed.


Prato

You will find Prato just outside Central Park in Winter Park, Florida. It’s the perfect place to stop for a bit to eat after a pleasant stroll through the park.

Prato combines classic Italian ingredients with modern cooking techniques and seasonal ingredients. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and it was fantastic.

I also ordered a side of the roasted Brussels sprouts. They were some of the best I’ve ever had. If you are looking for a unique Italian dining experience and some great cocktails, Prato is the spot for you.

Vincenzo Cucina Italiana is the winner of multiple awards in Orlando, and it is worth the drive to visit this outstanding restaurant.

Vincenzo Cucina Italiana has humble digs and emphasizes quality food. The menu features various options, from cured meats and cheese to house-made pasta.

They extensively use ingredients imported from Italy. I ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer, and it was phenomenal.

The bread was crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I also ordered the chicken parmigiana, and it tasted like it was made in Italy.

The chicken was tender. The sauce was tasty. I would go back to Vincenzo Cucina in a heartbeat.


Adriatico Trattoria Italiana

You can find Adriatico Trattoria Italiana in the College Park neighborhood of Orlando. This fine restaurant brings old-world cuisine and the freshest ingredients to your plate.

Adriatico’s menu features classic Italian dishes with a modern twist. The pasta is all made fresh in-house daily.

I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and it was delicious. I also ordered a side of the burrata. It was some of the best I’ve ever had.

If you are craving an authentic Italian pizza, head to Antonio’s House of Pizza on Conroy Road in Kirkman South.

Antonio’s makes their pizza and sauce fresh daily, and you can taste the difference.

I ordered the pepperoni pizza, and it was outstanding.

The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was flavorful, and the cheese perfect. I also ordered an Italian sausage sandwich, and it was delicious.

The bread was fresh, and the sausage was terrific. If you want a great pizza, Antonio’s is the spot.


Enzo’s on the Lake

Enzo’s has been one of the best Italian restaurants in Orlando since it opened in 1980. Forty years later, Enzo’s still serves up some of the best Italian food in the US.

You can find Enzo’s off Highway 17 east of Lake Fairy. The location right on the lake makes Enzo’s a great date night spot.

I ordered the Petti di Pollo al Forno. The herb-roasted chicken breast is served with white wine and lemon sauce which was divine.

The rosemary potatoes and broccolini rounded out the meal perfectly. If you want to impress a date, bring them to Enzos on the lake.


Mama Della’s Ristorante

You can find Mama Della’s Ristorante in the Windhover neighborhood of Orlando. Mama Della’s feels like you have been transported back to old-world Italy.

The outstanding food and the singers that walk around the room serenading you add the perfect touch. I ordered the Tiramisu for dessert, which was out of this world.

The espresso-soaked ladyfingers were layered with mascarpone cream and dusted with cocoa powder. It was the perfect way to end my meal.

You can find Trevi Pasta on the corner of Princeton Street and Edgewater Drive in North Orlando. If you are craving pasta, Trevi Pasta is the place to be.

They serve up the best fresh pasta in Orlando. I ordered the Ravioli di Pollo e Funghi, and it was outstanding.

The ravioli were filled with chicken and mushrooms and served in a creamy tomato sauce. I also ordered a side of their garlic bread. It was divine. If you want fresh, delicious pasta, visit Trevi Pasta.

If you are in Williamsburg golfing at the Ritz-Carlton, I highly recommend stopping by Cala Bella Shingle Creek.

Cala Bella serves up the best food from Tuscany, and they have one of the best wine cellars in Orlando.

I ordered the Costolette d’Agnello Alla Griglia, grilled lamb chops with potato gnocchi and asparagus. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, and the gnocchi was delicious.

I finished my meal with a glass of their white wine, and I was not disappointed. If you want a great glass of wine, Cala Bella Shingle Creek is your spot.


Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse

If you are down in Williamsburg and are craving a night steak with some Italian food, I recommend stopping by Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse.

In addition to serving up outstanding Italian food, Delmonico’s also serves up some of the best steaks in Orlando.

I had the Delmonico Steak and was blown away. It was the best steak I had ever had. I somehow managed to finish it despite its large size. I cannot recommend Delmonico’s highly enough.

If you find yourself in the Sand Lake neighborhood of Orlando, I highly recommend stopping by the Fiorenzo.

The team at Fiorenzo is award-winning, and they will treat you to some outstanding Italian food. I ordered the mushroom risotto and the caesar salad. Both were outstanding.

The risotto was creamy and delicious, and the Ceasar perfectly balanced the heavy risotto. I would drive back to Sand Lake to have that risotto again.


Francesco’s Ristorante & Pizzeria

You can find Francesco’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in downtown Maitland. It is a bit of a drive from Orlando, but I promise it is worth the drive.

Francesco’s serves up outstanding authentic Italian cuisine in a beautiful brick building. It has a homey feel that will make you feel at home immediately.

I ordered some calamari and the Bianca pizza and loved both. I also appreciate the wine pairings that they include for each menu item. They have taken a lot of time and care to craft this menu.

If you are in the mood for some Italian comfort, you should head to Fresco Cucine Italiana in the Sand Lake neighborhood of Orlando.

This delightful little restaurant serves authentic Italian food in unassuming digs and at reasonable prices.

I struggled to choose what to order because everything looked so good. I ended up selecting the stuffed mushrooms and the mussels.

The broth that came with the mussels was terrific. I could drink a cup of that every day and die a happy man.
