17 Best Seafood Restaurants in Las Vegas

shrimps and mussels dish served at a seafood restaurant in Las Vegas

In the heart of the desert, Las Vegas is an oasis of the unexpected, not least when it comes to its seafood offerings. The finest seafood eateries in the city showcase the region’s opulence and abundance, bringing the treasures of the ocean to a landscape of arid beauty. These establishments, ranging from the elegantly understated to the extravagantly opulent, showcase the finest flavors from beneath the waves. Chefs here are akin to high rollers, placing bets on daring flavors and winning with their innovative dishes. Whether you’re seeking the briny sweetness of a freshly shucked oyster or the rich decadence of a lobster tail, Las Vegas’ seafood restaurants promise a jackpot of taste and sophistication. So, let’s cast a net over the city and reel in the crème de la crème of maritime feasts.

With origins in Miami, Florida, Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab is world-renowned and boasts multiple restaurants across the United States. Joe’s is conveniently located on Las Vegas Boulevard right in the heart of all the downtown action, making it the perfect stop along the way to your next destination. If you’re visiting Vegas for the first time, you must stop by Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab to try their famous Florida Stone Crab. This stone crab is so popular that it is sold in limited quantities, so ensure you get there early to make sure you can enjoy this delicacy. Pair your stone crab with some key lime pie and a glass of wine for the full Joe’s experience.

Open 24/7 the Oyster Bar caters to the visitors out to have a good time at any hour of the day. Located in Palace Station, the Oyster Bar is the perfect spot to stop and grab a bite to eat or a cold beverage and enjoy some $1 oysters before hitting the slots. This laid-back oyster bar is sure to fill any oyster need. From house favorites like the Seafood Jambalaya to the Oyster Shooters, Oyster Bar has just the menu you need to make your seafood senses go wild. Even though Oyster is the name of the game at Oyster Bar, my favorite item on their menu is their Shrimp and Lobster Fra Diavolo. The spicy garlic stew mixed with garlic tomato sauce sends your taste buds on an unforgettable journey.

Las Vegas Blvd has seen its fair share of celebrities. But in my book, the best celebrities are the ones that make a lasting impression in a given area and make my taste buds sing. That’s just what Chef Emeril Lagasse does at Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House. I promise this upscale seafood restaurant will not disappoint. With a wide variety of dinner and drink options, it is tough to narrow down exactly what to order. Let me make it easier and inform you that the best dish on the menu is Baked Maine Lobster. I may be biased since I grew up enjoying lobster and have had it in any form imaginable, but this lobster dish is perfectly prepared in a Brandy Green Peppercorn Creole Cream and served alongside mushrooms and spinach. It doesn’t get much better.

4. Mastro’s Ocean Club

As upscale as it gets, Mastro’s Ocean Club on Las Vegas Blvd is a fine dining experience you don’t want to miss. Mastro’s requires reservations and enforces a strict dress code and management reserves the right to turn down service to anyone who does not meet these requirements, regardless of your reservation status. If you’re planning on dining at Mastro’s Ocean Club, it’s a good idea to visit their website to ensure you understand the dress code. The fancy atmosphere translates over to the dishes as they offer a range of seafood options. If there is one thing on the menu you have to try, it’s the Jalapeno Tuna Sashimi. The spice of the jalapeno mixed with the fishy tuna flavor is like a party in your mouth. If sushi isn’t your forte, I recommend trying their 22oz rack of lamb with a side of lobster mashed potatoes.

The Main Lobster Bake is the signature dish that is a must if you are looking to experience true Hawaiian culture from a top chef. All awards aside, Other Mama is a Vegas dinner destination that is sure to satisfy any seafood needs. With so many options, it is tough to pick just one item from the menu. But if you only have the budget or time for one dish, I recommend the deviled eggs. They may not sound like much from the name listed on the menu, but if you enjoy the deviled eggs your aunt brings over for Thanksgiving dinner, you won’t experience disappointment. Other Mama’s deviled eggs are topped with fried oysters to take your deviled egg experience to a whole new level.

Even if you aren’t familiar with Vegas and what it has to offer, you’ve likely heard of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. While the Bellagio is known for its lodging and gambling experience, it also boasts an award-winning restaurant by Chef Michael Mina, which also happens to be the name of the restaurant. The dishes Michael Mina produces are so visually pleasing that you almost don’t want to eat them. Fortunately, the pleasing aroma lifting off the plate and entering your nostrils ensures you dig into the masterpiece. One menu highlight is the Hamachi Provencal which showcases raw Hamachi, chilled cucumber-serrano broth, and harissa roasted cherry tomatoes served in a sauce Vierge. Another signature dish at Michael Mina is the Ahi Tuna Tartare complete with toasted pine nuts, Asian pear, and mint.

With a prime location at the Venetian, Estiatorio Milos is a relatively new restaurant to the area and puts off major Greek vibes. With an ala carte menu, Estiatorio Milos portrays a comfortable atmosphere that is perfect for family-style dining. The architecture of this restaurant makes you feel as if you are in Greece with the use of stone, wood, and Pentelikon marble. You can’t visit Estiatorio Milos without trying their caviar. The Royal Belgian Ossetra with blinis and various condiments make the caviar one you will not soon forget. For your main dish, try the Milos Special made up of zucchini and eggplant slices with Saganaki cheese and tzatziki. Did you even visit a Greek restaurant if you didn’t try a classic Greek dessert? Finish your meal with some Greek yogurt or baklava.

Catch is advertised as the go-to seafood dining spot for celebrities in Sin City and is the only restaurant on The Strip that provides Asian-influenced sushi. Because it is located in the ARIA Resort & Casino, Catch is the perfect spot to get a bite to eat for dinner then hang out when taking a break from gambling. With it being the only restaurant in the area to rendition Asian sushi, it is pivotal to try what it is famous for. My favorite sushi option from Catch is the CATCH Roll. Not only is it torched tableside for an epic presentation, but the flavors of the crab and salmon married with the miso honey are to die for. If you prefer a more exotic sushi option, try the Hellfire Roll with spicy tuna, pear, and balsamic. We promise you can’t go wrong with some Catch sushi.

With an extensive menu, you can find all your seafood favorites at Crab Corner Maryland Seafood House including live lobster, soft-shell crab, and steamed mussels and clams. Start with some bacon-wrapped shrimp or Annapolis crab dip before moving on to some freshly steamed black mussels or hard-shell blue crabs. It doesn’t get much better than three Chesapeake Bay prime soft-shells that are hand-breaded and fried to crispy perfection.

Big Al’s Oyster Bar at Orleans Casino has everything you need from steamed clams to pot roasts to pasta dinners. The location inside the Orleans Casino means you don’t have to travel far from the jack-black table to enjoy some homestyle seafood. I’m a sucker for a good pasta dish-even better if it incorporates some form of seafood. Big Al’s offers a Linguini and Clams dish that will keep you coming back for more. The chopped clams are cooked in garlic butter and served with a creamy white wine sauce with herbs. This dish paired with a seafood cobb salad and a glass of Kenwood Pinot Noir takes you to seafood heaven.
