Buffalo, New York, is a diverse, urban city located at the eastern end of Lake Erie.
It’s the second-largest city in New York and is known for the melting pot of culture, arts, and entertainment.
Buffalo has something to do for everyone, whether taking in a sports event, exploring downtown, or attending a show in Buffalo’s famous Theatre District.

Sky Bar is one of Buffalo’s hottest summer bars, located on the corner of Franklin and Chippewa.
This upscale hotspot features an open-air rooftop bar with several private VIP cabanas, an extensive bottle service menu, and the best views of downtown Buffalo.
We started the night in a private cabana that held eight people in our party and had a few top-shelf bottles before moving to the dance floor.
There was an additional charge for the cabana, and we booked our reservations directly on the website.
The Sky Bar can host 30 – 500 people for private parties, so visit the website to make your reservations.
Come dressed in your finest resort casual attire, and bring your pictured ID, maybe even a backup, as they reserve the right to ask for two forms of identification.

Soho Buffalo is another fabulous place to dine and have a few drinks, located in Buffalo’s Theatre District.
Only a short walk to Shea’s Performing Arts, the restaurant is open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 4 pm to 10 pm, and Sundays for brunch.
Soho Buffalo provides guests with a fun, casual atmosphere, featuring nineteen TVs, three bars, and two rooftop patios.
And, of course, you can always count on top chef Ray Flor to deliver some of my favorite dishes like the bacon-wrapped dates and mouth-watering steaks.
Reservations for a table or VIP seating can be made on their website or by calling them directly.

If Italian is what you’re craving, Tappo Restaurant is where to go even if you want to order take-out.
Known for serving the best Italian cuisine in the city, Tappo Restaurant provides a charming, casual atmosphere, whether attending a business dinner or a night out with the family.
The food is always superb, starting with the Italian bread dipped in seasoned olive oil.
The bread has the perfect combination of crispy outside crust and warm, soft middle.
The restaurant also serves some of the tastiest entrees; my favorite is the Alla Vodka Pasta with Sausage.
Aside from the outdoor seating on the rooftop patio, a unique feature of Tappo Restaurant is the rooftop igloo dining.
Complete with a pre-selected food menu and custom bottle service, the igloo dining experience is top-notch.
Reservations for indoor seating and the igloo dining experience can be made on Tappo’s website.
However, seating for patio dining is by request only; no reservations are accepted.

The VUE rooftop lounge is open year-round, provides guests a contemporary atmosphere to get together, wind down, and have a few drinks.
Happy hour is available during the week and serves appetizers, pizza, and cocktails.

We enjoyed breathtaking views of downtown, Lake Erie, and the Canadian shoreline while relaxing after a long day exploring the city.

The Pearl Street Grill & Brewery is the second largest and one of Buffalo’s most iconic brewpubs.
With tons of history, this top-rated restaurant provides daily take-out, dine-in seating, and banquet space for catered events like weddings or corporate gatherings.
You can almost get lost on the four floors of the pub, which features nine bars and a New Orleans style, cooper roofed patio.
But, in my opinion, this historic brewpub is one of the best places to have a pint, celebrate with friends, and enjoy a variety of house-made craft beers processed on-site.
No reservations are needed.
The Pearl Street Grill & Brewery provides a casual atmosphere for all occasions.
