When you think West Hollywood, fashion, fun, sun, and celebrities probably come to mind. The famous Sunset Strip has comedy clubs, dance clubs, bars, boutiques, and plenty of celebrity hideouts for you to explore.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, and a plethora of art galleries and tourist attractions are the top entertainment options while you’re visiting.
The real fun comes when it’s time to go out to eat, though. However, there are so many options that it gets hard to pick.
Choosing between all of the restaurants in West Hollywood can be tricky because there are so many it’s hard to make a decision. Therefore, we’ve taken the liberty of assembling the ultimate list of eateries that cover all interests.

Connie & Ted’s is near the Los Angeles County Museum and the Beverly Hills area. Once you’ve enjoyed a day of shopping, head over to this elegant New England-style eatery for class seafood dishes with raw bar options.
The interior is gorgeous, with a modern open kitchen and sleek wood accents throughout the dining room. The restaurant also has a spacious outdoor seating area under a tent.
The Sunday brunch there is really good, and the cocktails are refreshing. Drop by for happy hour if you’d like to enjoy their half-priced appetizers and unique drinks.
My favorite dishes were Ed’s Portuguese Fish Stew, Hot Lobsters Roll with fries, Sea Bass, and the gooey Macaroni and Cheese. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and I would absolutely return when I’m in town again.
Dan Tana’s
9071 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069

Visit Website
Dan Tana’s is one of my favorite restaurants on the list. It’s a few blocks from West Hollywood Park, and it’s a historical staple in the L.A. community.
Dan Tana’s is a unique restaurant in that it resembles a little yellow house. You immediately start to feel the old-school Italian vibes when you step inside, which is their specialty. The atmosphere is entertaining, fun, and upbeat. The servers are also amiable and inviting.
What stuck out to me was how large the portions were and how fresh and authentic the dishes were.
Some of the most popular dishes are the Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, the Veal Chops with Minestrone (soup), and the Steak and Peppers.
It’s a very family-oriented eatery, and it’s never too crowded. Don’t miss out on Dan Tana’s if you’re in the area.

Sunset Strip is a small section of L.A. lined with boutiques, nightclubs, rock clubs, and restaurants. One of those restaurants is Night + Market (WeHo). There’s always music playing, great energy, and a fusion of California and Bangkok.
The location isn’t huge, but it’s cozy and welcoming to locals and tourists alike. You can enjoy traditional Thai street food and American classics such as beer and burgers.
The chef has made it clear that his goal, along with the staff, is to facilitate fun and drinking amongst family and friends.
The menu is eclectic, with two of the most famous dishes being the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Nam Khao Tod (crispy rice salad).
Every time I visit, I go for the Coconut Rice, the Startled Pig, Beef Tendon Curry, or the Drunken Noodles. Each dish has a nice depth of flavors and spices, and you won’t regret giving them your business at Night + Market.
Petrossian Restaurant & Boutique

Petrossian is an upscale, cozy, and romantic French cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. It’s one of the fancier restaurants in West Hollywood, just one block to the north of Beverly Blvd.
While their specialty is French cuisine, they have also incorporated a touch of Southern California into the decor and menu selections.
The results? A sophisticated boutique that blends taste, presentation, texture, and stellar customer service for an unforgettable experience.
Ceviche and caviar are their areas of expertise, and as such, you can come in to have an extraordinarily educational and delightful dining experience in one.
The servers take you on a trip by proposing different selections to suit your palate. I tried the best dishes were the Caviar Scrambled Eggs, the Crab and Caviar, and the Steak Tartare and Caviar topped off with a Martini.
Jones Hollywood Cafe
7205 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 9004

Jones Hollywood Cafè is close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It’s a trendy hangout spot that features American and Italian fare and creative cocktails in a retro-chic atmosphere.
The lights are low inside, adding to the casual vibes of the establishment. The menu is on the smaller side, but I didn’t mind that because the food was always fresh and tasted amazing.
You can get a variety of pasta dishes, salads, desserts, beers, and more. They have the best apple pie I’ve ever had; the crust was crispy, the filling was light and not overly sweet, and it was baked on the spot.
Also, the spaghetti and meatballs dish at Jones Hollywood Cafe is excellent. The pasta is made by hand, and the sauce is very flavorful. I’d also encourage newcomers to inquire about the thin-crust pizza, which gives you a genuine taste of Italy.

The location is excellent because it’s close to many popular shops and attractions in the area, and you have a great view of the area when you sit outside.

Rosaliné is a modern bistro specializing in Peruvian cuisine. You can find it near the Pink Wall, a brightly-painted pink wall located on the side of a clothing shop, popular for taking selfies.
The famous chef Ricardo Zarate is well known for having the best meat and seafood dishes in the area and his top-notch ceviche.
While the setting is intimate, it’s also lively. They have gorgeous plants hanging from the ceiling, making the vibes even more relaxed.
I don’t usually focus on drinks so heavily, but Rosaliné has the best cocktails on this list of restaurants in West Hollywood.
My favorite cocktail was the Bellicose Warrior. It’s a smooth drink that uses a smoky mezcal that carries a kick of citrus at the end.
The Kampachi Ceviche was sublime, and it came with buttery sweet potatoes. My entree was the Arroz con Pollo, which features juicy chicken over a bed of fluffy rice. Explosive flavor!
Merois

Morris is in Pendry West Hollywood Hotel, and it is incredibly high-class with a stunning interior. Gorgeous chandeliers are hanging from the ceilings, low lighting, sophisticated architecture and decor, and a warm staff.
Everything ties together beautifully with the views of Sunset Blvd through the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
The menu is a fusion of Southeast Asian, Californian, French, and Japanese influences. The world-renowned chef, Wolfgang Puck, features his best dishes in a magical setting. All of the food items are unique and full of deep flavors.
The foods I enjoyed most were the Crab-fried Rice, Shanghai Lobster, Branzino in Puff Pastry, and the Mushroom Tempura. You won’t be disappointed if you take a night to treat yourself to something special at Merois.
Sushi Park
8539 Sunset Blvd #20, West Hollywood, CA 90069

Sushi Park is one of the better restaurants that you can find in West Hollywood. Located in Sunset Collections, a two-story strip mall, Sushi Park boasts some of the best Japanese fare in the city.
One notable thing about this eatery, among many, is the outstanding and timely service. The ingredients are always fresh, and the fish is tender and plump.
If you’re ever in West Hollywood and you have a desire for an exquisite roll, stop by Sushi Park. Here are some delicious options to try: the Octopus Sushi, Albacore, and the Mochi are all excellent choices. Finish off with a Sake for a hard beverage; you’ll be glad you did. It pairs so well with the sushi.

This restaurant is comfortable, and the food is delicious. For someone like me that hasn’t transitioned to being vegan, I was worried about the flavors I’d miss out on at Crossroads. But every bite I had was packed with spices and flavor profiles that I really enjoyed.
My favorite dishes were the Artichoke Oysters, the Eggplant Filet, and the Maple Roasted Butternut Squash. I recommend this place for carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores alike.
Pizzana West Hollywood
460 N Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90048
Phone: 310-657-4662

Pizzana West Hollywood is also in the West Hollywood West neighborhood. The pizza here is an interpretation of how pizza is made in Naples, Italy. However, it has a Southern California twist.
The signature slow dough is meticulously and painstakingly prepared with authentic Italian flavors. Thanks to this specialty, everyone in the area knows where to go to get a little slice of Italy.
The service is speedy, and the pizza is out of this world. Their Margherita pizza is delicious but straightforward with that thin crispy crust. You can get other delightful food items such as Polpette Al Forno, the decadent Tiramisu, and the hearty Meatball Sub.

The atmosphere is festive and fantastic for an after-work gathering or friend’s date. This restaurant is the best for those with dietary restrictions or who are willing to try the vegan fare. Though I’m not vegan, I did really enjoy trying something new and unique.
Nothing places a great meal over the top quite like having awesome service as well. At Gracias Madre, this is exactly what you get, along with huge portions of tender and well-seasoned meat.
The Carnitas, Fajitas, and delectable burrito bowls are some of the best I’ve ever had, including from restaurants that serve meat!

You can find Madre nestled in the heart of Melrose Fairfax. The restaurant has an industrial and trendy decor that gives the establishment a welcomed sophistication.
Madre’s specializes in Mexican fares like yummy nachos and tacos. What’s more, they always have Margaritas to complement your meal.
As a matter of fact, you should probably begin your meal with a Charcoal Margarita or Margarita and Michelada.
What I liked the most on the menu was the Taco and Side Salad, Ceviche Piquin, and the Madre Enchiladas. The Mexican spices are pronounced, and the spice level is perfect.
The servers treat you like family, and the prices are reasonable considering how much food you get and how large the Margarita glasses are. I highly recommend this spot if you want authentic Mexican fare.

Tesse is an unsuspecting restaurant with modest decor near the Rumble Boxing fitness center. Take a trip there to chow down on French and Californian fusion dishes.
It’s a great chance to kick back and relax while unwinding after a long day at this minimalist establishment. It doesn’t get too crowded here, and the service is pretty fast as well.
The cocktails here are delightful, and they are willing to make custom creations for you on the spot. One aspect that stuck out to me was their food presentation.
You can tell that the chef takes pride in the small details that make the plate look almost too good to eat.
Here are a few items to try if you find yourself struggling to make a choice on your visit to Tesse: Charcuterie Board, Jidori Half Chicken, Steak Frites, and Duck Fat Fries.

Eveleigh is a rustic eatery that still somehow exudes an air of elegance. The food gets prepared from farm to table.
If you have trouble finding Eveleigh, it is located very near the Sunset Strip. Their delicious cuisine is inspired by both American and European cooking.
The vibes are casual, but it can also be the perfect place for a first date. The chef was also kind enough to come out and check that we were enjoying our food, which was a nice personal touch.
One of the things that you must do shortly after being seated is order a drink from their fun cocktails menu. Unicorn Juice, for example, is fun and refreshing.
Based on the reviews, the best dishes on the menu are the Hanger Steak, Truffle Fries, Dungeness Crab Pasta, and the Whole Roasted Branzino.
I opted for the Crab Pasta because I’m a seafood lover, and I can say that the reviews didn’t lie in the slightest!

The servers are very knowledgeable and ready to offer you a suggestion at your request. On your visit to Soulmate, do not miss out on trying the Seafood Paella, Salmon Crudo, Crispy Eggplant, and pretty much anything else on the menu! The Paella was my favorite because it had fresh mussels, clams, shrimp, saffron, smoky chorizo, and fluffy yellow rice. Amazing!
