What is the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10?
The ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 is an instant read meat thermometer.
Meat thermometers are used to check the temperature of the meat you’re cooking. This can help get your steak to the perfect temperature for your preference, or to check that chicken’s internal temperature is high enough that it’s safe to eat.
If you’ve ever overcooked a steak, or cut into meat and realized it’s not fully cooked, a meat thermometer is the tool you need.
Both professional chefs and home cooks can benefit from an accurate meat thermometer to ensure that meat is cooked to precision.
ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 Features
The ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 has some impressive features that set it apart from the competition.
First of all, it’s the fastest thermometer on the market, giving accurate readings after only 1 second. That means that as soon as you stick the probe into your food, you’ll get a quick response with its internal temperature.
Another feature we love about the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 is its large, backlit display.
While many digital meat thermometers have small screens that can be hard to read, the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 has an extra large display that lights up so that you can even see your meat’s temperature from a distance.
This feature is great for older eyes and just makes it easier to read in general.
Another feature we love is the fact that the digital screen rotates, so no matter what angle you’re holding the ChefsTemp thermometer at, the temperature will appear face-up and easy to read. The screen rotates at 270 degrees, and it automatically senses which way it’s being held so that it’s easy to read.
This feature is great for me, because I’m left-handed and most thermometers are designed for right handedness.
Often, meat thermometers only read in one set direction, so if you’re holding the thermometer at an awkward angle it can be hard to read. This intuitive design makes the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 very user-friendly.
One other feature worth noting is the long battery life. The ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 has a battery life of 3000 hours. Since it only takes one second to check your meat’s temperature, this thermometer’s battery should last quite a while!
Our Review of the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10
I tested the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 in my kitchen to see how it really holds up. I tend to overcook my steak, so I was excited to use this meat thermometer to get my meal just right.
The ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 is larger than other thermometers I’ve used, but it has a sleek look. It came with batteries, which is always a plus.

I was happy to learn that the back is magnetized, so you can stick it right on the fridge so it’s always ready.
To turn on the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10, all you have to do is unfold the metal probe and it automatically turns on. To turn it off, simply fold the probe back in.

I found this simple design choice to be smart, because it makes it easy to turn on and off and ensures you’re not wasting any battery with a button that could get pressed in your cutlery drawer.

I followed the calibration instructions in the packet to ensure my reading would be accurate.
Once my steak was cooking, I inserted the probe to check the temperature. It responded quickly, and since it wasn’t done yet I knew I had some time before I had to check again. Once it was looking closer, I inserted the ChefsTemp probe again and watched as the temperature climbed to my desired temperature.
This thermometer also has a “Hold” button which holds the temperature once you’ve inserted it – this helps if you’re cooking over a hot grill and you want to get a read on the temperature and walk away from the heat to read it.

The ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 was extremely easy to use. The screen rotated as I needed, and the large display was easy to read. It read the temperature extremely quickly, and I got to watch as the temperature increased bit by bit, so my steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare.
I have used other meat thermometers before, and the ChefsTemp Finaltouch X10 is definitely more impressive in terms of features and speed.
