Omaha holds the honor of being Nebraska’s largest city, giving tourists and residents plenty to do during their time staying there.
While some people come to see the cascading buildings of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies, others enjoy the city’s museums and rhythm and blues music scene.
Historically, this “Gateway to the West” was a thriving center for the meatpacking industry. Additionally, Omaha is an excellent destination for avid meat lovers to find Reuben sandwiches and steaks bursting with flavor.
In fact, many restaurants in the city offer private rooms where you can enjoy their menus during any special occasion.
However, finding the best ones can feel overwhelming because of the sheer quantity of places to choose from and the city’s size.

This upscale restaurant makes the perfect setting for anyone interested in a private fine dining experience for their holiday parties or business luncheons.
Fleming’s creates personalized multi-course menus to match every party planner’s preferences when hosting a party in one of their exquisite private dining rooms.
For example, I enjoyed their Barbeque Scottish Salmon Filet topped with Lobster Tail from their Reserve Menu.
You can also ask about decor options for your party, such as floral arrangements and table centerpieces.

Next up on the list is Sullivan’s Steakhouse. Nestled deep within Downtown Omaha, you can find this steakhouse in the Central Park Plaza overlooking South 15th Street.
It has a stylish setting where you can enjoy your steak and cocktails with a nice view of the city and live jazz music.
You can book your next private event in their Upstairs Boardroom, Library, Wine Cellar, or Executive Boardroom. Each one has accessible Wi-Fi, and most of them have a flatscreen TV.
They also offer many fixed-price private menu options. In my opinion, you should try the Ribeye or Broiled Salmon from their Enjoy menu.

You can find it in the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District. This upscale restaurant is an ideal celebration destination for anyone interested in trying hearty steaks and fine wine.
If you’re hosting smaller parties with ten people at most, reserve their Manhattan Room. Their Scotch and Bourbon Rooms fit up to 25 guests when using one room, and 50 when combined. You can choose from multiple lunch or dinner packages, and try their lobster tail or chicken.
13665 California St, Omaha, NE 68154
Located on California Street, Mahogany Prime Steakhouse is an intimate and refined restaurant where you can enjoy classy takes on steakhouse favorites.
Their private dining rooms make excellent backdrops for anniversary dinners, holiday parties, or business meetings.

This restaurant’s carefully-crafted beverage menu offers a wide selection of spirits, wine, and cocktails you can enjoy with your friends or coworkers for any private party.
If you plan on hosting a dinner party in their private room, I recommend ordering their New Zealand Venison Loin or Florida Yellowtail Snapper.
They offer many red, white, and sparkling wines by the glass, but I also think you should try their Two Soulmates in Istanbul cocktail, Spice World cocktail, or a non-alcoholic mocktail.

Another Italian restaurant I recommend reserving for a private party is Avoli Osteria, located on Underwood Avenue.
This elegant and cozy establishment primarily serves Northern Italian dishes in a space decorated with photos on the walls and chandeliers hanging from above.
Although Avoli Osteria only has one private dining room, it’s an excellent option for anyone looking for somewhere quiet for their business dinner or graduation party.
I recommend starting with their Grilled Octopus and ordering their Potato Gnocchi, Penne Alla Vodka, or Dry-Aged New York Strip with a side of seasonal veggies or marinated olives.
If you have room for dessert, try their tiramisu or gelato.

If you’re looking for a more casual space for your private party after exploring Omaha’s neighborhoods, Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill – Omaha has got you covered.

Lazlo’s Brewery and Grill has two private dining rooms, the Brewery and Grain Rooms, but has an extensive menu for party guests of all ages.
In my opinion, their best dishes are Chicken Fried Chicken, BBQ Bacon Burger, and Classic Reuben. Don’t miss out on any of their on-the-rocks and on-tap beverages.

V. Mertz has one semi-private dining room, dubbed “The Wine Room,” where up to ten guests can enjoy small plates, large plates, or anything from their tasting menu.
I recommend sampling their Roasted Lamb Loin or Bone-In Ribeye. Feel free to treat yourself to a French Press coffee or after-dinner wine to finish your dinner party in style.

If you’re dining in one of Dolce’s private rooms, you can choose between an A La Carte or Pre-Fixe menu for your event.

In addition, their delectable menu crafted by Chef Spies and an international wine list piques the interest of anyone looking for elevated dining.
Their private dining room has a minimalist yet elegant design. If you’re hosting a party with under six guests, consider ordering from their four-course Pre-Fixe menu.
Their Mushroom Ravioli and Coq Au Vin taste excellent with their Italian, French, or South African wine selections.
You can count on Omaha to provide excellent private dining accommodations to match whatever immersive celebration you have in mind.
