Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Indianapolis is a really special experience that I recommend everyone try. The whole city comes to life and there’s a sense of joy and excitement to put the old year behind us and get on with the new one. Probably the best part of NYE in Indianapolis is the sheer amount of fun parties to attend.
There’s no shortage of restaurants and bars that come out and host a celebration for New Year’s Eve in Indianapolis, but you don’t want to waste your time going to a party you may not enjoy, so it’s important to plan ahead, and I’ve got something that can really help with that, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the area.

Cholita New Years Eve
Upstairs in Cholita, we have DJ Liiightwerk playing from 9pm until midnight. Enjoy an open bar along with specialty NYE cocktails such as our classic margarita, sparkling margarita, a champagne daquiri, and Papá Noel (Casamigos tequila, cranberry ginger syrup, and orange bitters).
Food includes fried chicken tacos with caviar, Miguel’s smoked fish tostadas, pork pastor mini tacos, Amazeball crispy folded tacos (vegan), pomegranate guacamole, and prime rib tacos. Enjoy Bavarian filled churros with a chocolate fountain for dessert.

Spend the night ringing in the New Year with your favorite Spellbound hosts and guest DJs at a very special location here in Indianapolis!

Hyryder is bringing us 2 HUGE Nights starting with Friday, Dec. 30th and culminating with another Grateful NYE on Saturday Dec. 31st.
Bridgerton New Year’s Eve Party
Come dressed in your corsets, empire waists, elaborate headpieces, bows and brocade, and of course, opulent accessories.
Appetizers will be provided. The space is a must see to include red velvet wallpaper, leather tufted furniture, chandeliers, gold ceiling, second floor outdoor patio overlooking Shelby Street and ability to see downtown skyline a library and more.
Wolfies New Years Eve V.I.P Party
Our 3rd annual New Years Eve VIP Party that will include Jai Baker. The VIP tickets include access to our Broken Barrel Lounge which includes an appitizer buffet, and a midnight champagne toast! The tickets sell out fast, so get them while you can!
Also, downstairs will be first come, first serve seating for walk in guests like usaual. Our hours will still stay the same for New Years Eve. Jai Baker will be performing live entertainment from 8pm-midnight!

Will parking be available?
Depending on the venue, yes. Some places even offer a valet service!
Is there a dress code?
Some restaurants and bars require pants or a jacket, but it’s best to check ahead with any establishment you plan to visit.
Will there be hotel accommodations?
Yes! Several hotels around the city will be hosting events for the holiday.
Will there be food at the NYE parties?
Depending on the venue, yes. Many restaurants and bars will be offering limited NYE menus.
Do I need a ticket?
Many events will require a pre-purchased ticket, but some fireworks shows are free to the public.
Final Thoughts
As you can see, there are unforgettable experiences waiting for you on New Year’s Eve in Indianapolis. There are so many places to celebrate and watch fireworks around the city that it’s almost impossible to have a bad time on NYE in Indianapolis, especially if you head to any of the venues I listed above.
