The Ultimate Guide to Miami Happy Hour

Where to find all of the greatest drink deals in the city.

When you want to go out for drinks, few cities have bars that compare to Miami, Florida. In terms of both quantity and quality, this city is unlike any other when you’re in the mood to cut loose and have some fun.

There are so many bars, taverns, pubs, and nightclubs in Miami that it’s hard to pick which place you want to go to sometimes. As a Florida local who spends a lot of time in cities all over the state, I thought I might be able to help with that a bit.

Taking the number one spot on my list of Miami happy hours to check out is a place called Mamey Miami. This restaurant serves Asian Fusion fare but also has a slamming happy hour that you can enjoy every single day from 3PM to 6PM.

The drink deals are great, you get a wide selection of $10 cocktails, $5 beers, $7 wines, and $7 spirits for 3 whole hours. The specials don’t end with drinks, though. You can also choose from a nice variety of $6 snacks like spiced fries, roasted plantains, grilled cheese, and a few more delicious options.

Uchi Miami

252 NW 25th St, Miami, FL 33127

Next up is a charming Japanese restaurant called Uchi. This one is located right in the heart of the Wynwood neighborhood near the famous Wynwood Walls outdoor art exhibit in Miami, Florida.

The happy hour deals here include all sorts of nigiri, makimono, kori kaki, and even okashi. There is also a small section of the happy hour menu full of tastings which are absolutely incredible.

Don’t forget the drinks, either. Uchi’s happy hour specials include a couple of $4 beers, $6 sakes, $8 cocktails, and half off all sparkling wine as well as champagne. My favorite cocktail was the Uchi Gin & Tonic.

Jaguar Sun

230 NE 4th St, Miami, FL 33132
Visit Website

Right next to the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus and the FTX Arena in Downtown Miami is Jaguar Sun. This cocktail bar is stylish and unique, perfect for grabbing a drink with some friends after work.

Happy hour at Jaguar sun is every day from 5PM to 7PM and it features a list of $10 classic cocktails that you’re going to love. My favorite is either the Manhattan or the daiquiri.

They do have a happy hour food special here as well. Jaguar Sun offers $1 oysters with an unbelievably tasty yuzu kosho mignonette for the perfect flavor addition to the oysters.

Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Company

237 20th St suite b, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Phone: 305-763-8217
Visit Website

Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Company is one of my favorite happy hour spots in Miami for many reasons, one of which is they serve some amazing brunch on the weekends, but the main one is the atmosphere. Although, the drink deals are a close second.

Happy hour starts at 4PM and goes until 8PM every day. That’s plenty of time to put down a few cocktails and some oysters if you ask me. Cheap drink deals here include various $9 cocktails, $5 beers, $7 wines, and even $6 mini martinis.

Check out Sweet Liberty inside Boulan South Beach hotel, right in between the Miami Beach Convention Center and Collins Park.

Kush Coconut Grove

2911 Grand Ave #400d, Coconut Grove, FL 33133

If you come and visit Miami without making the drive over to Historic Virginia Key Beach Park or Hobie Island Beach Park, then you’re doing something wrong. If you do go and visit those places while you’re here, but you don’t stop at Rusty Pelican on the way, you’re doing something really wrong.

Rusty Pelican features one of the best happy hours Miami has to offer, hands down. The menu is huge and includes deals on beer, wine, wells, and even half off a long list of food items. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday, from 4PM to 6PM in their lounge area.

Head on down to The Shops at Midtown Miami for this next place, SUGARCANE raw bar grill. This palace has all different options as far as food and drinks go, but their happy hour is where things really get interesting.

7 days a week, from 3PM to 6PM, you can indulge in SUGARCANE’s happy hour specials to go, which is great for those nights when you’d rather just stay in. For dine in, happy hour is still from 3PM to 6PM, but the deals are only available from Monday to Friday.

Deals include $8 regular cocktails and $8 beer cocktails, as well. You can also get $40 pitchers and a whole list of tasty bites for cheap!

Up next is EST. 33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen, one of my favorite places to go for happy hour in Miami, by far.

Happy hour here is Monday through Friday from 3PM to 7PM and it’s packed full of cheap drink specials. If you’re wondering what to drink at EST. 33, I’d go with one of the house-made craft brews.

My favorite beers that I tried here were the 33 Pale Ale, Legend Lager, and the Brickell Brown. If you’re indecisive, like me, I recommend grabbing a flight of beer to try a few and find one you really like.

They offer $7 cocktails, $7 frozen drinks, $6 liquors, $5 beers, and $6 glasses of wine so there’s definitely a bit of everything. The food deals are just superb, featuring great deals on things like tuna tartare, fried chicken, and so much more.

You’re going to love the enormous selection of $7 cocktails, $6 wines, and $5 beers. My favorite cocktail that I tried while I was here was the Velvet Mojito. They even have some canned cocktails available called Cool Cat spritzers. I found them to be very refreshing.

I really recommend trying their Lost Boy Sangria or their cucumber highball. There are so many delicious craft cocktails here that you could spend all night trying new ones without having the same one  twice.

Monty’s Raw Bar is always my go-to spot when I’m in the mood for happy hour drinks and some live music. This place is like the ultimate tiki bar here in Miami and it’s located right on the water.

Every day from Monday to Friday, starting at 4PM and ending at 7PM, you can get cheap happy hour drinks and food. They have oysters, peel & eat shrimp, and stone crab claws depending on the time of year.

The specials here include $6 select cocktails, frozen drinks, and various wines; $5 well drinks and craft beers; $4 imports and $3 domestic drafts. What more could you ask for?

The Sylvester

3456 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33127
Phone: 305-364-5635
Visit Website

The Sylvester is one of my favorite places to get drinks near Miami, mainly due to the convenient location and quirky atmosphere, but also because of the quality of their mixology.

They call it Rush Hour here at The Sylvester and boy is it the time to stop by. The prices actually fluctuate by the hour here at The Sylvester, which is interesting, but for the most part, happy hour is from 5PM to 8PM with a “power hour” somewhere in there.

Come here between Wednesday and Sunday to take advantage of all their cheap drink deals and maybe even grab a bite to eat.

Bar Nancy

Next up, we’re heading to the Little Havana part of Miami to a place called Bar Nancy. They’re located right off of Southwest 8th Street, just west of the Calle Ocho Walk of Fame.

Bar Nancy has live music all the time, so if you need a place to go and get a drink while you jam out to some music, this is it. Happy hour is every day that they’re open, from 4PM to 7PM, plenty of time to tie one on.

I recommend the Donkey Punch made with Smirnoff, hibiscus, ginger beer, lime, and mint. It’s wonderfully refreshing.

Just east of the Midpoint shopping mall on Northeast 79th Street in the Upper East Side neighborhood is a place called The Anderson serving up one of the best happy hours in Miami.

Happy hour starts at 5PM and goes until 8PM every single day here at The Anderson, so no need to plan that far ahead, just stop on any day of the week. The deals here include $4 beers, $4 shots, $6 cocktails, and $6 spirits.

This place has the best selection of Mexican beers that I’ve ever seen. It’s always really refreshing to see something other than just Corona for a change.

If you want to come here for happy hour, you’ll have to do so from Wednesday to Friday only, from 5PM to 7PM. They specialize in vintage cocktails like a Sidecar, Tom Collins, and a Sazerac⸺all of which are timeless classics.

My favorite part about Batch is that the specials are different every day of the week. They have a whiskey Wednesday with %50 off select whiskeys, Thursdays are for $5 infused spirits and Batch Black Barrel Beer, and ladies drink free on Fridays from 10PM to 1AM. That’s just a few of the days, too!

Check out Batch Gastropub off of Southwest 12th Street inside the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Brickell Downtown, perfect for anyone staying in the area.

Last, but definitely not least, is Butcher Shop Beer Garden, an absolute haven for beer lovers all over Miami.
