I’m sure you’re imagining run of the mill restaurants with good ole’ American cuisine, but believe it or not, the restaurants here are full of culture. Specifically, you can find a variety of traditional Indian food restaurants with all of your favorite dishes.
On a recent trip to Columbus, I made it my mission to try as many restaurants as possible. Whether you’re looking for the classics, food from a specific region, or traditional street food, these restaurants have it all. With classy, sit-down spots and more casual places, you’ll find a location for every occasion on my list. There’s also options for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters alike at these spots. The menu at New India Restaurant is filled with traditional dishes as well as gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. We recommend the chicken korma, lamb vindaloo, saag paneer, or chicken tikka masala. Be sure to grab a lassi or dessert to end your meal on a sweet note!

Awadh India Restaurant’s menu is fairly extensive, so everyone will be able to find something they love here. Be sure to try the tandoori shrimp, palak paneer, goat bhuna masala, or chettinad chicken curry. Don’t forget to check out their dessert menu!

The menu at Dosa Corner looks a bit different than that of a typical Indian restaurant, as the selections are more unique. Be sure to try the vegetable pullav, potato curry poori, dosa thali, or special onion and chili uthappam!
