Enjoy some prime cuts at these spots around Cleveland.

Located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Erie, Cleveland, Ohio, is one of the hidden gems of what used to be the Northwest Territories.

Known as Forest City, Cleveland is home to beautiful architecture, art, museums, and multiple professional sports teams.

For years, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has been bringing in visitors. And the famous house from A Christmas Story still stands on West 11th Street.

Cleveland is a surprising hub of culture and entertainment. It’s also a great place to hunker down for a nice, juicy steak.

Cleveland is known for its foodie atmosphere, attracting food lovers from all over the world as one of the top destinations in the area. The cuisine is as fine as the sights of Lake Eerie.

Elegant. Magnificent. Historic. These accurately describe Cleveland’s beautiful Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar.

Walking in feels like entering a dream world, where chandeliers are hoisted high above you and royalty comes prancing down the staircase.

The original building was constructed in 1893 by Harry Augustus Garfield and James Rudolph Garfield, the sons of President James A. Garfield.

For most of the 1900s, the Marble Room was a banking hub. In 2017, the old building on Euclid Avenue was transformed into one of Cleveland’s finest dining locations.

Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar offers beautiful steaks and a delicious raw seafood bar with oysters, shrimp, and caviar.

I highly recommend the 40-ounce porterhouse with the shallot and mustard sauce if you’ve come for steak. It will change your life.

RED Downtown is more than just one of the best that Cleveland has to offer. It’s one of the best steakhouses in the country.

RED Downtown fulfills every need with high-quality cuts of meat and seafood choices that add variety.

I’m a sucker for a good New York strip, and RED Downtown has a 14-ounce piece of meat that simply melts in your mouth. Add some chilies and garlic, and you’ve got yourself one fine dining experience.

Morton’s The Steakhouse

At Morton’s, you will feel at home as you settle in for a night of good food and a stellar atmosphere that you can’t find anywhere but Morton’s.

The upscale chain steakhouse delivers on fine cuts of beef with unique side combinations and appetizers that will make your mouth water.

I recommend starting with the Maine lobster ravioli. I know it’s rich, and you’ve come for steak, but consider this your opportunity to treat yourself.

Follow that delicious appetizer up with a classic chopped house salad and the juicy 12-ounce filet mignon.

If you want to try something profound, ask about their Waygu filet Rossini. It’ll likely be the best piece of meat you’ve ever had in your life.

Join Chef Ron Larson for an experience, unlike anything you’ve experienced thus far in the world of fine dining and steakhouses.

Chef Larson is a local Cleveland man, an entrepreneur, and a historian. That means he puts time, energy, and love into the thing that is his utmost passion: good food. And that passion turns into a vision of perfection at Strip A.

Strip A takes a new, modern twist on some of the most popular MIdwestern dishes. The tater tots are stuffed with blue cheese and bacon, the pork belly slices have a ginger glaze, and the cut of the day is always a hit.

I was massively impressed by the Boilermaker, a center-cut ribeye pan-blacked with just enough Irish whiskey to make it delightful.

Cabin Club

30651 Detroit Rd, Westlake, OH 44145

The Cabin Club is considered the best steakhouse on Cleveland’s West Side. Stationed in what used to be a private hunting lodge, the Cabin Club is named for the historic structure in which it makes its home. It’s a casual atmosphere, with an upscale twist on the food selection and the stellar wine list.

Chef Doug Dombroski delivers an excellent curation of fine cuts of meat. The raspberry barbecue shrimp is the most surprising appetizer, delightful in its flavor profile. The seafood features Maine salmon and Alaskan king crab.

But the steak is worth writing home about. The Bourbon Steak Diane features a bourbon cream that tastes, unlike anything you’ve ever tasted before.

You can even make reservations for a Sunday brunch outing and bring your favorite people along with you to experience the beauty of this fine steakhouse.

Dinner comes in many shapes and sizes, and Cleveland Chop carries them all. From 14-ounce boneless ribeyes to a 16-ounce New York strip, you’re guaranteed to find a cut for everyone.

If seafood is more your style, you can’t go wrong with the pan-roasted walleye. The wet-aged standard filet is full of flavor and a delightful experience.

Delmonico’s Steakhouse

With 27 years of experience, Delmonico’s is the type of steakhouse that simply oozes personality and class.

It’s got a swanky, retro feel that transports you back to the 1950s. The intimate dining room has a style all its own that can’t be replicated. Believe me; I’ve tried. There’s nothing quite like a night out at Delmonico’s.

This is one of Cleveland’s best steakhouses, and it isn’t difficult to see why. Delmonico’s delivers a unique mix of steak, seafood, and classic Italian cuisine in every way.

You won’t want to leave without trying the lobster bisque; it’s divine. And my experience with the filet Abruzzo was nearly spiritual.

Ferris Steak House

2589 Wooster Rd, Rocky River, OH 44116

Ferris Steak House is more than just another great steakhouse. It’s more than one more Cleveland bar. It’s more than a place to eat some meat and drink a beer.

It’s a place where you can go to relax, unwind, and enjoy some of the most delicious food that you’ve ever experienced on this planet.

The steakhouse and tavern environment gives you a sense of belonging. You walk in and know that you could get used to this place.

If that weren’t enough, the menu would keep you coming back for days. I suggest going all in and trying the 14-ounce Cleveland strip. Believe me; you won’t regret that decision.

If you guessed that this steakhouse derives its name from the winningest coach in all of professional football history, then you guessed correctly.

Coach Don Shula championed victories and motivated his players with a stellar work ethic and commitment to excellence. He focused on success, but not at the expense of character.

Shula’s 2 Steak & Sports is no different.

Focused on excellence, this steakhouse delivers on some of the most pleasing dinner combinations I’ve ever seen.

While you’re there, make sure you check out the Shula BBQ Burger – it’s exactly as delicious as you’re assuming it is right now. Complete with applewood smoked bacon, it’s all you could ask for in a burger.

Don’s Lighthouse Grille

In the historic Edgewater neighborhood, Don’s Lighthouse Grille is a charming seafood and steak joint that looks out over a waterfront view.

Good food and a pleasant atmosphere await you at Don’s. Reservations are required, which means it might be time to get dressed up and take that special someone out for a special night.

This historic little joint offers classic American dining with a unique twist of personality and charm. Using only the freshest seafood and USDA-certified Angus beef, Don’s delivers the best of the best to loyal patrons.

This Texas sirloin comes with whipped potatoes and simply delightful hollandaise sauce. I highly recommend the steak, Oscar.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is about 45 minutes south of Cleveland, but believe me when I tell you: it is worth the trip.

This Akron gem is home to a fine dining experience that seems otherworldly. Whether you’re looking for prime steak or delicious barbecue Scottish salmon, Fleming’s has what it takes to leave you satisfied.

To experience Fleming’s is to experience excellence in its highest capacity. Everything from the dinner menu to the wine list is carefully curated to create a unique and memorable moment for each patron.

My time at Fleming’s passed quickly, marveling over an 8-ounce petite filet mignon cooked to perfection, doused in smoked chili butter. It was a night I’ll never forget.
