Unwind with a drink on the Mississippi River, or visit a chic hotel bar and watch the sunset from the rooftop.

Moreover, discover the local Tennessee cuisine at the rooftop bars, and enjoy tasty dishes like fried chicken, barbeque pizza, or skirt steak.

Go Downtown and visit this chic rooftop bar on the Mississippi River, right next to the Hernando De Soto Bridge.

The bar is on Madison Ave and N Center Lane and is the perfect place to go for trendy cocktails and snacks.

I like to order the Wolf River Swizzle cocktail, a gin-based drink with lime and grapefruit. Order a frozen Margherita to cool off on a hot day, or indulge in a rich pimento cheese dip.

The Peabody Rooftop is an upscale event venue on top of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. It is Downtown on Union Ave and S 2nd St, not far from Redbirds Stadium, and it has classic American cuisine with Southern highlights.

You can rent the Peabody Rooftop for your next party or enjoy a cocktail in the hotel bar. The bar features a local favorite, Jack Daniel’s single barrel Tennessee whiskey. Try the Classic Manhattan with Jack Daniel’s.

Go to the Harbor Town neighborhood for a casual experience and light lunch cuisine. Terrace at The River Inn is at Harbortown Cir and Harbor Town Square, and it has a peaceful vibe.

Watch the sunset over the Mississippi River while you sip a cocktail, and see the Hernando De Soto bridge light up at night.

I tried the Tennessee Peach Tea at Terrace at The River Inn when I visited Memphis. Another fun drink is the Espresso Martini with coffee and vanilla vodka.

I usually order the strawberry salad with pecans and feta, but I sometimes get the fire-roasted skirt steak with tahini yogurt. Try a reserve bourbon or aged rum, or ask the bartenders to whip up a fun cocktail for you.

Spend a lively night out on a Midtown rooftop and order a pizza on Cooper St and York Ave. The pizza restaurant is near Peabody Park, and it has a welcoming vibe.

The Trippy Truffle is my favorite pizza, and it has five different kinds of mushrooms. If you are visiting Memphis, you may want to go with something more classic.

Order the traditional Memphis pizza with barbeque sauce, and pair your pizza with a cold draft beer or soda.

Beck & Call

Beck & Call is on the Mississippi River in Downtown Memphis, near the Orpheum Theatre. At Beale St and Wagner Pl, this trendy rooftop lounge is the perfect place to end a long day in Memphis.

Order American Southern food and enjoy the upscale environment. I prefer to order Southern classics like hush puppies, fries with barbeque sauce, or a fried chicken sandwich.

But you can also try the fried broccoli or chilled shrimp. Do not forget to try their signature Old Fashioned Cocktail while in Memphis.

Enjoy a rooftop drink next to a fire pit at the Mississippi Terrace At The Pyramid, and enjoy the view of Wolf River Harbor.

The bar is at Big Cypress Lodge in the Downtown area, off of Bass Pro Dr, and it serves cocktails and appetizers with a rustic vibe.

The Sweet Tea Mule cocktail is a great choice, but I also like the Strawberry Basil Cosmo with vodka, cranberry liqueur, and strawberry. Grab a bite to eat and try the fresh bacon guacamole.
