The restaurant is great for takeout and delivery, but it is nice to dine in the restaurant with a decorative ceiling and dim red lighting coming from behind the bar.
When I visited Sumi Sushi, I enjoyed the Tiger roll with tuna, salmon, avocado, eel, and tobiko.
Other rolls I enjoyed include the Snow White, the Mango Tango, and the Flatbush. Also, I would recommend the Dinner Bento Box that is served with miso soup and a California roll.

Daigo Hand Roll Bar is located inside the Dekalb Market Hall, a venue home to more than forty diverse food vendors.
The hand roll bar is open at 11:30 am daily. Each roll is made when ordered, so the rice is the perfect fluffy texture when it arrives in your hand. The menu is made up of rolls and rice bowls.
I enjoyed the Salmon Avocado roll and the Seared Shrimp Rice Cup. I would also advise visitors to sample the Yellowtail with Scallion Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll.
Try the restaurant’s specialty dish, the Daigo Special Bowl, with spicy tuna, salmon, jumbo shrimp, scallop, masago, avocado, and cucumber.

My favorite menu item is the Phoenix Roll, a shrimp tempura roll wrapped with spicy tuna and topped with scallion.

It is located between the Grand Army Plaza and Atlantic Avenue and is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday. It is a great option for delivery as well.
The menu is extensive. My favorite item is the Katsu Don Buri, a fried pork cutlet with mushroom, onion, and egg over rice.

When I visited Waza Sushi + Ramen, I tried the Poke Bowl with yellowtail and salmon topped with ponzu, mango, and seaweed salad.
I recommend trying the Yummy Roll with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, yellowtail, and eel sauce. I also enjoyed the Olympic Roll with shrimp tempura and lobster salad. Don’t skip the ramen!

The staff is exceedingly friendly and can help navigate the Hawaiian and Cajun fusion menu. It is a unique and exciting space.
My favorite dish is the Fried Flounder Po Boy with Cajun Fries, but many other diverse options are available.
Try the Crab Meat Fried Rice, the Lobster Tail, or Scallop. The clam chowder is also a surprise winner on the appetizer menu.

Sushi Lin is steps from the 7th Avenue Metro Station. The eatery is snug; it is situated in a narrow space, and the kitchen serves sushi and a chef’s choice menu. Sushi Lin is open for dinner between Tuesday and Sunday. The restaurant is perfect for a date night.
Try the omakase experience and leave your choices to the sushi chef; there is something for everyone with options of either a mini omakase or a full omakase.
Also, I recommend trying the Spicy Scallop and Salmon Cucumber rolls. The kitchen serves a tasty Chicken Teriyaki entree as well.

When I visited Ki Sushi, I enjoyed the Seared Tuna infused with truffle soy and herb wasabi oil, then garnished with avocado and crispy garlic chips.
My favorite sushi roll was the Peach Roll with tuna, avocado, caviar inside, topped with peach. If you have the time, stay for the omakase experience with fresh Japanese seafood.

On the border of the Fort Greene community sits 1 OR 8, a Japanese restaurant that is known for its creative sushi selection.
The space is sleek, minimalist, and modern, making it a perfect spot for self-identified foodies. Reservations can be made online for dining hours between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
The menu includes delicious options like Nikujaga Croquettes with potato, onion, sweet soy-braised beef, and cheese.
