Mallorca is a Spanish restaurant with a menu filled with cuisine from Spain and Portugal. They have a variety of different dishes ranging from seafood to soup. My favorite dish to eat at Mallorca is the broiled salmon fillet with a side of cold tomato soup. The menu also offers clams, shrimp, mussels, tilapia, calamari, and crab. The interior atmosphere is pleasant and warm, and along with the delicious menu, this is a must-visit if you are in Cleveland.

Don’s Lighthouse Grille is probably my favorite restaurant I have been to in Cleveland. Starting with the interior, it has an upscale vibe with a cozy atmosphere to match it. It is truly a pristine place to dine in. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. The food is amazing as well. They serve some of the best calamari and Maryland crab cake I have ever had the pleasure of eating. And I do not say that lightly, because those are my favorite seafood dishes to eat. After eating at Don’s Lighthouse you can visit Edgewater Beach, which is just down the road.

Alley Cat Oyster Bar has one of the best views in all of Cleveland. During the daytime the garage door with window panels is open, and you can see a beautiful view of the Cuyahoga River. My favorite dish to eat here is salmon. It comes with a summer Panzanella salad, heirloom tomato, cucumber, onion, chickpeas, baby kale, and red wine vinaigrette to complement the whole thing. This place also offers some of the best-tasting raw oysters I have eaten. Alley Cat Oyster Bar also has an amazing Blonde Bloody Mary cocktail to quench your thirst. It is mixed with Tito’s Handmade Vodka and a Natural Blonde bloody mary mix.

Blue Point Grille is an incredibly upscale and quality restaurant to eat in Cleveland. Since its opening, they have earned Cleveland Magazine’s Silver Spoon Award for “Best Seafood Restaurant” every year. I just had to check out Cleveland’s iconic seafood restaurant. And let me say, all my expectations were met and exceeded. I ordered the Jumbo Maine Lobster Tail with a side of Crispy Brussels Sprouts when I ate there. I also tried their Blackened Swordfish with klondike rose potatoes and green beans. The food was spectacular! Point Grille truly lives up to the world-class dining experience it claims to be.

Pier W has one of the best modern aesthetics and views out of all the restaurants I have been to. Inside it has a white and blue theme that complements the beautiful view of Lake Eerie. Pier W has a menu full of fresh seafood and seasonal dishes. They work directly with fishermen to secure fresh fish, as stated by Executive Chef Regan Reik. I ordered a Grilled Hawaiian Tuna covered in sweet chile glaze. The tuna also came with grilled bok choy, glass noodle okonomiyaki cake, and grilled pineapple. Dining here was a great experience, and I would return for seconds.

Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar is the definition of upscale dining. From beautiful architecture to an elegant atmosphere, it offers a fine dining experience. The building itself also has a rich history dating back to 1893. From the menu, I really liked the four-piece shrimp cocktail, which you can get from the raw bar. They also offer an exceptional fresh-caught seasonal fish meal, including smoked fingerling potato salad, broccolini, and lemon. And all the while I was eating, live music was playing, making it truly an experience that I will remember.

Parallax has a nice minimalist setting which complements the food I ate there. The menu is the interesting part of this restaurant, featuring a unique blend of classic French and Asian cuisine. Along with the noodles they offer you can get salmon, trout, cod, and other delicious seafood. The menu also offers sushi and sashimi rolls. Some great ones I tried were the Rainbow roll and Green Dragon roll. I recommend trying the sushi and sashimi here. The shellfish were also good, though unfortunately, I could not try the raw oysters. If you love Asian cuisine then you should try Parallax out!

Nauti Mermaid is one of the most inspired restaurants on this list. The interior looks are similar to a Key West snack shack. The atmosphere is super cozy, and it almost feels like you are not in Ohio anymore. The menu is Caribbean inspired, with tons of interesting seafood dishes. I particularly loved the crab legs they served with Southern Style black beans. The whole menu feels like it is all comfort food. Their blackened grouper was also excellent. Nauti Mermaid has a great atmosphere and food, and I recommend it to anyone in Cleveland!

Sarita, a restaurant has a menu full of American cuisine with a sprinkle of tasty seafood. Corn-crusted crab cakes were my go-to from the menu. This came with roasted corn-bacon risotto, grilled asparagus, red pepper aioli, and lemon garlic aioli. The price was a little steep, but it was an excellent dish. They also offer salmon, mussels, calamari, oysters, and tuna. The seafood is excellent at Sarita, though it could have a larger selection with something like sea bass. Sarita is a great restaurant, so give it a try when you are in the Lakewood area!
