In addition, the neighborhood’s iconic arches over High Street give Columbus its “The Arch City” nickname.

Nestled in the Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph Hotel, overlooking Goodale Park, is The Guild House, a rustic yet chic eatery offering tasty seasonal dishes for everyone to enjoy. They also have a private dining room for smaller gatherings.

Several of their menu items offer gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly modifications. I recommend sampling their Lobster & Eggs, Smoked Chicken Hash, Truffled Eggs, or Pancakes with a side of fresh fruit or shagbark grits. You can also customize an omelet with the protein, garnishes, and cheese of your liking.

Although I love their Bloody Mary, I recommend trying their Espresso or zero-proof Carrot Sunrise to enhance your meal.

If you’re treating your friends to brunch, consider starting with a Pimento Cheese Dip. After that, consider trying their Sweet Potato Hash, Ham and Cheese Scone, Cloud Nine Pancakes, or Chopped Salad with a house-made breakfast sausage on the side.

I typically order a Red Sangria, Cranberry Juice, or Bloody Maria whenever I stop by for brunch. Don’t forget to treat yourself to their rotating weekly cheesecake.

Standard Hall is a hip, industrial-chic American eatery offering quality Southern comfort fare for anyone interested in brunch in Short North, Ohio.

It’s 15 minutes north of Goodale Park. It’s one of the best brunch restaurants offering scratch-made menu items and craft cocktails. You can also enjoy your meal on their patio.

I love starting with their Mini Corn Dogs or Sweet Pretzel Bites. After that, I usually order their Mild Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit, Breakfast Pizza, Fish Sandwich, or Boneless Breaded Hot Wings. Don’t forget to stop by their Bloody Bar and craft a DIY Bloody Mary or try their Blueberry Crush cocktail.

About half a mile north of the Greater Columbus Convention Center stands Arch City Tavern. This casual, rustic neighborhood pub offers tempting brunch specials if you stop by on the weekends before coming back later for elevated bar bites and craft beer.

Arch City Tavern’s weekend brunch menu changes week to week, so you should consider stopping by often to sample each of their options.

During my last few visits to this restaurant, I had their Cajun Shrimp & Grits, Huevos Rancheros, Pulled Pork Skillet, and Stuffed Burrito. Don’t forget to enjoy their rotating brunch special with their house Bloody Mary or Mimosa.

Last but not least on my list of the top restaurants offering brunch in Short North is Bristol Republic, located minutes away from Columbus Aquatics Center and Thompson Park.

This rustic BBQ restaurant is the best place to enjoy a Southern-style brunch during the weekends. They also have live music on Saturdays.

Don’t miss out on their Hickory Smoked Wings, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Cowboy Benedict, or Chicken & Waffles with a side of Brisket Baked Beans, Cheddar Cornbread, or Breakfast Potatoes.

Although I love their Bristol Bloody and Foggy Mornin’ cocktails, you should consider trying their bottomless Bloody Mary when dining with friends.

As you can see, there are several restaurants offering quality brunch in Short North to start your day right during your stay in Columbus.
