Breakfast Spots Near Miami to Check Out This Week

It’s always important to start your day with a delicious breakfast. Luckily, when you’re in Miami, there’s no shortage of places to eat breakfast. Sometimes it’s tough to choose which Miami breakfast restaurant is the best, though, especially if you’re hungry and pressed for time.

For that reason, I decided to help out all my fellow breakfast lovers in the city by putting together this guide that ranks the best breakfast spots in Miami. You’ll find homey diners, gourmet cafes, modern bake shops, and so much more when you peruse my list.

Whether you’re in the mood for fried chicken and waffles, lobster Benedict, or just some classic pancakes and bacon, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for on my list of the best breakfast Miami has to offer. Just see for yourself down below!

Greenstreet Cafe

3468 Main Hwy, Miami, FL 33133

Taking first place on my list is a place called Greenstreet Cafe, a bustling, longtime fixture of Miami when it comes to delicious food and great atmosphere.

You can find Greenstreet Cafe off of Main Highway in the Coconut Grove neighborhood near Peacock Park and The Barnacle Historic State Park.

I highly recommend trying either one of their omelettes, French toasts, or pancakes. They have so many options for all three of these that you could spend all day trying different things and never have the same thing twice. My favorite is the Nutella-stuffed French toast. It is absolutely decadent.

The Daily Creative Food Co.

2001 Biscayne Blvd #109, Miami, FL 33137

Visit Website

The Daily Creative Food Co. is a unique restaurant that you can find over off of Biscayne Boulevard near Margaret Pace Park in the Edgewater neighborhood, just north of Hilton Miami Downtown.

I really love grabbing breakfast here because everything is fast and absolutely delicious. They have New York bagels, omelettes, oatmeal, and fruit options here. I usually go with one of the NYC bagels like their lox bagel. It comes with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, red onion, and tomato slices.

Another thing I recommend is the fruit parfait for something a bit sweeter. It has granola and fresh fruit for a sweet, crunchy treat.

Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar

Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar is a great place to get breakfast in Miami, especially if you’re a hardcore coffee lover like I am. This place does all day breakfast and they serve some of the most delicious coffee and tea in the city, if you ask me.

I absolutely love their croissants with ham and swiss cheese. In fact, I usually can eat two of them because of how tasty they are. Another great option is the scrambled eggs with feta cheese and tomatoes.

Crema has multiple convenient locations around town, as well, so you’re never far away from gourmet coffee and a terrific breakfast.

Enriqueta’s Sandwich Shop

186 NE 29th St, Miami, FL 33137

Next up is a place called Enriqueta’s Sandwich Shop. This Miami breakfast spot is one of my all-time favorites thanks to their Cuban flair. I particularly love the special breakfast dish. This menu item comes with 2 eggs fried or scrambled with either ham, bacon, or sausage, and coffee, toast, or orange juice.

Check out Enriqueta’s over off of Northeast 29th Street in the Edgewater neighborhood, not far from the Wynwood Art District and The Shops at Midtown Miami.

I also recommend coming here for the empanadas and the delicious omelet that they have on the menu.

Edge Steak & Bar

Four Seasons Hotel, 1435 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33131
Phone: 305-381-3190

Another one of the best places to grab breakfast in Miami is called Edge Steak & Bar and they’re located on Brickell Avenue inside the Four Seasons Hotel Miami. This is the perfect place to grab breakfast, especially if you’re staying in the hotel.

Every day from 7AM to 11AM, you can order a delicious breakfast from Edge Steak and Bar. I really recommend the eggs Benedict or the avocado toast, but the buttermilk pancakes are a classic that’s hard to pass up.

One of my favorite things to order from here is a blueberry crumble muffin.

Pura Vida

Pura Vida is a South Beach favorite of mine when it comes to places to get breakfast near Miami. This place is so much fun to stop in before a day at the beach for a big breakfast. They have a huge menu with everything you could ever want on it.

They serve breakfast all day long here at Pura Vida which is one of the reasons I love coming here the most.

They have a salmon avocado menu item that I highly recommend. It comes with toasted sourdough topped with avocado, smoked salmon, and sesame seeds with the option to add 2 eggs as well.

Jimmy’s Eastside Diner

7201 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33138
Phone: 305-754-3692

Jimmy’s Eastside Diner is the quintessential American diner experience where you can get all-day breakfast, burgers, and other classic diner fare that we all know and love.

I really enjoy the hot cakes here at Jimmy’s Eastside Diner, but they have just about every delicious breakfast food you can think of.

What I recommend is the Western omelette or frittata. They’re pretty much the same thing except a frittata is served open-face. Jimmy’s calls it an “omelette too lazy to fold over”. Lazy or not, it’s delicious. The omelettes and frittatas are served with home fries, hash browns, or grits.

Cafe Bastille

248 SE 1st St, Miami, FL 33131
Phone: 786-425-3575
Visit Website

Cafe Bastille is an elegant French brunch restaurant and easily one of my favorite places to grab breakfast in Miami when I’m in the mood to eat somewhere that’s elegant but also laid-back at the same time.

Since it’s a French-inspired restaurant, I highly recommend trying the crepes here at Cafe Bastille. The crepe express menu item comes with strawberries, banana, nutella, and whipped cream. It’s the ultimate breakfast for anyone with a bit of a sweet tooth.

Check out Cafe Bastille in Downtown Miami, just east of Bayfront Park and north of the SilverSpot Cinema movie theater.

B Bistro + Bakery

Right next to the Brickell City Centre shopping mall is a place called B Bistro + Bakery that I think everyone needs to check out when they’re looking for Miami breakfast spots.

What I love about this place, besides the convenient location, is the steak and eggs option on their breakfast menu. It consists of a 4-hour braised short rib over basil mashed potatoes with salsa verde, chives, charred scallions, and two fried eggs. It’s absolutely divine.

If you want something sweeter, definitely check out their croissant loaf French toast. I’ve never had anything like it before thanks to the bread they use.

Las Olas Cafe

644 6th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Phone: 305-534-9333
Visit Website

Las Olas Cafe is located over in the Lummus/Flamingo neighborhood of Miami Beach, right near Lummus Park and ARTECHOUSE Miami. It’s perfect for stopping in and grabbing a couple of breakfast sandwiches for a day on the beach.

The breakfast sandwich is always my go-to order here at Las Olas Cafe, but there are plenty of other options to choose from. Another thing I recommend is the breakfast combo that comes with 2 eggs, 1 meat or veggie, home fries or French fries, and coffee or orange juice. It’s the perfect way to start your day off right.

Lilikoi Organic Living

500 South Pointe Dr #180, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Phone: 305-763-8692
Visit Website

This next place is called Lilikoi Organic Living. This is an all-organic restaurant that uses nothing but the highest-quality, freshest ingredients possible, so you know exactly what you’re eating when you order food from here.

You’re definitely going to want to try some of their fresh-squeezed juices here at Lilikoi, or maybe even a smoothie, but when it comes to food, I highly recommend the sous vide eggs Benedict with either smoked salmon or chicken sausage.

They also have lots of vegetarian options on their menu, as well, so anyone who prefers to eat meatless will feel right at home here.

Morgan’s Restaurant

28 NE 29th St, Miami, FL 33137
Phone: 305-573-9678
Visit Website

Just a couple blocks northeast of the famous Wynwood Walls outdoor museum in the Wynwood Art District is Morgan’s Restaurant. This is a must-visit restaurant in Miami for anyone in the mood for delicious breakfast foods.

I really love the chicken and waffle sandwich. It comes with cheddar cheese and it’s a delightful take on a brunch classic that you won’t find anywhere but Morgan’s

Some other great options for breakfast here at Morgan’s include the steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy with fried chicken, and the breakfast burrito. You really can’t go wrong when you grab breakfast here at Morgan’s Restaurant.

Roasters ‘N Toasters

18515 NE 18th Ave, Miami, FL 33179
Phone: 305-830-3354
Visit Website

Next up is Roasters ‘N Toasters, an NYC-style Jewish deli that has some absolutely incredible breakfast options.

Roasters ‘N Toasters is located near the Mid-Beach part of Miami beach, not far from the famous Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel, so if you happen to be staying at any of the nearby hotels like that one, this is where you should grab breakfast in the morning.

They serve all day breakfast here at Roasters ‘N Toasters, so no need to rush. When you get here, I recommend the brisket steak and eggs or their signature breakfast sandwich. You won’t be disappointed in either.

La Boulangerie Boul’Mich Coral Way

1242 Coral Way, Miami, FL 33145
Phone: 305-858-1051

La Boulangerie Boul’Mich is an upscale French restaurant that also serves a divine breakfast menu. You can find them in the Coral Way part of town, not far from the gorgeous Vizcaya Museum & Gardens.

They have fresh-baked pastries that they make in-house, every day here at La Boulangerie Boul’Mich, including 8 different kinds of croissants, including nutella, apple, chocolate, almond, and more.

I would say that my favorite breakfast menu item from La Boulangerie Boul’Mich is their huevos rancheros. For a French restaurant, they have an amazingly delicious take on this Mexican breakfast classic.

Big Pink

157 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Phone: 305-531-0888
Visit Website

This next place on my list of best Miami breakfast places is an American restaurant called Big Pink. This place can be found off of Collins Avenue in South Beach near Marjory Stoneman Douglas Ocean Beach Park and the Marriott Stanton South Beach hotel.

When you get to Big Pink, I recommend trying the breakfast burrito or the French toast eggs Benedict. They’re both absolutely delicious options that will have you full until well past lunch.

This is the first place I’ve ever even seen anything like eggs Benedict made with brioche French toast, so I had to try it.

Puroast Coffee

632 S Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33130
Phone: 786-212-1956
Visit Website

Next up, we head to Puroast coffee in Downtown Miami for our penultimate place to get breakfast in Miami. This place is right in the heart of the action on South Miami Avenue, inside the Brickell City Centre shopping mall. Perfect for a quick bite to eat while you’re on a shopping spree.

My favorite breakfast item from Puroast Coffee is something that they call The B.E.A.C. It consists of a fresh everything bagel with bacon, eggs, avocado, and cheddar cheese on it to create the perfect breakfast sandwich. This and a cup of coffee is my ideal breakfast.

FL Cafe

1360 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Phone: 305-763-8007
Visit Website

Last, but not least by any means, is FL Cafe. This American restaurant is located on South Beach on Collins Avenue, surrounded by hotels.

I love stopping in here before a day of soaking up the sun on South Beach for a cup of coffee and some pancakes, but the menu doesn’t stop there, not by a long shot.

You can find every kind of breakfast food you can think of here at FL cafe, and it’s all so tasty. I really love their eggs Florentine made with creamed spinach and hollandaise sauce on a toasted English muffin. It’s a perfect way to wake up.

It’s important to get a good breakfast in you before you go about your day, no matter what you’ve got planned. That’s why when I wake up hungry, I head down to one of these amazing places to get breakfast in Miami for a splendid morning meal.

Already had breakfast? Then you might want to check out these amazing Miami seafood places for dinner.
