California Pizza Kitchen Rolls Out New Summer Offerings

California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) is welcoming the summer with an exciting new menu available until August 18, 2024. This seasonal menu highlights fresh strawberry and watermelon dishes, complemented by a selection of handcrafted cocktails and a carefully chosen array of wines.

At the heart of the new menu is the California Fields Salad. This dish combines fresh watermelon and strawberries with creamy feta cheese, basil leaves, and crunchy California pistachios, all on a bed of crisp field greens. The salad is tossed with CPK’s signature Champagne vinaigrette, creating a refreshing and satisfying meal.

For dessert lovers, the Strawberry Shortcake is a must-try. This classic summer dessert has been given a unique twist with a scratch-made biscuit topped with the season’s ripest strawberries, whipped cream, and house-made candied lemon zest. For those looking to add an extra layer of flavor, a scoop of rich Vanilla Häagen-Dazs can be included.

On the beverage side, CPK introduces the Sparkling Watermelon Cooler, a non-alcoholic drink that captures the essence of summer. This cooler features freshly pureed watermelon blended with a hint of lime and topped with sparkling water, making it the perfect choice to keep cool during the warmer months.

For cocktail enthusiasts, the Summer Fruit Sangria features a blend of Belleruche Rosé, fresh lemonade, juicy strawberries, and Grey Goose Vodka. This chilled drink is garnished with summer fruits and a mint sprig, providing a cool and tasty beverage option.

CPK’s new beverage menu also includes six handcrafted cocktails that cater to various tastes. Highlights include the Bourbon Peach Smash, a balanced mix of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, peach, orange, and lemon, and the Sparkling Mojito, which combines Bacardi Superior Rum, agave sour, fresh mint, and lime topped with La Marca Prosecco. Other notable mentions are the Skinny & Spicy ‘Rita made with Casamigos Blanco Tequila, the Golden Cadillac ‘Rita featuring Don Julio Reposado, the French Martini with Grey Goose Vodka and Chambord, and the Blueberry Lemon Drop with Tito’s Handmade Vodka and zesty lemon.

Additionally, the wine selection has been updated to include a variety of California wines available by the glass or in new wine flights. White wine options feature Unshackled Sparkling Rosé by Prisoner, Emmolo by Caymus Sauvignon Blanc, Harvey & Harriet White Blend, and J. Lohr Riverstone Chardonnay. For red wine enthusiasts, choices include Bonanza by Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon and Oberon Cabernet Sauvignon.
