Times Square Pizza Spots for Your Next NYC Visit

One of the most important characteristics a city can have is a high number of great places to get pizza, and there’s no other city on earth that knows delicious pizza like New York City, especially in Times Square.

Grabbing a few delicious slices of New York pizza in Times Square (also known as the Theater District) underneath the bright lights, among the never-ending crowds is an unbeatable experience that everyone should try at least once, but it’s important to go to the right pizza spots so you can make sure you get the best of the best.

In order to help all of our fellow pizza connoisseurs in this adventure, we decided to put together a list of the best pizza restaurants in Times Square so that you’ll know exactly where to go every time you’re in the mood for a New York slice.

First up on our list of best pizza places in Times Square is a pizzeria called Patzeria Perfect Pizza located off of West 46th Street next to the Paramount 4-star hotel. We absolutely love Patzeria Perfect Pizza because they are exactly what we envision when we think of a classic New York City pizza restaurant serving authentic NYC pizza by the slice in a cozy, over-the-counter sidewalk spot. What’s really great about Patzeria Perfect Pizza is that you can even stop in anytime between 7:00AM and 11:00AM and try their delicious breakfast options like pancakes, French toast, and eggs.

Next up is Carnegie Pizza and you can find them off of West 41st Street where they serve some of the best pizza within walking distance of Times Square, just down the street from Madame Tussaud’s New York wax museum. Carnegie Pizza can be hard to find among all of the hustle and bustle on the street, but when you do, you’ll be pleasantly rewarded with some of the best pizza in the city. We absolutely love their fresh mozzarella Margherita pizza, but another close favorite of ours to order from Carnegie Pizza is their Sicilian pizza.

Paul’s On Times Square

Paul’s On Times Square is another place that we consider to be one of the best places to get pizza near Times Square because of their close proximity to the beautiful Bryant Park, as well. This is one of our favorite places to go for pizza in NYC, but really they specialize in all Italian cuisine here at Paul’s, so be sure to come check this place out if you want a delicious slice of pizza with an exciting view of Times Square. One of the best things about Paul’s On Times Square is that they have all the classic pizza toppings like sausage and pepperoni, but they also offer amazing specialty pies that come topped with things like Maine lobster, goat cheese, or even duck confit.

Up next, you’re going to want to check out a pizzeria called Famous Famiglia Pizza that we think is one of the best places to eat in Times Square. We always come here when we’re in the mood for some delicious pizza by the slice because they have so many options to choose from when you don’t want to have to buy an entire pie. We usually grab a couple of slices of delicious buffalo chicken pizza or a slice of pepperoni pizza, but we never leave without an order of garlic bread or garlic knots and you shouldn’t either!


Radio City Pizza

Up next is Radio City Pizza located off of West 49th Street, just a couple of blocks away from amazing attractions like M&M’s World and the luxurious Crowne Plaza Times Square 4-star hotel. This is one of our favorite places to go in New York City for pizza, calzones, stromboli, and any other Italian-American classic that NYC is known for, all in one fantastic place!


99 Cent Express Pizza

99 Cent Express Pizza is one of the best pizza restaurants in Times Square and, honestly, they offer one of the best food deals in New York City. The name really says it all here at 99 Cent Express Pizza; you can get a hot, fresh slice of pizza for only 99 cents along with a bottle of water or a can of soda for only a dollar more, and we don’t really know where to find a better deal on a delicious lunch or dinner.

Famous Original Ray’s Pizza

Just across the street from the 7th Avenue subway station and only a couple of blocks away from the famous Broadway Theater and Ed Sullivan Theater is a place called Famous Original Ray’s Pizza that we consider to be of the best pizza restaurants in Times Square/Theater District. Not only is the pizza delicious here at Famous Original Ray’s Pizza, but they also have other classics like pasta, parmigiana, and even some mind-blowing New York cheesecake.


Pasta Lovers

Pasta Lovers is the next restaurant on our list of best Times Square pizza places even though they are a full-blown Italian restaurant with lots of other delectable cuisine options. You can find Pasta Lovers right off of West 49th Street, just a couple of blocks away from the iconic Rockefeller Center and the Radio City Music Hall, so it’s a perfect place to get pizza when you come out of the 47-50th Streets Rockefeller Center subway station.


2 Bros. Pizza

Look for 2 Bros. Pizza off of West 46th Street, just a couple of blocks south of the famous Rockefeller Center and the Nintendo New York video game store, where you can find them serving some of the best pizza near Times Square. We always love to order one of their meat supreme pies which is basically like a meat-lovers’ pizza that comes with sausage, ham, and assorted vegetables, but they also have a delicious white pie and Hawaiian pie for our fellow pineapple-lovers.


Carve: Unique Sandwiches & Pizza

This next place, Carve: Unique Sandwiches & Pizza, is located off of 8th Avenue, surrounded by phenomenal attractions in the Theater District like the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, Sony Hall, and the Longacre Theatre, so it’s the best place to get pizza after watching a Broadway show. We love Carve because you can order pizza by the slice or by the pie here, but what really stands out is their assortment of unique toppings that we haven’t seen in many other places like turkey bacon, chicken cutlet, broccoli, and even jalapeno peppers for a little extra kick!

Little Italy Pizza

Last, but not least, is Little Italy Pizza, one of the best pizza places near Times Square, if you ask us, and just an overall great pizza restaurant with incredibly tasty food. Check out Little Italy Pizza right across the street from the beautiful Renaissance New York Times Square 4-star hotel and M&M’s World where you can get classic New York pizza that’s both fast and fresh. We always recommend one of their classic pepperoni pizzas to anyone that’s never had the pleasure of going here before, but they have a delicious BBQ chicken pizza as well as a mouth-watering chicken bacon ranch pizza.
