Where to Get Brunch in Fort Myers This Weekend

Where to find your breakfast and lunch favorites like avocado toast, omelets, and iced coffee.

There’s no place like Fort Myers, Florida to visit for a bit of a tropical getaway from daily life.

The golf courses, shopping malls, and beaches are unmatched in both beauty and quantity. It’s easy to see how this small coastal city became such a tourism hotspot.

Having grown up in Fort Myers, one thing I’ve gotten to know very well about this city is the restaurant scene. I’ve been to just about every restaurant in town.

Some of my favorite places to eat in Fort Myers are actually the restaurants that serve brunch. After all, who doesn’t love eggs benedict and a mimosa?

If you’re like me and you love brunch, then this article is for you. I put together a locals guide to all the best bruch spots in the city.

Best Brunch in Fort Myers

CRaVE Restaurant

12901 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33919

Visit Website

Taking the number one spot on my list of best brunch in Fort Myers is CRaVE Restaurant. This place is unique and fun, with some of the most delicious brunch menu items that you can find anywhere in town.

The omelettes are what really shine here in my opinion. There are so many to choose from with so many combinations of proteins and ingredients. The possibilities are endless.

Check out CRaVE Restaurant across from The Landings on McGregor Boulevard, right inside the Bridge Plaza shopping mall. There’s plenty to do in the area so this is a great place to stop for brunch.

ARTISAN EATERY

8951 Daniels Pkwy, Fort Myers, FL 33912

Right off of Daniels Parkway in between Dunkin’ and Starbucks is another amazing brunch spot called ARTISAN EATERY. This restaurant has amazing brunch foods in a cozy, casual environment.

Brunch is served on the weeknds here at ARTISAN EATERY, so definitely make some plans to get yourself a tasty midday meal this Sunday. I always recommend the Monte Cristo sandwich for anyone grabbing brunch here.

If that’s a bit too sweet for you, there are plenty of other options on their menu to choose from. They have an artisan breakfast burrito as well that’s simply amazing.

Slates restaurant

4820 Candia St, Cape Coral, FL 33904

Up next is Slates Restaurant. Everyone needs to come here to try their delicious brunch menu. It’s loved by locals and visitors alike

Slates Restaurant is right over the bridge in Cape Coral off of Candia Street, just past the Winn-Dixie and the Vision Ace Hardware. It’s a bit tucked away, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

When you come to Slates Restaurant, be sure to try one of their delectable eggs benedicts, but there’s so much more on their menu.

I am also a huge fan of just coming and and ordering the omelette of the day, so whatever the chef picks is what I’ll be eating that day.

Cork Soakers Deck & Wine Bar

837 SE 47th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33904

This is my 100-word restaurant description. It’s important to write about the type of cuisine they serve.

Write about where this restaurant is located, the neighborhood, landmarks nearby, cross streets, etc. It’s important to give the reader a sense of where the restaurant is located.

Check the About page on the restaurant website, do they have a well-known chef? Mention that. Mention the restaurant vibe – upscale, trendy, laidback, casual?

Here you should write about dishes you recommend trying – are there any that people mention often in the reviews? Do they have specials on certain nights of the week?

If your article is about brunch, mention brunch menu items and specials. If your article is about Mexican restaurants, make sure you call out Mexican cuisine on the menu.

Wisteria Tea Room & Cafe

2512 Second St, Fort Myers, FL 33901
Phone: 239-689-4436
Visit Website

Up next is Wisteria Tea Room & Cafe. This place is so charming and relaxing that it’s the perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Th Wisteria Tea Room & Cafe specializes in teas, coffee, scones, and various small snacks that make for a delightful brunch. The food is all very light here, so it’s not exactly where you’d come for a large meal.

That being said, you can still get some absolutely mind-blowing quiches, tarts, sandwiches, and salads. You can even purchase loose-leaf tea to take home with you if you find one that you really like.

First Watch

First Watch is up next and this place is a tried-and-true favorite of mine in any city. The food here is unbelievably tasty and the best part is that it’s locally-sourced and of the highest quality.

My go-to meal here at First Watch is usually the Trifecta breakfast. I get mine with a massive blueberry pancake, two eggs over-medium, and bacon strips. If I’m feeling extra-hungry, though, I’ll get two extra eggs to go with it.

There are lots of convenient First Watch locations in Fort Myers, but the one I like the best is off of McGregor Boulevard in the Design Center shopping mall.

McGregor Cafe

4305 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33901
Phone: 239-936-1771
Visit Website

This next place on my list is going to come as no surprise to any other locals who might be reading this. The Mcgregor Cafe is well-known and well-loved in Fort Myers, for very good reason.

If you’re looking for delicious brunch in Fort Myers, you’ll find it here. I really enjoy the classic breakfast sandwich when I come to Mcgregor Cafe for brunch, but they have biscuits and gravy that are simply to-die-for.

Definitely check this place out off of McGregor Boulevard, just north of the Veterans Memorial bridge, tucked away among the residential homes in the area.

Fancy’s Southern Cafe

8890 Salrose Ln #101, Fort Myers, FL 33912
Phone: 239-561-2988
Visit Website

Fancy’s Southern Cafe is up next and this one is sure to please when it comes to delicious Fort Myers brunch. You can find this place off of Salrose Lane next to Two Meatballs in the Kitchen.

I absolutely love this place and I think you will too. They have seriously perfected all of the down-home Southern fare that I can’t get enough of, especially when it comes to brunch.

I highly recommend the chicken and waffles, but the menu is not small, so there’s plenty of other things to choose from if that doesn’t suit you.

Oasis Restaurant

2260 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33901
Phone: 239-334-1566

Next up is Oasis Restaurant. You can find this place off of Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, just east of the Miller Griffin Memorial Kiwanis Park. I always come here whenever I get a chance.

They serve up some really wonderful 3-egg omelettes here at Oasis, but that’s just where the deliciousness begins.

They also have some other delicacies like frittatas, corned beef hash, breakfast quesadillas, and much more.

There’s bound to be something for everyone here at Oasis, just be sure to get here before 3 PM while they’re still serving up their delicious breakfast foods.

Bayfront Bistro

4761 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931
Phone: 239-463-3663
Visit Website

The next restaurant I want to point your attention towards is called Bayfront Bistro. This is one of the nicest restaurants on the list, actually, and I highly recommend coming here for an incredible weekend brunch.

Bayfront Bistro is the perfect place to come when you want an upscale brunch experience with waterfront views.

Not to mention, if you’re on a boat, you can tie up to their dock to come ashore and get something tasty.

Check out Bayfront Bistro on Estero Boulevard the next time you’re near Fort Myers Beach. You definitely will not regret it!

The Gathering Place

8359 Beacon Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907
Phone: 239-425-2626
Visit Website

This last restaurant that I want to mention is called The Gathering Place. There’s nowhere else like this in town that I know of, so this one is a must-visit.

The Gathering Place is a quaint little breakfast spot off of Beacon Boulevard in the Beacon Executive Suites building. It’s a bit hard to find, but don’t give up because you don’t want to skip this one.

This wonderful restaurant has a massiv menu with everything from croissants to tostadas and all sorts of goodies in between. I highly recommend the chicken and avocado breakfast toastada.

Final Thoughts
