Now, we’ll head over to B&B Butchers & Restaurant off of Washington Avenue just a couple of miles from Houston’s Theatre District and the Downtown Aquarium. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to go all-out on an extravagant steak dinner for themselves and their guests. They’ve got the butcher shop that seats 20, the upstairs dining room which seats up to 70, the rooftop patio which seats 80, or a combination of the upstairs dining room and rooftop patio that seats 140. The attention to detail is to the extreme here at B&B. The only aspect your guests will find more impressive than the venue and service is the delicious food and all of the dry-aged, Prime steaks.

The Grove is one of the largest venues available and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best private dining rooms in Houston. There are 6 options for hosting your special event here. You can choose between the Green Room, the Primavera Room, the second floor, the lake house, the Grace Event Lawn, or a full restaurant buyout. My personal favorite would be the second-floor option which provides full access to the Treehouse Deck with a rooftop bar as well as the Vista Room, complete with a private balcony.

This next place is called Churrascos SteakHouse and I would highly recommend them for anyone hosting a wedding event, business meeting, or any other special occasion where you want to make a good impression. Churrascos is inside the Shepherd Square Shopping Center alongside Target and Starbucks. It’s not the biggest place, but the atmosphere is unbeatable. You have the choice of either the Wine Room or The Garden. The Wine Room seats up to 55 but can be divided into 3 smaller rooms, and The Garden seats 60 outside on a beautiful brick patio full of vibrant flora.

This refined Italian restaurant provides both brilliant service, atmosphere, and food all in one place. It’s one of the best places to host a private dinner in Houston if you ask me. There are 4 options for private dining here at Potente. You can seat 8 in the Wine Room, 32 in the Private Room, 50 guests on the Dining Terrace, or 150 in a full restaurant buyout. In my opinion, the Wine Room provides the most interesting ambiance, being surrounded by hundreds of bottles of wine. No matter which one you opt for, however, you won’t regret it.
