Brunch is probably one of our favorite meals to eat out at a restaurant, especially when we are in New York City, particularly Times Square, where you can get some of the best brunch foods in the world, if you ask us. Knowing where to go for the best brunch in Times Square can be quite the challenge thanks to the enormous number of establishments in the area, so we’ve decided to do our part for our fellow brunch-lovers out there and put together the ultimate guide to restaurants with brunch in Times Square.

These places are bound to have every brunch delicacy you could possibly want to start your day off with like chicken and waffles, French toast, biscuits and gravy, and so much more! Just start checking one off the list every Sunday when you get a craving for some pancakes and mimosas.
Friedman’s At The Edison

First up is a place called Friedman’s At The Edison, a fantastic gluten-free restaurant in Times Square and easily one of our favorite places to eat in NYC. You can find Friedman’s on floor 1 of the Hotel Edison 4-star hotel on West 47th Street alongside some of the greatest theaters in New York City like the Brooks Atkinson Theatre and the Barrymore Theatre, so it’s a great place to see a Broadway show and then go out to dinner. Friedman’s At The Edison is a gourmet restaurant with an entirely gluten-free menu that is sure to blow away any expectations you have about gluten-free cuisine. We absolutely love their fried chicken and waffles when it comes to eating brunch here, and we’re sure you will too!

Brooklyn Diner is one of those classic, retro diners that perfectly encapsulates the nostalgic 50s atmosphere of a laid-back, family-friendly diner with inexpensive American favorites like cheeseburgers, milkshakes, breakfast foods, and plenty of different sandwiches. The location of Brooklyn Diner is also what appeals to us when we’re deciding where to eat near Times Square because it’s only 1 block away from there, and it’s easily accessible via the Times Square 42nd Street subway station. Check out Brooklyn Diner off of West 43rd Street in the Theater District, right next to Starbucks and just across the street from the gorgeous Casablanca Hotel by Library Hotel Collection.

When we’re looking for brunch restaurants near Times Square, we always gravitate towards Junior’s Restaurant and Bakery, mainly because of their convenient location, but also because of their massive breakfast menu and selection of brunch cocktails. We always recommend coming to Junior’s Restaurant and Bakery for the classic New York cheesecake, but we think their brunch is just as delicious as their famous dessert. They have omelets, French toast, pancakes, and one of our favorites, classic eggs Benedict, but the list goes on and on here at Junior’s, so come on in and start checking things off the menu to try when you’re craving brunch in Times Square.

This next place, Crossroads, is one of our favorite places to eat within walking distance to Times Square when we’re looking for a bit more modern take on brunch foods in an upscale setting, close-by to the nicest theaters. Crossroads is located inside the New York Marriot Marquis 4-star hotel and home to the massive Marquis Theatre, so it’s a perfect destination for anyone looking to see a play or musical and maybe book a room. We absolutely love Crossroads for brunch in Times Square because they actually have spectacular breakfast buffets, both hot and cold, as well as other brunch classics like smoked salmon on a bagel and amazing omelets.

Dos Caminos is a phenomenal Mexican restaurant near Times Square that we think is one of the greatest brunch destinations in NYC if you want to take your brunch experience south of the border. We always order the breakfast quesadilla or the huevos rancheros when we come to Dos Caminos, but they have plenty of other delicacies like breakfast tacos, buttermilk pancakes, and even different flavors of sweet, refreshing smoothies to start your day with. Look for Dos Caminos off of Broadway Avenue in the W New York Times Square 4-star hotel in the heart of the Theater District, right across the street from Father Duffy Square.

Bluestone Lane Times Square Coffee Shop is located off of West 41st Street next to the famous Madame Tussaud’s New York wax museum and the AMC Empire 25 movie theater, just down the street from the New Amsterdam Theatre. This is one of the ultimate brunch spots in Times Square if you enjoy fresh avocado toast, power bowls, and lots of hot or cold coffee beverages to go with them. We recommend trying their breakfast bowl that comes with kale, tomatoes, avocado, quinoa, and a poached egg. They grind their coffee beans in-house here at Bluestone Lane to make the freshest, highest-quality coffee, and you can even order a bag to take home with you to enjoy your favorite brew on your own time!

Up next is The Times Eatery located off of 8th Avenue, right behind the St. James Theatre and almost directly across the street from The Westin New York at Times Square, where you can get some of the greatest brunch near Times Square. They offer some of the best bagels in New York City here at The Times Eatery; each bagel is hand-rolled with a variety of different flavors and you can build your own sandwich on one using a multitude of delicious options.

This next place, Daniela Italian Trattoria, is located off of 8th Avenue, just a couple of minutes’ walking distance to Times Square, right next to the Marquis Theatre, so it’s a perfect place to catch a show after brunch! They serve brunch here on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00AM to 4:00PM at Daniela Italian Trattoria, so be sure to plan ahead since you can’t experience their terrific brunch during the week, but luckily you get 5 hours to brunch it up on the weekends. We recommend ordering their stuffed French toast for those, like us, with a bit of a sweet tooth, but they offer other brunch classics like eggs benedict and a Greek omelette that we can’t get enough of.

Last, but not least, come check out Bond 45 on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00AM to 3:00PM when you’re searching for that perfect Times Square brunch spot. Look for Bond 45 off of 46th Street, directly across from the Marquis Theatre and right next to the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in the heart of the Theater District of Manhattan. We highly recommend one of their delectable omelettes or a stack of their classic buttermilk pancakes, but be sure to check back frequently because they are always adding new menu items!
