If you’re hungry for a delicious brunch in Maui, you’ll love Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop. They are a casual dining environment that serves up salads, sandwiches, and a variety of classic breakfast foods. They are known for their mix of sweet and savory pies.

All of their sandwiches are made on thick, chewy house-made bread and made with fresh, local ingredients.

They also have several burgers and hot dogs, including options for vegetarians. I recommend the Lahaina Dog, a gourmet beef dog with poha berry mustard and topped with pineapple chutney.

My favorite pie on the menu was the delightfully decadent Chocolate Mac Nut Pie. I was also partial to the monkey bread, which is made with potato bread and topped with a sweet cream cheese frosting.

The Gazebo

This open-air restaurant is the perfect choice for brunch in Maui. It is a popular spot, so you either need to get there early or be prepared to wait in line, however, I promise that the food is worth the extra effort.

Standard and unique brunch fare are available at The Gazebo, from omelets and french toast to fried rice dishes.

The Macadamia Nut pancakes are a particular favorite from both tourists and locals alike, topped with fresh slices of banana.

I tried the Eggs Benedict and a white chocolate chip pancake with my coffee and walked away full and happy.

In addition to the delicious food, the staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and relaxed despite the crowds.

Lighter fare includes items like the Papaya Delight, which is half a papaya filled with yogurt, granola, and raisins, Bircher Muesli, or a cup of fresh, local fruit.

Heartier items include mouthwatering Chorizo & Scrambled Eggs, Eggs Florentine, or my personal favorite, the Loco Moco.

They also have an extensive beer and wine selection, with a variety of choices from local brewing companies.

As for food, I tried the Fresh Caught Fish Tacos with a side of Garlic Truffle Oil Fries. Both were delicious, and the fries came with house-made ketchup.
