Florida’s Atlantic Coast is lined with world-famous attractions and gorgeous cities located directly on the water. Naturally, it’s become a massively popular destination for both visitors and people looking to become permanent residents, especially Daytona Beach, otherwise known as the World’s Most Famous Beach.

You’ll never get bored down here on Daytona Beach; this beautiful city has an extraordinarily high concentration of fun attractions for the whole family, including the world-famous Daytona International Speedway, home of the NASCAR Daytona 500. This coastal city also has the Daytona Boardwalk Amusements and the Daytona Lagoon water park, to mention a few.
Such exhilarating experiences like those, however, are a surefire way to really work up an appetite, so it’s equally important to know where to find the best restaurants in Daytona Beach, too. Luckily for you, I went ahead and put together this comprehensive guide to all of my favorite places to eat near Daytona Beach so that you’ll know exactly where to go, no matter what you’re in the mood for.

The Oyster Pub, a small corner sports bar with over 45 TVs and a long list of bar food favorites to munch on while you wet your whistle and watch the game.
Oysters are their specialty, of course, but The Oyster Pub stole my heart with their mind-blowing chicken wings. They serve their wings 10 different ways, some of which include teriyaki, bourbon BBQ, and even an “Inferno” option for the brave.
Check out The Oyster Pub on the corner of Seabreeze Boulevard and North Grandview Avenue, within walking distance to the beach and The Plaza Resort and Spa waterfront hotel.
Caribbean Jack’s
721 Ballough Rd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114

Caribbean Jack’s is a waterfront restaurant located off of Ballough Road behind the Daytona Beach Marina where you can actually pull right up on your boat to the restaurant’s dock and moor up for a delicious lunch or dinner while you keep an eye on your vessel.
Besides the convenient maritime access, the thing I love most about Caribbean Jack’s is they offer drink specials that vary based on the day of the week as well as enormous specialty cocktails that come with a souvenir glass you get to keep!
Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse
100 N Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118

Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse is a refined, upscale restaurant that has everything you need to truly treat yourself and indulge in succulent, dry-aged cuts of premium beef while taking in the picturesque waterfront view of the Atlantic Ocean.
When you come to Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, ready yourself to be enraptured by the chic ambiance paired with rich aromas of searing meat wafting from the kitchen as the entire restaurant bustles with life and laughter.
You can find Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse on the first floor of the luxurious Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort where you are encouraged to leave your inhibitions at the door and immerse yourself in a resplendent dining experience.
The Cellar Restaurant
220 Magnolia Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114

Located off of Magnolia Avenue near City Island and the Jackie Robinson Memorial Baseball Park is a place called The Cellar Restaurant where you can have an unforgettable meal at one of the best Daytona Beach restaurants.
If you are something of a wine connoisseur, then The Cellar is where you’re going to want to go to dinner in Daytona Beach; the wine menu at this eatery is incredibly extensive, featuring pages upon pages of wines from around the globe.
My favorite dishes to order from The Cellar are pretty much any of their homemade pasta, particularly the fettuccine with smoked salmon and peas in a creamy sauce.
Bay Street Seafood
141 Bay St, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
Phone: (386) 255-8650

You simply can’t come to Daytona Beach, or any of the other waterfront cities in Florida, and not order some of the phenomenal seafood that’s available⸺that would be like visiting the Louvre Museum and not seeing the Mona Lisa.
What you need to do when you’re in this city is head directly to Bay Street Seafood when you’re in the mood for something like fresh fish, crab cakes, or shrimp.
My favorite thing to order from here is their blackened mahi-mahi sandwich that comes with one of their signature sides like coleslaw, french fries, onion rings, and many more.
Dancing Avocado Kitchen
110 S Beach St, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
Phone: (386) 947-2022
Visit Website
Dancing Avocado Kitchen is located off of South Beach Street across from Riverfront Park where you can find some delightful breakfast options for when you want to really start your morning off right.
I always come here for a quick breakfast sandwich and one of their cold, refreshing fruit smoothies.
Are you vegan or vegetarian? No problem! Dancing Avocado Kitchen offers plenty of vegan and vegetarian options for most of their dishes, so there’s really something for everyone here! From plant-based meals to all-beef burgers and spam sandwiches, they cater to all diets and preferences.
Don Vito’s Italian Restaurant
137 W International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
Phone: (386) 492-7935
Visit Website
Check out this next place, Don Vito’s Italian Restaurant, off of West International Speedway Boulevard, just north of the Angell and Phelps Chocolate Factory.
Don Vito’s is an unpretentious, casual Italian joint that I love to stop by whenever I’m in the mood for some homestyle Italian comfort food.
I love their pizza the most here at Don Vito’s because all of their dough is homemade and baked in a real brick oven for that perfectly crispy crust. They also have calzones, as well, if you’re a fan of those like I am.
Sessions Restaurant
918 N Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118
Phone: (386) 947-7387
Visit Website
Head over to the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach for this next place called Sessions which I consider to be one of Daytona Beach’s best restaurants for both lunch and dinner by the water.
Sessions has an extensive and eclectic menu covering just about everything from Italian dishes like seafood fra diavolo all the way to a delectable grilled snapper with a coconut curry sauce that I highly recommend to anyone that likes curry and fresh fish.
One thing that’s really great about this place is that if you eat too much and don’t feel like leaving, you can simply rent a room in the luxurious 4-star hotel above you and stay for a few days, if you aren’t already.
Daytona Taproom
310 Seabreeze Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32118
Phone: (386) 872-3298
Head on over to the Seabreeze Historic District and look for the Daytona Taproom off of Seabreeze Boulevard where you’ll be pleasantly greeted by some absolutely mouth-watering burgers and plenty to drink.
All of the meat they use here at Daytona Taproom is 100% black Angus chuck that comes in whopping ⅓-pound patties that are grilled to your specifications.
My favorite burger to order is actually the same burger that Adam Richman devoured in an episode of Man vs. Food called “The Pig Burger” which comes topped with pulled pork, bacon, a fried egg, and onion straws.
Chart House Restaurant – Daytona Beach
1100 Marina Point Dr, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
Phone: (386) 255-9022
Visit Website
Chart House is a high-end seafood restaurant that serves nothing but the freshest, most premium fish and shellfish in the city, available for you to enjoy right on the water with a beautiful view of the Halifax River.
When you get to Chart House, I recommend ordering any of their various fish filets available such as grouper, mahi-mahi, trout, salmon, and ahi tuna which is my favorite.
After dinner, you’ll definitely want to indulge in one of their many decadently sweet treats like a hot chocolate lava cake or a slice of classic key lime pie.
