Personally, when I’m in St. Petersburg, I prefer to eat by the waterfront, and who wouldn’t?

Coming away at number one is none other than Woody’s Waterfront.
This place is awesome and the views of the water here are unbeatable. You’ll find this place off of Sunset Way on St. Pete Beach, right next to Sunset Park.
I always go for some seafood when I come here to Woody’s Waterfront.
They have some really delicious baskets like one that comes with fried clam strips. That one is my favorite, but there are plenty of other delicacies to try.
Another great choice for food is one of their delicious burgers. They always cook them perfectly.

I, for one, am a massive fan of ceviche, so I come here as often as I can whenever I’m in St. Pete.
Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant is a Spanish chain tapas restaurant that you can find inside the Ponce de Leon Hotel on Beach Drive, right around the corner from the St. Pete Pier and the Museum of Fine Arts.
You really don’t want to miss out on this place the next time you’re in town.

Crabby Bill’s in St. Pete Beach is another amazing waterfront restaurant near St. Petersburg that I always make a point to visit.
You can find this place off of Gulf Boulevard, just south of the Sirata Beach Resort and next to the Grand Plaza Hotel.
This is one of the best waterfront restaurants in the area because it’s nextled right into the sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico, so you get an absolutely spectacular view, especially at sunset.
When you get here, you should definitely dine on some seafood because it’s all locally caught here at Crabby Bill’s.
Sandbar Beach Bar
6100 Gulf Blvd, St Pete Beach, FL 33706
Up next, we have the Sandbar Beach Bar. They’re located inside the RumFish Beach Resort on Gulf Boulevard, so you get a fantastic view of the Gulf of Mexico.
I highly recommend coming around sunset for a picturesque view.
They have some of the best frozen drinks here at Sandbar Beach Bar. I love stopping in here after a day of soaking up the sun on St. Pete Beach for a rum runner or a pina colada.
Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, this place is a fantastic spot for lunch and dinner. Not to mention, they’re open late.
Shrimpys Blues Bistro

Shrimpys Blues Bistro is the next restaurant I want to mention.
This place provides scenic views for all its patrons. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, too, so you can enjoy that fresh Florida air.
When you get here, I recommend the daily fresh catch. You never know what it’s going to be until you ask, but it’s always something really delicious.
Check out Shrimpys Blues Bistro off of Blind Pass Road next to the St Pete Beach Dog Park, just before the bridge. They even have boat docking for any hungry mariners out there.

Fresco’s Waterfront Bistro is the next place I would like to point your attention towards.
You really don’t want to miss scenic views at this restaurant. I absolutely love this place because it’s so chill that it’s a great hangout spot.
When you come to Fresco’s Waterfront Bistro, I think you should try the lobster bisque to get you started, alongside a cocktail.
After that, definitely peruse the menu thoroughly because there are so many delicious options it can be hard to decide.
Fresco’s Waterfront Bistro is located off of 2nd Avenue Northeast, right across the street from South Straub Park.
Paradise Grille

Another favorite restaurant of mine to visit when I’m in St. Pete is called Paradise Grill.
This restaurant is unbeatable when it comes to views of the water and delicious seafood.
You can find this place off of Beach Plaza in St. Pete Beach, looking out onto the water on Pass-a-Grille Beach.
When you get here, I highly recommend trying an omelet or some French toast if you come here for breakfast.
If it’s lunch you’re after, then definitely go with a mahi sandwich or a Cuban sandwich. After you eat, be sure to take a nice stroll on the beach nearby.
Final Thoughts
