Morimoto Restaurant, Bar, and Lounge is all about the Morimoto lifestyle. This high-end Japanese restaurant is located in Downtown Napa.

Once you get in, what meets your eyes is a wide-open retail environment, not the regular restaurant atmosphere.

The entrance to the dining room is gorgeous, with warm white oak shelving and soothing grays.

The restaurant has a private dining section featuring in its open floor plan, perfect for a graduation party, anniversary, or wedding rehearsal dinner.

I ordered a glass of Nicolas Feuillatte Brut, my favorite wine. My wife opted for Morimoto Nigori (premium sake) as we waited for Masaharu Morimoto’s (chef/restaurant owner) famous food full of perfectly-balanced flavors.

The food in this restaurant integrates Western and Japanese ingredients. I would recommend you try one of their cold or hot appetizers before taking a chef’s combination of either sashimi or sushi as you enjoy the cozy private space with your loved ones.

We visited TORC restaurant on our last night in Napa. Admittedly, I had the best meal of my stay at Napa here.

The restaurant is located in Downtown Napa and offers American cuisines. TORC’s private dining is on the restaurant’s second floor.

You can either choose to have the French doors opened to let in the main dining room’s energy or closed if you prefer a very intimate environment.

Chef Sean O’Toole will be of great help to you if you’re interested in a seated dinner. He can create a custom six-course (individually plated tasting menu for your table). You can also choose your own three- or four-course meal served family-style.

I had the fillet and short rib while she had risotto with roasted quail. Not only were the meals exquisite, but the atmosphere was tremendous and everything reasonably priced.

The restaurant boasts nothing less than what you’re looking for in private dining rooms. And if you require a very intimate environment, they have an enclosed outdoor private dining room. It’s the best place to host a corporate meeting, wedding reception, and more.

I recommend taking clam chowder soup and Caesar salad (prepared tableside). It will leave you licking your fingers.

Going by my family’s expressions, the food here is excellent, including the drinks. We spent our evening at the enclosed outdoor private dining room and had a great family time. Undoubtedly, their service comes second to no other place in Napa.

La Toque is a fine-dining lair located in the Westin Verasa Napa. The restaurant offers the best blend of service and American cuisine, thanks to their experienced chefs and highly professional waiters.

I have dined here twice. The second time was the best, with my family and friends at a patio with overhead heaters and cement floors.

Chef Ken Frank’s La Toque makes truly delicious food accompanied with good wine. Make sure you order tagliatelle with shaved truffle, although any of the chef’s tasting menu courses are fabulous. They’re all worthy of a Michelin star.

The experience here with all the privacy I needed with my loved ones was terrific.

I once went here with a friend and spent several hours there. I enjoyed their fabulous food and delicious wine on their expansive courtyard patio. It’s a great location for a cocktail party, business meeting, or anniversary party.

The restaurant is 17 miles away once you turn from Highway 29 to 12/121 toward Sonoma. You’ll just turn right once you spot two red buildings into the Boon Fly Café driveway.

Their satisfying modern cuisine is based on Napa’s agricultural heritage of Napa. I started my morning here and took Fly donuts.

They tasted divine, and I couldn’t resist making a dinner reservation where my family and I had fried chicken at their private dining space.

I can only say all their meals, including their nightly dinner specials, which you should try, by the way, are award-winning.

When Valentine’s weekend caught up with me in Napa, I couldn’t find a better place to stay with my wife. We spent the weekend in one of their private free-standing cottages.

The culinary experience is unforgettable, prepared with fresh, local farm products. Wine and beer are in plenty. The Executive Chef, Jeffrey Jake, ensures all meals professionally. My favorite meal was a gourmet hamburger.

Everything about Carneros Resort and Spa, including its three restaurants (Farm at Carneros, Hilltop Dining Room, and Boon Fly Café), is exceptional. You’re guaranteed 100% privacy.

I had Pork Chop and Little Gem Salad for dinner here. We also shared a 21-day dry-aged Porterhouse Steak, which left us licking our fingers.

After a long day in the streets, such great food and a glass of wine in a private environment are all we wanted.

People love their seafood, too, with most people going for the New Zealand Ora King Salmon Filet. It’s worth trying out.
