Located just minutes from Downtown St. Augustine nestled along the St. John’s River, you’ll find the Kingfish Grill Restaurant, where you can enjoy some of the best seafood in town.
The casual atmosphere here is perfect for family dining, and the waterfront views are simply breathtaking thanks to the enormous windows indoors and the spacious outdoor seating.
As a restaurant that prides itself on its fresh, delicious seafood, I highly recommend getting something fishy from the menu, including the fresh wild sea scallops, the blackened fish sandwich, or the horseradish encrusted Mahi Mahi.

You can’t get much closer to the water than a place that’s name says “on the water” and, trust me, Cap’s on the Water delivers on the views.
You can sit back and relax at the outdoor oyster bar and enjoy the stunning sunsets that make this restaurant famous.
Plus, the casual atmosphere is perfect for kicking back and enjoying a cold beer and some fresh oysters.
If you stop by for dinner, I suggest getting the Crab Louie as an appetizer and one of the fresh catch meals for your entree.
But, if you go for lunch, I’d recommend the seafood trio to share with your friends or family since it comes with fried shrimp, fried cod strips, and crab cakes.

Besides the view, it’s a great spot to bring kids and dogs since they welcome pets and have a designated san pit play area for little ones.
The chef at Beachcomber creates outstanding specials along with the daily beach menu, making it perfect for a casual meal by the sea.
When you’re here, I recommend trying the street tacos or sampling one of the daily specials since they’re often seasonally inspired.

Look no further than Beaches at Vilano, located next to the Vilano Beach Pier.
This beachfront bar and restaurant offers the best sunsets in town, not to mention a casual and welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for kicking back and enjoying a drink or bite to eat.
Plus, with live music every weekend, there’s always something fun happening here.
For food, I swear by the jerk chicken or marley burger because if you’re going to eat at a Caribbean-inspired restaurant, why not try it?

The Conch House Marina Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy some of the best Caribbean-style cooking around St. Augustine, located next to the Conch House Marina Resort on the banks of the Matanzas River.
Whether you’re dining under a palm tree on the outdoor deck or in one of our unique Jamaican-style grass huts over the water, make sure you take in the authentic nautical decor and breathtaking views.
If you’re looking for meal recommendations, I suggest trying the Minorchan conch chowder or the jerk chicken for dinner.
If you pop in for lunch, you might want to try out something lighter, like the Ahi Tuna salad or the Caribbean shrimp salad.
The Reef

You’ll find The Reef restaurant just three miles north of the Usina bridge in St. Augustine.
You’ll also find a lively outdoor atmosphere ideal for large gatherings with friends and family with drinks and good food going around.
The Reef easily has some of the greatest food in the city.
Plus, The Reef is open for Sunday brunch if you’re looking for a nice spot to enjoy breakfast and the cool breeze coming off the water.
The last time I visited The Reef, I really enjoyed the saffron mussels and the herb rubbed tuna.
The Lazy Iguana cocktail was also perfect to wash everything down.
Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grille

Located just across the street from the Matanzas River and next door to Casa Reina Taqueria & Tequila, Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grille offers stunning views and amazing creole-inspired bites.
While the restaurant is gorgeous and delicious during the day, I suggest visiting for dinner when they dim the lights and the weather cools off a bit for an enjoyable night on the town in a relaxed setting.
As far as food goes, I suggest trying Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grille’s signature crab cakes to start or Harry’s original gumbo before grabbing the chicken and shrimp creole for your entree.
