Luckily, this place has built quite the restaurant scene. I know it can be hard to find specific cuisines in certain towns, for example, seafood. So, I’ve put together a list of my favorite seafood spots in the area so you can try them for yourself.
From casual places to sophisticated, high-end restaurants for a fancy night out, there’s a spot for every occasion on this list. And with unique twists on the classics at each spot, there’s plenty of different flavors to try. Keep reading to learn a bit about each place!

Though it may be easy to miss in its small strip mall location near Anheuser-Busch Sports Park, Kai’s Crab Boil is a spot you won’t want to skip out on when it comes to seafood in Columbus. Serving lobster, crab, and crawfish boils, there’s plenty of delicious food at this spot.
The menu at Kai’s Crab Boil is pretty straightforward and easy to order from. We recommend the gulf combo, the New England, hand-breaded shrimp basket, or build your own boil. Be sure to grab a cocktail or two to wash it all down!

When you want to have the most elegant night out in Columbus, look no further than Mitchell’s Ocean Club. This upscale restaurant offers seafood alongside prime steaks and over 50 different wine selections. With a piano bar and great service, you’ll never want to leave.
In addition to the seafood and steak entrees, you’ll also find sushi rolls at Mitchell’s Ocean Club. We recommend the prime roll, Alaskan king crab legs, ribeye, or Florida grouper. Be sure to try one of their club cocktails!

As the name may suggest, McCormick & Shcmick’s Seafood & Steaks is the perfect spot to grab some seafood and prime steaks in town. This spot is actually a chain, and provides an upscale and clubby environment for you to enjoy a meal.
McCormick & Schmick’s menu is fairly extensive, so if you’re having a hard time making up your mind, be sure to try the Chesapeake buttermilk fried shrimp, center cut filet mignon, bourbon glazed salmon, or American kobe style burger. Don’t forget the seasonal cheesecake or classic creme brulee for dessert!
