Established in 1974 under the name JC Dobbs, the venue transcended the typical definition of a classic rock bar. Inside the walls, Philadelphians and guests from all over have had reveled in some of the greatest moments in rock and roll history. Whether it was the emergence of local talent or the launch of international stardom, Dobbs is a legendary part of Philadelphia.

The Dobbs stage has seen the likes of Green Day, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Bo Diddley, The Smashing Pumpkins, Soul Asylum, Rage Against The Machine, The Offspring, and countless more.
