We thought we’d make things a bit easier for all of our fellow barbecue lovers out there, so we put together the most amazing guide to the best barbecue restaurants in Fort Lauderdale that you really don’t want to miss out on.

Right off of Northwest 22nd Road and Northwest 6th Place is another one of our favorite places to get some of the best BBQ in Fort Lauderdale, Big Boyz BBQ.
We strongly recommend trying their BBQ chicken dinner that comes with 2 sides, but you can also get their delicious barbecue chicken as a sandwich as well.
As for sides, they have all the favorites here like mac and cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, and more.

First up is Smoke BBQ Restaurant & Catering and you can find them off of Northeast 32nd Street and North Ocean Boulevard, directly on the gorgeous Fort Lauderdale Beach, and they’ve got some of the best barbecue in Fort Lauderdale.
We always go directly for their barbecue ribs here at Smoke BBQ, but we can’t them without a side of the tater tots and a piece of corn bread.
Like their name says, Smoke BBQ Restaurant & Catering can also cater any and all of your big events if you ever have a special occasion that you want to make even better.

Up next on our list of best barbecue in Tampa Bay is a place called Tom Jenkins BBQ located off of South Federal Highway and Southeast 12th Court, just north of the Poinciana Park neighborhood.
We absolutely love their smoked turkey breast and their baby back ribs, but what we really can’t get enough of here at Tom Jenkins BBQ is their homemade sweet potato pie that you can order either by the slice or the whole pie.

Georgia Pig BBQ & Restaurant is located off of South State Road 7 in the Broadview Park neighborhood, just south of the Fort Lauderdale Country Club golf course, and they serve some of Fort Lauderdale’s best barbecue, in our opinion.
What we love most about Georgia Pig BBQ & Restaurant is that they have home-cooked specials every day like meatloaf, country-fried steak, fried chicken, and many other southern classics, but what really takes the cake are their barbecue spare ribs, for sure.

Next up on our list, check out Smokey Bones off of North Federal Highway outside of the Bay Colony neighborhood for some of the best BBQ in Fort Lauderdale.
What we love about Smokey Bones is that, besides their amazingly delicious barbecue food, they have a huge menu of cocktail options from their full liquor bar to go along with your meal.
We recommend trying their jumbo smoked wings here at Smokey Bones because of the tasty house seasoning and how well they’re smoked to such tender perfection.

Next on our list of Fort Lauderdale’s best barbecue restaurants is a place called Lil Red’s Bar-B-Que located off of Marina Mile Boulevard and Southwest 17th Avenue.
What we love most about Lil Red’s Bar-B-Que are their many barbeque combos that they offer like barbecue shrimp and chicken or smoked sausage with barbecue beef.
If you’re looking for sandwiches, however, they’ve got those too, including favorites of ours like the barbecue pork butt and barbecue beef sandwiches.
Fat Boyz Barbecue – Fort Lauderdale

Fat Boyz Barbecue is located off of Northeast 9th Avenue and East Cypress Creek Road, just outside of the Collier Estates neighborhood, where they serve some of the best barbecue in Fort Lauderdale, we think.
It’s incredibly hard to choose a favorite dish here at Fat Boyz Barbecue because everything is so delicious, but if we had to narrow it down to the top 3, they would be the pulled pork, beef brisket, and their burnt ends, for sure.

Look for this next place, R&R World Famous BBQ, off of West Broward Boulevard near the Boulevard Gardens neighborhood, where they are consistently serving up some of the best BBQ in Fort Lauderdale.
The pulled pork is our number one go-to thing to order here at R&R World Famous BBQ, but they have plenty of other delicious dishes that you’re going to love like ribs, chicken wings, and much more.
Red Cow BBQ

Up next is Red Cow BBQ and you can find them off of Northeast 3rd Street directly in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, just south of Holiday Park, where they are always serving up some of the best barbecue in Fort Lauderdale.
What we always order when we stop by Red Cow BBQ is some of their wagyu beef ribs or their delectable St. Louis ribs, but they also have delicacies like pulled pork, pulled chicken, and even a bacon-brined pork loin.

Last, but not least, check out Dixie Pig Bar-B-Q over off of North Dixie Highway and Floranada Road in the Central Business District to get some of the best barbecue in Fort Lauderdale.
We cannot recommend their chopped brisket sandwich and their North Carolina BBQ chicken sandwich enough to anyone that goes to Dixie Pig Bar-B-Q, and it goes great when you pair it with some of their homemade chili, as well.
