With a booming population of college kids and young graduates, downtown New Brunswick has turned into a hopping place, especially on those warm summer evenings. Below are our favorite restaurants and eateries that feature live music, ensuring that you can still have a fun time while still eating a great meal!

The Tavern on George is coming in first on the list as they have live music at least four days a week! With a huge menu and numerous delicious food options, you can’t go wrong at this place.

Tavern on George is also located in an excellent area for the New Brunswick experience. So, if you want to grab a drink before your live music restaurant experience or ice cream after, you are in a prime location.

We recommend checking the website or calling beforehand to ensure live music will be available on the day you are planning to eat there.

To ensure your luck at this restaurant, we recommend making a reservation as it is pretty popular! Not only do their music and events draw in customers, but their food and drinks do too.

Hub City Brewhouse offers live music every Saturday night, making it a very popular spot for locals in New Brunswick who want to have a weekend out. They have a long menu of cocktails, over 50 beers on tap, and a great food menu. 

On top of this, they are located in a prime spot in our Hub City! After your drink, dinner, and live music, you can set off to explore the theatre district or surrounding college town.

Offering live music since 1981, The Court Tavern has all of the places on this list beat time wise, and has kept a steady following through the years! Specializing in rock, punk, and metal music as well as open mic nights, The Court tavern is a great place to be if you’re looking to feel like a college kid again.

While this tavern does not offer much in terms of food, it has a great drink menu. So, if you’re more in the mood for a beverage than a meal this is the place for you.

Harvest Moon Brewery & Cafe

Harvest Moon Brewery & Cafe is one of the hopping restaurants in New Brunswick. Offering live music options during certain special events, it is a super fun place to spend your night out.

Harvest Moon has two floors of seating, a warm aesthetic, and a huge menu, not to mention their own hand-crafted beers created on site! Featuring a wide variety of cuisines, there is truly something for everyone here at Harvest Moon. 

Evelyn’s Restaurant

With an emphasis on Lebonese and Mediterranean food, Evelyn’s restaurant aims to please customers with great food in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. One of the only restaurants in the city with an outdoor patio and bar, it is the perfect place to enjoy a night out with live music!

Evelyn’s also has a mouth watering menu and happy hour every day between 4pm and 7pm. This is one place you don’t want to skip over this summer, so make sure you put it on your list!

Delta’s Restaurant

With an emphasis on “soul food” (aka southern cuisine) Delta’s emphasizes their atmosphere above all else. And with their atmosphere comes music!

With a live DJ every Friday night, every Saturday evening, and every other Sunday night, music comes with the Delta’s package here in New Brunswick. If you want a live band experience, make sure to come Saturday nights between 6 and 10pm!

Delta’s also offers Happy Hour between 2pm and 5pm on Saturdays.

George Street Ale House

The George Street Ale House is a must hit in New Brunswick. Serving everything from burgers to tacos to flatbreads to pasta as well as s variety of entrees, feel-good-food is their specialty. They even have brunch on the weekends!

George Street Ale House is actually known in the city for it’s live music entertainment (and late night entertainment in general!) so we highly recommend you stop by here the next time you’re romping around town!
