At Key Largo Fisheries, you will be awestruck by the views and satisfied by the tasty food. The cafe is situated in a marina where boats come and go all day. It is open daily beginning at 11:00 am. The restaurant is a great place to visit when traveling with children.
Try the conch salad or the lobster bites for an appetizer. Key Largo Fisheries is a great place to try some of the fresh catch dishes the Keys are known for offering.
The stone crab chowder is also a local favorite. For an entree, order the grouper sandwich or the Cuban sandwich with blackened Mahi. The key lime pie and the mango cheesecake are delicious desserts.

Located in Garden Cove Marina, The Buzzard’s Roost is a restaurant and tiki bar. With live music and outstanding waterfront views, the restaurant is easy to enjoy.
The restaurant is open for lunch, happy hour, dinner, and Sunday brunch. The laid-back vibe and the tasty meals will keep you coming back to the Buzzard’s Roost.
The half-pound of peel-and-eat shrimp is perfect for solo dining, but the shrimp is available by the pound as well for larger groups. I would also recommend the baked Brie as an appetizer. My favorite dish was the shrimp scampi, but the lobster reuben was a close second. Of course, there is key lime pie, but I’d recommend the Grand Marnier Crème Brulée or the Bananas Foster for dessert.

Snook’s Bayside Restaurant & Grand Tiki is a restaurant, a sports bar, and a dance club all rolled into one.
The atmosphere of the establishment shifts depending on the time and where the sun is sitting in the sky. The eatery is primarily open-air, and it has a waterfront patio. The kitchen specializes in American seafood and creative tropical drinks. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
Try the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich or the coconut shrimp platter. The bacon-wrapped scallops and the crab-stuffed lobster tails are delicious for dinner. If you can’t decide, just remember that you can’t go wrong with a fish sandwich in the Florida Keys! Try the chocolate raspberry martini, Irish coffee, or chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert.

Skippers Dockside is located in a vintage boathouse in Key Largo’s Marina Del Mar Resort. The restaurant is open from noon until at least 9:00 pm daily.
The menu offers many gluten-free options and signature dishes. The restaurant’s aesthetic sets the casual and comfortable vibe that aligns well with the classic Key Largo nonchalance of island life.
I enjoyed the conch fritters and the smoked fish dip. My favorite sandwich was the Key’s Mahi Sandwich with blackened fish, key lime remoulade, caramelized Bermuda onion, lettuce, tomato, and pineapple relish served on toasted coconut bread. The lobster macaroni and cheese is tasty! Notably, the restaurant will even “cook your catch” from your personal fishing trip.

Pilot House Restaurant & Marina is a casual seafood restaurant with waterfront views. The most popular feature is a glass-bottom patio.
The bar offers a bustling happy hour and often hosts live music performers who accept recommendations from the crowd and often jam to Jimmy Buffett songs. The sun and bright blue skies are gorgeous over Key Largo.
When I visited the Pilot House, I enjoyed the steamed mussels and the pan-seared scallops with risotto. Other popular menu items include Grilled Churrasco Steak with chimichurri sauce, the crunchy grouper sandwich, and the Baja tacos with jerk seasoned fish. Try a local beer from the Islamorada Beer Company, like the Sandbar Sunday Pale Wheat.

Snappers Oceanfront Restaurant & Bar is a casual waterfront restaurant that serves fresh seafood. The tiki bar at the eatery offers happy hour and live music performances. The restaurant is open daily for dinner and brunch on Sunday. Snappers is located by the Dove Creek Resort.
I enjoyed the gator bites and tuna nachos. Other menu items include Seafood Enchiladas, Filet Mignon, Blackened Snapper, and Beer-Battered Shrimp.
One signature dish is Snapper’s Shrimp Burger with a House-Made Shrimp Patty, on a Brioche Bun with Spicy Mayo. If you can visit for brunch, try the crab cakes Benedict; it makes waking up early on the weekends worthwhile!

Blackwater Siren offers outdoor seating and waterfront views. The rustic pub serves local comfort food and classic drinks.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily. Blackwater Siren is right off the Overseas Highway, so it is a perfect spot on your path through the keys.
I enjoyed the spicy shrimp gazpacho and the coconut onion rings. The tuna melt is a delicious dish for lunch, and for dinner, I recommend the surf and turf with filet mignon and sea scallops. Like the famous song, you can also enjoy a cheeseburger in paradise! Try the mermaid water or a draft beer with your meal.
