I spent a lot of time recently scouring the city for things to do on New Year’s Eve in Honolulu, and I certainly did not come back empty-handed. Vibe Lab Hawaii is excited to bring you New Year’s Eve with SoDown and Bass Physics at HB Social Club in the heart of Honolulu. Doors open at 8pm. Come celebrate the New Year and kick off 2022 with us!

Ehren River Wright, better known as SoDown, is tattooing his own signature on the world of dance music, illuminating a vibrant destiny for the saxophone playing producer. His live sets are saturated with vigor and animation, breathing life into a myriad of electronic sub-genres. 

Arja Adair, better known as Bass Physics, is a Denver based electronic music producer/musician who has one objective in mind: to have a positive impact on the world through the power of music. Waikiki Beach Fireworks

If you’re looking for New Year’s Eve fireworks in Honolulu, be sure to visit Waikiki beach at midnight! Their firework show begins directly as the clock strikes midnight and is set to last about 10 minutes. 


New Years Eve Around the World

Every year, Tiki’s Grill in Honolulu throws a NYE party called New Years Eve Around the World! This event includes a five course celebration menu from Chef Ronnie Nasuti, with optional wine pairings and decadent dishes such as ahi tuna tartare and surf & turf. 

The party at Tiki’s Grill includes live music and New Year’s countdowns from around the world, so if you’re visiting Hawaii you can see the clock strike midnight in your home area! See the full dinner menu and get tickets here.


Rock-a-Hula Dinner and Cocktail Show

You won’t find a better New Year’s Eve host than Elvis, so count down to 2022 with the cast of Waikiki’s own Rock-A-Hula dinner and cocktail show, which puts rock stars alongside Hawaiian music and dance, an experience you can only find in Hawaii.

This party includes live music, hula and knife dancing, a champagne toast, and party favors. The VIP package includes a four course lobster, salmon, and steak dinner and a bottle of champagne per two people. This event takes place at the Royal Hawaiian Theatre – learn more and find tickets here!


New Year’s Eve with The Green

Final Thoughts

As you can see, New Year’s Eve in a city like Honolulu is on a whole other level. There are so many places to party and watch fireworks around the city that it’s almost impossible to have a bad time on NYE in Honolulu, especially if you head to any of the venues I listed above.
