New York City is home to diverse cultures and entertainment. Part of that culture is the thriving food scene.
In TriBeCa, short for Triangle Below Canal Street and one of the neighborhoods in Manhattan, you can find plenty of establishments that will tickle your fancy for a good brunch atmosphere. Many people enjoy the Tribeca scene because it is family-friendly and a haven of nice people in an otherwise gritty city.
Here, I will share with you the top brunch spots in Tribeca. Some of them are classic, family-friendly joints, others are a bit more cutting edge. You can order bloody marys, mimosas, and a big breakfast to satisfy your mid-morning cravings. I love mimosas and a nice french toast, both of which I can find at any of these brunch spots.
Whether you are looking for brunch cocktails or just great breakfast and brunch food for your Sunday brunch, you are sure to find it in Tribeca. Check out my list of the best brunch foods the neighborhood has to offer below!

Bubby’s is an iconic piece of history in Tribeca. The restaurant has been serving its classic, made from scratch food since 1990 at the corner of Hudson and North Moore Street.
The restaurant has a classic vibe that is sure to impress. Its homegrown taste and charm are the reason why many people love this brunch spot.
Their brunch offerings include a tasty pancake flight that can be customized to your liking with ingredients and toppings and plenty of large breakfast plates for even the hungriest people in your party.

The Odeon is a more upscale vibe but still retains its hometown classic diner vibe by the decor inside. You can expect to need a reservation for this popular spot, so be sure to call and reserve or use the reservation app Open Table. It is situated right on the corner of Broadway and Thomas Street.
Their brunch options include a mix of salads and breakfast plates. The brunch is a weekend brunch only as it is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 am-4 pm. Where The Odeon shines is its desserts. Their famous ice cream is made in-house and all-natural. My favorite flavors include banana graham cracker, espresso, and sea salt caramel.

This brunch spot is Tribeca’s taverna whose name means “Green Inn” in English. Italian chef Andrew Carmelleni serves up Italian-inspired dishes in this warm and comfortable but chic atmosphere. The restaurant has been serving up comfort since 2009.
Some notable sweet brunch menu options that I love at Locanda Verde are the lemon ricotta pancakes and brown butter waffle. Other more savory options lean on Italian-inspired items like pasta and a porchetta sandwich.
There are menu options for everyone, including gelato options for dessert, at Locanda Verde. You are sure to find something to your liking at this Greenwich Street restaurant.

This American-style cafe has two locations in New York. The Tribeca location runs near the historic downtown Tribeca. It is a few blocks below Canal Street and right across from the Franklin Street station. An excellent location to enjoy a weekend brunch and the historic sights of Tribeca.
The menu is short, but many of the best restaurants boast short menus to ensure quality. American Whiskey is no different. The chicken and waffles and steak fries are must-have brunch menu items here. You can also enjoy unique breakfast tacos!

One of the longest-running Diners on this list, Square Diner has been operating and serving the Tribeca area for 100 years. Though the diner serves breakfast all day, on the weekend there are a few brunch specials. Each special comes with a large plate of food and patrons can add mimosas or bloody marys for an additional fee.
Square Diner offers classic options like french toast, eggs benedict, and pancakes for its brunch specials. What I like the most is the opportunity to build my own omelet. Which is a good choice for those who like a little individuality.
Yves

A sleek and charming Tribeca spot is exactly what Yves embodies. Located in the 200-year-old Seafarers Inn, this Parisian inspired restaurant is a must-taste for locals and visitors. With a limited indoor seating capacity, Yves occupies almost double of the indoor seating capacity in the outdoor area.
Some unique weekend brunch options include oysters and escargot on the appetizers list and eggs en cocotte and french ham sandwich on the mains list. When I stepped into this cozy but upscale environment, I knew I was in for a nice weekend brunch.
