Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, Café Monarch started as a small and intimate restaurant but quickly rose to prominence.

This prompted the owners to look for a larger venue and buy the building across the street.

However, they emphasized maintaining that same intimate feel, and it shows through the restaurant’s elegant and sophisticated look.

The attention to detail can also be seen in the restaurant’s five-star cuisine and the stellar four-course dinner menu.

So whether you want premium fresh food and local or seasonal meals, your culinary experience at Café Monarch will remain unmatched.

In addition, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has free parking.

August is located in the 19th Century townhouse in New Orleans.

From its architectural details to unique dishes centered around Louisiana ingredients, it’s a marvelous spot for anyone looking to spend a romantic evening with their loved one.

Moreover, it’s also a reasonably quiet restaurant that isn’t always packed with tourists.

On your date, you must try their warm chocolate soufflé. I had their delicious sweet tea grilled duck breast, which was exquisite.

Other popular items on their menu include seared bluefin tuna and grilled prime strip steak.

While August It may not be as expansive as some other restaurants on this list, its compact nature makes it even more alluring to love birds looking for a unique hideout to call their own.

La Fable

26 Baltimore Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
Phone: 302-227-8510
Visit Website

Inspired by “Eloise in Paris” picture book from her childhood, the owner of La Fable wanted to give others a similar taste of France through her cleverly designed restaurant.

From its decor to all the items on the menu named in French and drawing inspiration from the traditional French cuisine, La Fable can easily make you forget that you’re in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

I had their truite amandine, which features a pan-seared rainbow trout, green beans, chopped marcona almonds, and beurre blanc (a classic French butter sauce).

The staff was also very friendly and willing to explain the various dishes and ingredients listed in French.

Notably, the restaurant’s seating arrangement makes it a great choice for a double date.

Located just off the lobby of Hotel 43 in Boise, Idaho, Chandler’s Steakhouse strikes a balance between a classy setting and not too pricey food.

Coupled with live jazz music every day of the week and a martini bar, it’s a versatile destination for romantic endeavors.

The menu is highlighted by premium steaks and fine seafood, and don’t even get me started on their spinach-strawberry salad!

They also offer specialty desserts and dessert cocktails, such as triple-layered carrot cake and chocolate martini.

I would recommend making a table reservation based on your preferences, whether it’s a spot that offers more privacy or perhaps closer to the artists performing live music.

Latitudes is a posh restaurant in the Sunset Key Cottages Beach Resort; an established luxury hotel tucked away in Key West, Florida.

Conveniently located on the Gulf of Mexico, the restaurant overlooks the ocean, where the sunsets and sunrises are incredibly breathtaking.

It also hints at their food being predominantly fresh, flavorful island cuisine. Open table dinner perfectly matches the phenomenal indoor and outdoor views.

Another great thing about Latitudes is the easy access to the hotel and accommodation facilities when you want to spend a night or two in town.

Perry’s started as a small butcher shop that opened its doors in 1979.

For over 40 years, Perry’s have since perfected their art in preparing steaks to become an unbeatable force across Birmingham, Alabama.

They are most renowned for the prime chop coated with their secret mixture of seasonings. The meat is roasted on a rotisserie for several hours before being carved and served.

However, Perry’s offer more than just sumptuous hot steaks, as you will also have a full bar, table service, private dining, and valet parking, among other amenities, at your disposal.

Catering to a broad range of guests, Perry’s is suitable for business meetings, special events, and, most importantly, romantic dinners.

I found the menu quite versatile, with options that are predominantly classic American meals.

Atelier Crenn is situated high on one of the many hillsides at Cow Hollow in San Francisco.

The restaurant’s co-owner and chef, Dominique Cren, is the first female chef in the US to earn three Michelin Stars.

In addition to the sublime cuisine, what makes Atelier Crenn a great romantic restaurant is its interior which creates a warm and homey atmosphere.

On my visit here, I had the French onion soup, which is the most delicious I have ever had!

I also sampled the smoked mussels with abalone and cabbage and paired that with some wine.

The portions are perfectly sized if you wish to have just enough room for a dessert. You should know, however, that this is one of the most expensive restaurants in the US.

Charleston Grill

224 King St, Charleston, SC 29401

Visit Website

Charleston Grill is located in the center of Charleston’s historic district as the feature restaurant of Charleston Place hotel.

The in-house chef Michelle Weaver draws inspiration from various cuisines, ranging from classic Southern to French.

Hearing only positive things about the chef’s crab cakes, I simply had to order one for my appetizer.

For my main meal, I went with their seafood special, which was an expertly prepared grouper.

Notably, the menu is subject to change depending on the season to ensure the finest ingredients, so your experience with some of the dishes may vary depending on when you go there.

Furthermore, complementing the great food is live music featuring different genres, including blues, soul, and contemporary jazz.

I also loved the dark wood giving the interior a stylish look. So if you are aiming for a more sophisticated date night, I would highly recommend reserving a table at Charleston Grill.

Nocturne

1330 27th St, Denver, CO 80205
Phone: 303-295-3333
Visit Website

Nocturne is a restaurant that makes you feel like the main character in a classic movie.

The owners wanted to introduce jazz to a wider audience, and what better way to do so than in a captivating setting and exquisite cuisine.

The three-course dinner can be customized to your liking, or you can go with the Chef’s Special for the night.

The ingredients are sourced from front-range farmers, organic ranchers, and other local small-scale suppliers.

I thoroughly enjoyed their spring greens salad, followed by Colorado lamb loin chops, and topped off with a chocolate beet cake for the dessert.

Nocturne’s sommelier can assist you in choosing the best wine or cocktail for each course.

Moreover, their regular list of wines doesn’t include a few other options that you can inquire about and order if you have a specific wine in mind for your date night.

Built to resemble the Eiffel Tower in France, the 46-story Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas is a sight to behold.

And once you get to the restaurant at the top, the panoramic views alone make this one of the most romantic dining spots in the US.

As if trying to match the stunning effect of the restaurant’s location, Eiffel Tower’s menu features the finest meals you can think of.

From lobsters to truffles and caviar, there is no shortage of delicacies to indulge in on a date night. Not to mention their desserts, such as one of my absolute favorites, strawberry rhubarb soufflé.

They also have an excellent selection of wines and handcrafted cocktails. So if you are looking for a complete dining experience and breathtaking views of a lively city, I would be hard-pressed to find a better restaurant than the Eiffel Tower.

The Sedgley Place

Sedgey Place is a hidden gem located in New England in what initially served as a Federal home in 1786.

This restaurant features beautiful architecture that hasn’t been tampered with much, including the hardwood floors, fireplaces, and various antiques that have been preserved.

The menu changes depending on the season and includes beef ribs, fresh fish, and vegetarian and poultry options.

Having heard only positive things about it, I went with their prime rib of beef au jus served with roasted new potatoes.

True to its hype, the meal was full of flavor and plentiful, so I would recommend it if you love well-prepared ribs.

The restaurant also hosts different events, from wine pairing dinners to daily specials featuring some of their most popular dishes.

So it’s worth checking their website in advance if you wish to take advantage of an upcoming event.

Tidepools Restaurant

Phone: 808-240-6456

Tidepools Restaurant is located at the base of a waterfall in the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa in Hawaii.

It was designed with a traditional village in mind, featuring thatched-roof bungalows sitting above a lagoon filled with koi fish.

Moreover, the bungalows have transparent walls so that you can freely soak in the natural beauties around you.

The restaurant’s chef, Jay Ledee, was trained by two master sushi chefs, so I would highly recommend trying out his finely crafted sushi.

Other foods on the menu include various steaks, seafood, and a full spectrum of ingredients characteristic of Hawaiian cuisine.

Though one could argue that just the idea of visiting Hawaii is romantic, Tidepools Restaurant epitomizes genuine Hawaiian hospitality and everything that makes Paradises of the Pacific perfect for love birds.

It’s the ideal stage for an intimate evening with your significant other when you want to share intimate times over a nice meal, some drinks, and jazz music.

This restaurant features a New American menu and can get packed quickly, especially in the evenings.

As the night advances, the music gets louder, and the crowd boisterous. It only adds to the accommodating feel that many high-end steak houses miss out on.

As the restaurant’s name hints, most meals here feature fresh meat, crab cakes, and occasional pasta.

Enzo’s on the Lake

If you thoroughly enjoy art pieces, then the first thing you will notice is the distinct Picasso-esque paintings on the walls all over Enzo’s.

Enzo’s on the Lake is an outstanding restaurant occupying a space that was once a private residence.

I was surprised to learn that this restaurant has been open since 1980! It’s no wonder their food and Italian ambiance remain top-notch.

After all, some things can only come with experience. I had the chance to take the noodles with mushrooms, pram, and prosciutto, a meal dubbed Bucatini Alla Enzo, on the menu.

The mouth-watering Italian meals and views of the lakefront green gardens undoubtedly make this one of the most romantic restaurants in the US.

Located in Houston, TX., State of Grace offers comfort food in a ravishingly beautiful space inside the newly renovated Lamar-River Oaks Shopping Center.

The restaurant aims to replicate that warm neighborhood feel and slow everything down, so it’s an ideal setting to take a break from the modern, fast-paced lifestyle and immerse yourself in a romantic dinner.

The executive chef Bobby Matos is behind a versatile menu that includes culinary favorites from American, Asian, German, Gulf Coast, and Latin cuisine.

Feeling in the mood for some traditional pasta, I ordered Papardelle, which features beef cheek bolognese and savory Grana Padano cheese.

In addition to diverse brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, State of Grace also has an extensive list of oyster dishes.

So if you wish to combine a romantic event with culinary explorations, you can easily get lost in discussing all the gems on the menu here with your loved one.
