Our favorite spots serving up weekend brunch.

Panama City is known far and wide across the country for pristine beaches and just being an overall great place to come and party.

There’s Panama City Beach where you can go fish and soak up the sun, or you can check out ZooWorld Zoological Park and Ripleys Believe It or Not!

There’s really no end to the fun here in Panama City, and it’s really only just beginning when you start thinking about where to eat.

I’ve scoured Panama City from top to bottom in search of all the best places to eat my favorite midday meal: brunch.

To me, there’s nothing like a massive plate of French toast or some classic eggs Benedict to really get your day started off right. Throw in a mimosa or a bloody Mary and I’m all in.

You’ll find everything you could want for both breakfast and lunch whether it’s donuts and coffee or crepes and mimosas.

I guarantee you’ll find something to satisfy your craving.

Dat Cajun Place

2705 Thomas Dr, Panama City, FL 32408

Starting off at the number-one spot on my list of best Panama City brunch spots is Dat Cajun Place. Dat Cajun Place is an amazing place to grab brunch on Sunday.

This restaurant offers all the classic brunch foods you could ever want with a little bit of a Cajun twist.

My favorite thing to order from Dat Cajun Place is the fried chicken and waffles, but they also have something called Dat Benedict that consists of eggs Benedict only with a fresh crawfish cake instead of ham.

It’s unbelievably good and I would highly recommend either of those dishes.

Andy’s Flour Power

2629 Thomas Dr, Panama City, FL 32408
Phone: 850-230-0014
Visit Website

Coming in at a close second is Andy’s Flour Power right next door to Dat Cajun Place.

Andy’s is a charming bakery with some of the best baked goods in town and probably the next town over, too.

Andy’s Flour Power is open at 7 am every single day, so you can always count on them to get your morning going in the right direction.

My go-to order from Andy’s is a breakfast martini to kick things off with, and then I usually go for a bacon and cheddar rolled omelet which is one of the things they’re known best for.

Liza’s Kitchen

7328 Thomas Dr UNIT L, Panama City, FL 32408
Phone: 850-233-9000
Visit Website

Next up is Liza’s Kitchen located off of Thomas Drive, right across the street from Rick Seltzer Park.

Liza’s Kitchen is a delightful little counter-serve spot where you can get delicious breakfast and brunch foods. Also, be sure to check and see what their soup of the day is.

My favorite foods to order from Liza’s are the hot turkey specialty sandwich and the cold muffaletta.

Those are just two of the many delectable options to choose from here at Liza’s Kitchen, however, so don’t be afraid to branch out and try something new.

Thomas Donut & Snack Shop

19208 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413
Phone: 850-234-8039

Thomas Donut & Snack Shop is undoubtedly one of the greatest brunch spots in the whole city and I strongly suggest stopping here at least once during your time in the area.

Thomas Donut & Snack Shop has been open since 1971 with no signs of slowing down, so you know they must be doing something right.

My favorite things to order from Thomas Donut & Snack Shop are obviously the donuts.

My favorite are the cake donuts, but they have the classic raised donuts as well. Be sure to ask about their specialty donuts, too, since they are always coming up with new tasty concoctions.

Another Broken Egg Cafe

11535 Hutchison Blvd Ste 100 Ste 100, Panama City Beach, FL 32407
Phone: 850-249-2007
Visit Website

Up next is a restaurant that’s made our lists before and it’s really easy to see why once you go there and try the food.

It’s called Another Broken Egg Cafe and it’s the ideal way to brighten up your day.

Another Broken Egg Cafe is located off of Hutchinson Boulevard just past the Shoppes at Edgewater shopping mall and Shipwreck Island Waterpark, so it’s perfect for grabbing a bite to eat in between fun attractions in Panama City.

I always recommend a house-infused bloody Mary from Another Broken Egg Cafe, but there are so many other great cocktails to try on their menu too.

Gypsea Crepes

7012 Thomas Dr, Panama City Beach, FL 32408
Phone: 850-588-7531
Visit Website

Gypsea Crepes is a funky and chill spot to grab brunch when you’re in Panama City that is always worth stopping by when you want something casual and comforting.

Gypsea Crepes is located off of Thomas Drive near the Holiday Beach neighborhood, so if you’re staying at a condominium or hotel in the area, this is where you should get brunch.

I always opt for the crepes here (duh).

They have both savory and sweet crepes, but I am more of a savory kind of person. They even offer a whole selection of vegetarian crepes, too!

Jesse’s Place

7008 Thomas Dr, Panama City, FL 32408
Phone: 850-708-1356

Up next is Jesse’s spot, a super-lowkey breakfast and brunch spot located off of Thomas Drive, right across the street from various waterfront condos.

When you get to Jesse’s Spot, you’ll notice it’s very laid-back and casual, which is exactly what I look for when I want a nice, quiet brunch.

I am a huge fan of their country-fried steak, as well as the breakfast burrito, but the menu is anything but small, so you’re pretty much guaranteed to find something you like.

Jesse’s really has the perfect family diner feel to it that keeps me coming back all the time.

Sunrise Cafe & Bakery

10616 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32407
Phone: 850-588-6795
Visit Website

Next up is Sunrise Cafe & Bakery that’s located off of Front Beach Road, right across the street from Ocean Villa Condos and the Ocean Ritz where you’re just within walking distance of the PCB public beach access 36.

When you get to Sunrise Cafe & Bakery, I strongly recommend trying something from their European menu.

It’s full of interesting options that you might not find anywhere else nearby.

My favorite thing to order for brunch from Sunrise is a hash brown bowl, but you can also order it with grits instead. Either one is sure to have you full and ready for the day.

Taylor’s Breakfast and Lunch

1114 Thomas Dr, Panama City Beach, FL 32408
Phone: 850-249-5200
Visit Website

Up next is Taylor’s Breakfast and Lunch.

This place is located over on Thomas Drive, right in front of the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Panama City Beach.

What I love most about Taylor’s is the fact that they open up at 7 am every day, so if you’re an early bird who gets hungry first thing in the morning, then this is the place for you, but the brunch is really what steals the show.

You gotta go with either the buttermilk pancakes or one of their amazing omelettes when you come to Taylor’s.

Neither one of those dishes has ever disappointed me.

Fatty Patty’s

948 Thomas Dr, Panama City Beach, FL 32408
Phone: 850-236-9276
Visit Website

This next place is called Fatty Patty’s and if you’ve never been to this place for brunch in Panama City, then you’re really doing yourself a disservice.

You can find Fatty Patty’s over on Thomas Drive, directly across from the naval base.

When you get here, I highly recommend trying the breakfast casserole if you’re really hungry like I always am.

If you want a real treat, though, come in on a Saturday or Sunday for their eggs Benedict.

One other cool thing about Fatty Patty’s is that you can order custom desserts like wedding cakes and all sorts of other baked goods!

First Watch

11160 Panama City Beach Pkwy Suite 409, Panama City Beach, FL 32407
Phone: 850-234-5700
Visit Website

First Watch is a great place to grab brunch pretty much no matter what city you’re in.

This chain is always trustworthy and never lets me down, serving up fresh and local ingredients in their food.

You’ll find this location right inside the aptly named Breakfast Point Marketplace, right off of Panama City Beach Parkway next to the Publix Super Market.

When you get here, I highly recommend trying the trifecta breakfast dish with one of their massive blueberry pancakes.

It also comes with 2 eggs and bacon as well, so you better bring a big appetite!

Final Thoughts

It’s always brunch time down here in Panama City as you can see.

When you’re visiting PCB and you’re craving some tasty brunch foods, this guide should point you in the right direction. Just be sure to come to these places on an empty stomach!
