Clearwater is a city on Florida’s Gulf Coast that’s known for pristine beaches and the clear waterways that give the city its name.

Of course, there’s so many other things to do down here that it’s no surprise why this city is such a tourism hotspot.
What really captured my heart when I went to Clearwater, though, was the restaurant scene. You can get all sorts of cuisine that there’s something for everyone.
My favorite part was going out to brunch. The brunch scene around Clearwater is unmatched. Keep on reading to learn more!

I want to start things off on the right foot with Island Way Grill. This restaurant has one of my favorite brunch menus with all sorts of delicious items.
What I love about Island Way Grill almost as much as the food is their location. You can find Island Way Grill off of Island Way, right next to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. It’s the perfect place to grab brunch before checking out all the amazing aquarium exhibits.
Brunch is only served here on Sundays at Island Way Grill, but that’s how it should be, in my opinion.
SEA-GUINI
430 S Gulfview Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33767

SEA-GUINI is the next place I want to mention when it comes to all the fantastic places to eat brunch in Clearwater.
Definitely check out SEA-GUINI over off of south Gulfview Boulevard inside of the luxurious Opal Sands Resort.
Even if you’re not staying at the hotel in which SEA-GUINI is located, you should still come here for brunch at least once while you’re in the area.
Breakfast foods are served here from 8 AM to 11 AM every day, so it’s going to be an early brunch here at SEA-GUINI, but the food and waterfront location are both spectacular.
Clear Sky Cafe
490 Mandalay Ave Ste 1, Clearwater, FL 33767

Next up is Clear Sky Cafe and this place is not one that you want to pass up on when you’re in Clearwater looking for brunch. Clear Sky Cafe is located over off of Mandalay Avenue inside The Residences at Sandpearl condominiums.
I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re staying nearby in a hotel or in the condo complex.
My favorite brunch menu items from Clear Sky Cafe are the waffles and the beignets. Both of these are such delightfully sweet treats and great ways to start your day, but there are plenty of other options too.
Wildflower Cafe
1465 S Ft Harrison Ave #105, Clearwater, FL 33756

Wildflower Cafe is the next brunch spot on my list. You’re going to love this one just as much as I do, hopefully.
Wildflower Cafe is not far from Belleair Country Club golf course and it’s located off of South Fort Harrison Avenue. If you’re in the area, then this is definitely somewhere you need to stop.
I recommend the deep dish quiche to anyone planning on coming to this charming little cafe for brunch, but be sure to get one of their mimosas or bloody marys as well. After all, who doesn’t love a boozy brunch every now and then?
Caretta on the Gulf
1738, 500 Mandalay Ave #100, Clearwater, FL 33767
Phone: 727-674-4171
Caretta on the Gulf could not be more properly named, thanks to its scenic location nestled right into the soft sugar sands of Clearwater Beach on Mandalay Avenue inside the Sandpearl Resort.
I love coming here even if I’m not staying at the resort, but that’s always a great idea too. I love Caretta on the Gulf for their brunch menu because it features a crab cake benedict that’s unlike any other I’ve ever had.
Definitely check out Caretta on the Gulf the next time you’re in the area. You definitely won’t be disappointed with the food or the atmosphere.
Crabby’s Beachwalk Bar & Grill
333 S Gulfview Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33767

This next place is called Crabby’s Beach Bar & Grill. Crabby’s holds a special place in my heart because of how wonderful every brunch experience is when I pay them a visit.
They really put their all into making sure you have a good time. The menu is fantastic as well.
Hands down, my favorite part is the bloody bar they have. You won’t find a better selection of bloody marys in town, including their delectable michelada.
As for food, everything on their menu is a surefire option. Just grab yourself a drink to sip on while you look it over.
Marina Cantina
25 Causeway Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33767
Phone: 727-443-1750
Visit Website
Marina Cantina is another great waterfront restaurant with a spectacular brunch menu that locals and visitors alike have come to love.
It’s a great place to stop for brunch before heading out on a fishing charter next door at Queen Fleet Deep Sea Fishing.
When you come to Marina Cantina, you should definitely sit on their rooftop deck for a great view of the marina.
When it comes to food, I recommend the huevos rancheros all day long. Of course, they have lots of other options, though like tres leches French toast that you won’t find anywhere else.
SHOR American Seafood Grill
301 S Gulfview Blvd, Clearwater Beach, FL 33767
Phone: 727-373-4780
SHOR American Seafood Grill is up next and this place is simply a fixture of Clearwater. Seriously, no trip to town is complete without grabbing brunch here.
I recommend starting with some of their creole shrimp toast as an appetizer, but be sure you’ve got a mimosa or something to sip on. Either that, or you can get a whole flight of them!
The entrees are phenomenal here. I am a huge fan of the breakfast burger. If you want something sweeter, though, you should try the pancakes. No matter what you order, it’s bound to be delicious.
Ryan’s Island Cafe
432 Poinsettia Ave, Clearwater Beach, FL 33767
Phone: 727-240-4799
Visit Website
This next brunch restaurant is called Ryan’s Island Cafe and this is not one you want to miss. If you’re looking for one of the best brunches in Clearwater, then this is it.
Ryan’s Island Cafe is located off of Poinsetta Avenue, not far from Pier 60 Clearwater and the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa. There’s no shortage of fun things to do in the area.
I love coming here for brunch because they have some o the absolute best breakfast sandwiches around. Definitely give Ray’s Croissant a try, or you can go for Janet’s Breakfast Bowl.
Flying with Jerome
1469 S Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764
Phone: 727-315-4925
Visit Website
Flying with Jerome is up next and this one will really make you feel like your soaring. The brunch here is so fantastic that it’s making my mouth water just to write this.
Flying with Jerome is a French restaurant, so there’s a few things here that you know are going to be delicious.
Omelettes and croissants are the way to go here, if you ask me. I always recommend the croque croissant or the caprese croissant.
Check out Flying with Jerome off of South Belcher Road, right across from Big Lots and John’s Fresh Produce Market.
Lenny’s Restaurant
21220 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33765
Phone: 727-799-0402
Visit Website
Last, but not least, is Lenny’s Restaurant. Lenny’s is located over off of US Highway 19. You’ll find it right beside the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Clearwater Central and the Terrace Garden Inn.
When you get to Lenny’s Restaurant, I recommend going for one of Lenny’s Bennies. They have all sorts of unique creations like the chicken waffle benedict, the crab benedict, and many more.
It’s tough to choose what you want from the brunch menu here, so I recommend a fresh cup of coffee to sip on while you peruse it and find exactly what you’re in the mood for.
Final Thoughts
Clearwater is so much more than a small beach town. There’s no shortage of amazing places to eat, especially when you’re looking for a delightful midday meal. Bonus points if you throw in a mimosa or a bloody mary!
If you’re not in the mood for brunch in Clearwater, check out some other amazing restaurants in town!
