Historically, this “Gateway to the West” was a thriving center for the meatpacking industry. Additionally, Omaha is an excellent destination for avid meat lovers to find Reuben sandwiches and steaks bursting with flavor.
In fact, many restaurants in the city offer private rooms where you can enjoy their menus during any special occasion.
However, finding the best ones can feel overwhelming because of the sheer quantity of places to choose from and the city’s size.

For example, I enjoyed their Barbeque Scottish Salmon Filet topped with Lobster Tail from their Reserve Menu.
You can also ask about decor options for your party, such as floral arrangements and table centerpieces.

They also offer three customizable Pre-Fixe menus with mouth-watering specialties, including Mahogany Chicken, Prime Ribeye, and Filet Mignon. I went with the ribeye and did not regret it.
Feel free to ask your server about their gluten-free menu options for your guests.

801 Chophouse has four rooms for private dining that can seat between ten to 40 people. The Wine Room offers full privacy, while the Creighton, Nebraska, and Paxton rooms offer semi-private dining options.
You can expect quality USDA Prime steaks or exquisite Maine lobster paired with bourbon or scotch, no matter which room you choose.

I recommend starting with their Grilled Octopus and ordering their Potato Gnocchi, Penne Alla Vodka, or Dry-Aged New York Strip with a side of seasonal veggies or marinated olives.
If you have room for dessert, try their tiramisu or gelato.

In my opinion, their best dishes are Chicken Fried Chicken, BBQ Bacon Burger, and Classic Reuben. Don’t miss out on any of their on-the-rocks and on-tap beverages.

This restaurant incorporates a warm railcar aesthetic to emulate the city’s development through the railroad.
Executive Chef and Owner Jared Clarke serves exceptional New American fare for all to enjoy for any occasion.
This restaurant can accommodate private lunch or dinner events for up to 130 guests, including retirement parties, rehearsal dinners, and holiday parties.
Their three private dining menus include Communal Party, Three-Course Dinner, and Four-Course Dinner.
Personally, I enjoyed their Hanger Steak, Woodford Filet Medallions, and Braised Short Rib and Shrimp. Don’t forget to try their signature baked apple pie.

During my visit to Omaha, I tried their Saffron Bucatini, Scallops, and Chicken Breast with a Horsefeather cocktail. Also, consider trying their Chef’s Five-Course Tasting Menu with wine pairings for an immersive private dining experience.
