Restaurants Near New Smyrna With Waterfront Views

The most scenic spots in the city to eat by the water.

Beach (NSB), known for amazing waves for surfers, and over 13 miles of white sand, is a popular destination in central Florida.

This beach is fairly close to Orlando, and it is known for the clean and pristine Canaveral National Seashore nearby.

You can also choose to take a stroll downtown through the historic district to visit the art galleries if you’re done enjoying the beach. Either way, you’re guaranteed to enjoy yourself in NSB.

One of the best parts of vacationing in Florida is that you can find numerous waterfront restaurants with amazingly fresh seafood, excellent views, and delicious drinks within a few steps from the beach.

I’ve rounded up the top spots that are relaxing, friendly, and consistently serving outstanding meals for tourists and locals.

Check out our list of the best waterfront restaurants in New Smyrna Beach!

The Breakers Restaurant

Situated in the perfect location along New Smyrna Beach, The Breakers Restaurant is a family-friendly and casual eatery with frNew Smyrnaesh seafood and tasty drinks.

You can catch sunbathers, surfing, and a beautiful view of the ocean while enjoying a delectable meal in the popular pink building that locals love.

Go from light bites to a dip in the beach in less than 60 seconds; it doesn’t get much better than that!

Aside from the light and cozy ambiance, the customer service is spot-on. The servers are very friendly, always willing to make suggestions if you’re a newcomer.

This beachfront joint has the best burgers I’ve had in a really long time. I enjoyed the Macaroni & Cheese Bites with the Skewered Shrimp and the Chili Burger.

They also serve specialty cocktails, which are super refreshing on a hot day! The Breakers is the perfect combo of fun, sun, and good eats.

JB’s Fish Camp

JB’s Fish Camp is another fantastic waterfront restaurant you can find in NSB and one that you should head to as soon as you get into town. You can get there by car or boat which is perfect for any hungry mariners out on the water.

This place is an absolute staple of New Smyrna Beach, loved by locals and visitors alike, so be sure to check it out!

Outriggers Tiki Bar and Grille

Using locally sourced ingredients from the North Atlantic Ocean, Outriggers Tiki Bar and Grille is an upbeat tavern on the harbor.

The restaurant has a gorgeous patio and wraparound bar, and they serve comfort foods, exotic cocktails, and fresh seafood all day long.

Surrounded by palm trees and 13 miles of sandy shores, Outriggers is a premier destination for beachgoers looking for a break from the sun.

The decor is laid-back with a spacious dining area, and the whole place gives you authentic Florida vibes.

You can easily take in the view of the NSB inlet and enjoy the manatees and dolphins that frequent the shore while you sip a glass of wine and enjoy live music.

There’s also plenty of beer and unique dishes to choose from. My favorites were the House Smoked Fish Dip, Half Rack Korean Sticky Ribs, and the Smoked Pork Triangles.

The flavors were bold and well-balanced, and the meat was tender. They also allow you to bring your furry friends, which is an added bonus to an already stellar restaurant.

The Grille at Riverview

101 Flagler Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169
Phone: 386-428-1865
Visit Website

The Grille at Riverview is one of my favorite restaurants on the list because it’s upscale meets Surf ’n’ Turf.

Located inside of the Riverview Hotel, you don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to visit The Grille.

The view is spectacular, as you can watch sailors dock their boats, surfers catching waves, and children frolicking on the beach.

This location is great for romantic dinners, yet casual enough for a dinner date with friends or family.

You can choose gluten-free options if you have food allergies, which was helpful for a friend I was traveling with. They specialize in stakes, seafood, pasta, and my favorite, Sunday Brunch.

There’s also live entertainment, an attentive and courteous wait staff, and an overall pleasant experience waiting at The Grille at Riverview.

The most popular dishes are the French Onion Soup, Clam Chowder, Shrimp Scampi, Fish Tacos, and the Blackened Mahi Mahi.

River Deck Tiki Bar & Restaurant

107 N Riverside Dr, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168

Up next is River Deck Tiki Bar & Restaurant. This place was directly recommended to me by a local, so I simply had to check it out.

Gorgeous waterfront views of the Indian River North aren’t the only things this place offers. You’ll also find fresh seafood, cold drinks, and waterfront seating right there in the sand. What more could you ask for?

Toni & Joe’s Patio

309 Buenos Aires St, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169
Phone: 386-427-6850
Visit Website

Toni & Joe’s Patio offers a breathtaking view while enjoying a beautifully prepared meal. The rustic and modest decor of Toni & Joe’s works to tie together the Floridian vibes and the nautical feel when you enter.

This restaurant ranks as one of the best waterfront restaurants in Smyrna, according to locals that frequent the joint often.

The atmosphere is inviting, and you feel like you’re in an old-school cafeteria. The crowd is friendly, and the servers are always smiling.

On to the food, which is delicious and eclectic. You can get anything from a Nathan Long Hot Dog to a mouth-watering Grilled Spicy Shrimp Hoagie.

Their most famous sandwich is the Steak Hoagie, with grilled onions, tender steak, a unique blend of spices, fresh bread, and more.

The food reminds you of good times; nothing too fancy, but everything tastes good and is fresh. Finish it off with a Pina Colada, and you’re good to go!

Chases on the Beach

3401 S Atlantic Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169
Phone: 386-423-8787
Visit Website

Directly across the street from Sunisands Resort, Chases on the Beach is an establishment that boasts a lovely view of the ocean with great food and drinks.

This place focuses on high-quality seafood, has an easygoing atmosphere, and the deck with a pool are the finishing touches.

The restaurant is huge, with plenty of space to move around and mingle. There’s never a dull moment with all the entertainment and live music taking place nearby and at the bar.

Here you can find a variety of delicacies such as Oysters, Fried Calamari, Bairdi Crab Legs, Seared Ahi Tuna, and much more.

Perhaps you’re looking for something a little more subdued? You can order classics such as hot wings and pizza as well. They also have a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at your disposal.

  1. We absolutely LOVE Riverview! Amazing tempura shrimp. Beautiful setting!
Corkscrew has great food and atmosphere also.

  2. Boston’s Fish House in New Smyrna Beach has the best fried shrimp of any other restaurant there! The restaurant is laid back, their food is delicious, & their prices are reasonable. We eat there multiple times when we’re at NSB. Even though it’s not on the beach you can’t go wrong eating at Boston’s. It’s my family’s favorite place to eat!
