Where to Get Amazing Sushi in Columbus

Columbus, the capital of Ohio, is known to have some amazing food and restaurant scene. Though there’s so many places and cuisines to try, if I had to pick just one, I’d recommend checking out one of the great sushi restaurants in town. With plenty of special rolls, combos, and even boat specials, there’s so much to love at these spots. I’ve put together a list of my favorites sushi places in town so you can try them too.

Sushi Nigiri Sushi Rolls

From sushi only spots, to others with a full Japanese cuisine menu, these spots are great for everyone, even if they don’t like sushi itself. With several causal spots as well as some more sophisticated ones, this list will provide a spot for every occasion. Keep reading to learn a bit about each restaurant!

As a market-based sushi restaurant, Sushi Ten is a spot you won’t want to miss. This local restaurant serves rolls, poke, and other sushi classics. With hundreds of reviews raving about the food, service, and staff, it’s no wonder people like it here.

There’s so much to choose from on the Sushi Ten menu, so there should be something for everyone. We recommend the spicy California roll, jumbo spicy shrimp, tempura dragon, or crunch Philly. Be sure to check out the party trays as well!

SUSHI EN’s menu is pretty extensive, so if you can’t decide what to order, we recommend the pork katsu don, last samurai roll, crawfish inferno, or sober monkey roll. Be sure to visit for happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday for 1/2 off rolls!

Much like many of the other spots on this list, Oshio has options for sushi lovers and those who shy away from the dish alike. We recommend the pork ramen, cherry blossom roll, katsudon, or summer roll. Be sure to come by for happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday!

Kooma Sushi Restaurant’s menu is complete with every roll you can imagine. We recommend the shrimp yaki-soba, 2004 roll, bulgogi, or stinger roll. Be sure to come by for happy hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday for half-off rolls!
