Melita’s Greek Cafe & Market is on the corner of Lincoln Street and E 11th Ave in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. This spot features outstanding Greek food at a reasonable price. The food here is authentic. I ordered the lamb gyro wrap, and it tasted like I was eating it on the streets of Athens. The pita was soft and fluffy, and the lamb was perfectly cooked. Melita’s is the place for you if you’re looking for a quick, tasty, and affordable Greek meal.

Pete’s Kitchen is on the corner of East Colfax Ave and Race Street in the City Park West neighborhood of Denver. It is close to the City Park, Cheesman Park, and the Denver Botanical Gardens. It is the perfect place to visit after a nice walk in the park. I ordered the Greek omelet, and it was fantastic. It came with feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly, and the flavors all blended perfectly. The omelet also came with a side of delicious home fries. I would order this again.

You can find Chef Zorba’s at 12th Ave and Clayton Street. It is directly east of Cheeseman Park and the Denver Botanical Gardens. This friendly and down-to-earth restaurant has a wide variety on its menu, but I love its appetizers. The chicken lemon rice soup is incredible. It is light but filling and has the perfect amount of flavor. The dolma (stuffed grape leaves) are also very good. They are hearty and filling without being too heavy.

Lookin Good Restaurant and Lounge are on the corner of West 1st Ave and Sheridan Boulevard in the Barnum West neighborhood. Lookin Good is the best Greek lunch spot in Denver. In addition to a wide variety of salads and sandwiches, they also serve up the best Souvlaki sandwich I think I’ve ever had. The pork is marinated and grilled to perfection. It comes with a toasted pita with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and tzatziki sauce. It is an explosion of flavor in your mouth.

The Monaco Inn Restaurant serves up authentic home-cooked Greek food. You can find this delightful little restaurant on the corner of East Tennessee Ave and South Monaco Parkway in the Washington Virginia Vale. This restaurant opened in 1986, and happy diners have been coming here ever since to get their fix of Greek food. I highly recommend the Greek dinners. The roasted leg of lamb is incredible. The lamb is tender and juicy and falls right off the bone. It is served with potatoes, green beans, and a delicious Greek salad.

If you are carving some fluffy and delicious Greek pastries, the Omonoia Baker on the corner of East Colfax Ave and Detroit Street is the perfect place to visit. This bakery is next to Denver East High School and has the most delicate Greek pastries in Denver. I ordered the kataifi, which is shredded phyllo dough wrapped around a filling of nuts and soaked in honey syrup. It was light, fluffy, and delicious. I also ordered the baklava, which was flaky and sweet—the perfect end to a fantastic meal. I wish I could try all of their pastries.

Yahya’s Mediterranean Grill & Pastries gives Omonia bakery a run in the pastry department. Yahya’s is on North Gaylord Street and East Colfax Ave. In addition to serving up Greek food, Yahya’s also features food from all over the Mediterranean, including Turkish food. Yahya’s is a great place to visit if you want a wider variety of Mediterranean food. The Baklava at Yahya’s is some of the best I’ve ever had. It is flaky and sweet with just incredible. The Lamb Shank was also unbelievable. It was fall-off-the-bone tender and just oozing with flavor.

Crave Mediterranean Grill will cure your cravings. This family-owned and operated restaurant uses family recipes and the freshest ingredients to keep its customers coming back over and over. This restaurant is on the corner of South Colorado Blvd and East Tennessee Ave in the Belcaro neighborhood. Crave serves up some incredible freshly baked pies. My personal favorites are the cheese and spinach pies. The flaky phyllo dough wrapped around the flavorful filling is to die for. Plus, the smell when you walk in is incredible.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is one of the top new and emerging chain restaurants in the United States. This award is well deserved. The food is incredible, and so is the service. I ordered the lamb shank, and it was fall-off-the-bone tender. The Greek salad was also very fresh and had a great flavor. The pita bread was soft and fluffy. It is easy to see why this is one of the best Greek restaurants in Denver.

This restaurant is a steakhouse and greek restaurant. It features authentic homemade Greek food and an incredible atmosphere. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are, and the extensive use of locally grown produce adds a nice touch. I recommend charcoal-grilled pork chops. They are some of the best I’ve ever had. The steak is also delicious.
