The tables are lined with white linen table cloths, dim lighting, and beautiful floral arrangements.

When dining at Le Bernardin Prive, their traditional menu includes a tasting and either a three- or four-course meal. It’s no secret that Ocean Prime is a fantastic restaurant to host a private dining event. Their Midtown New York location is four minutes from Radio City Music Hall on W 52nd Street. This intimate and elegant restaurant is the perfect location to host a holiday party, birthday, or any other celebration you can think of.

One of the main reasons people love Ocean Prime for private dining is that they can seat anywhere from 13 to 250 people in their Midtown location. Whether you have a small group or a large one, you’ll have enough privacy to celebrate like you’re the only ones there. Ocean Prime is known for delicious seafood and steaks, so you’ll want to include any of their sushi rolls and their New York strip steak.

Less than a minute north of the United Nations Headquarters is Copinette. This classic American restaurant is the perfect place to host an event.

The restaurant is stunning, with wood floors, white walls, and mood lighting to set the scene. The artwork on the walls is feminine, to go with the restaurant’s name, which is French for girlfriend.

While Copinette is an American restaurant, many dishes draw inspiration from France and classic French dishes. To inquire about private dining, they have a form on their website. When picking your menu for you and your guests, you’ll want to include the crispy tortellini and lobster risotto. They also have a selection of hand-crafted cocktails you may want to sip on while feasting on delicious food.

Located inside The Museum of Modern Art is The Modern. This restaurant is exactly what the name suggests, modern. It has simplistic decor with neutral tones throughout the restaurant.

During the day, it’s bright with natural lighting, and in the evening, the lighting dims to make a more intimate feel. When reserving a room for private dining, you and your guests will have a view of the Rockefeller sculpture garden.

Their private dining options can seat anywhere from 30 to 250 guests. The cuisine at The Modern is American and French fare. You can choose between a five-course tasting menu to a three-course meal. I loved the herb-roasted scallops, roasted lamb rack, and the chocolate decadence for dessert when I visited here for dinner.

You’ll find La Grenouille a block from St. Patrick’s Cathedral. This French restaurant has been serving classic French cuisine since 1962 and is one of the most beautiful spots in Midtown for your private event.

The restaurant is decorated with beautiful floral arrangements throughout, giving it a fresh and bright feel.

To book a private room at La Grenouille, you’ll need to email them or give them a call. They’ll help you decide on a menu of perfect French dishes for your guests. Their three-cheese onion soup is the perfect appetizer, the lobster ravioli is the most delicious entree, and for dessert, the hot chocolate torte is my favorite.

AYZA is a French and Mediterranean restaurant that offers over 100 bottles of wine and champagne. When you coordinate with an event planner, you’ll select the perfect menu for your guests. I recommend having a cheese plate, smoked eggplant, and cheeseburger sliders on your menu.
