The Windy City is quite the place to be on the holidays if you ask me. Chicago, Illinois is a beautiful city any time of year, really, but there’s something particularly special about being in Chicago on New Year’s Eve to partake in the city-wide partying.
Big cities like Chicago are my favorite places to go for New Year’s Eve events and parties because the whole atmosphere seems to change almost overnight from a normal city to a party hub. NYE events in Chicago are unlike anywhere else in the country, in my opinion. There are so many places to celebrate the end of the year that it can be hard to narrow down the best ones when you’re planning your night of fun, but I think I can help with that.
I’ve gone around Chicago searching for all the most fun New Year’s Eve parties and I’ve put them all on a handy guide that you can find down below. Don’t risk missing out on a fun NYE party in Chicago, just take a look at all my favorite places to go for that midnight countdown so you can ring in the new year right. You won’t be sorry!

Final Thoughts
As you can see, New Year’s Eve in a massive city like Chicago is unimaginably fun. There are so many places to let loose and watch fireworks around the city that it’s almost impossible to have a bad time on NYE in Chicago, especially if you head to any of the venues I listed above.
