Restaurants Near Cape Coral With Waterfront Views

The most scenic spots in the city to eat by the water.

Located in southwest Florida, Cape Coral is a fast-growing metropolitan area filled with beautiful beaches and excellent weather all year-round.

Best known for having endless canals, the city is a great place to relocate or visit for a tropical vacation.

While there, enjoy seaside parks, romantic strolls on the beach, or hiking with friends or pets. Either way, there’s much to do and see in Cape Coral.

Aside from this, plenty of restaurants are moments away from the sandy beaches, which means you can go from the sea to the table in minutes.

A good waterfront restaurant has to have mouthwatering seafood and cocktails, beachy vibes, and a relaxing ambiance with a view. The restaurants we’ve selected check all of those boxes and some.

The Boat House Tiki Bar & Grill is an open and airy waterfront restaurant in the Yacht Club Community Park.

The Boat House has a small private beach with a deck, live music, and even a fuel dock for your convenience and enjoyment.

They have some of the freshest seafood, tropical cocktails, and tasty beach bites that you can find in Cape Coral.

They’ve even been featured on the “Food Paradise” tv show (Travel Channel) because of their famous Liki Tiki cocktail and the Authentic Cuban Sandwich.

The vibes are easygoing, and the atmosphere is light and friendly. The service is relatively fast, considering how busy it can get at certain hours.

The palm trees lining the Driftwood Parkway are the perfect accompaniment to the gorgeous sunset over the Caloosahatchee River.

The food has a nice balance of flavors, and the portion sizes are pretty generous also.

Lastly, the Martinis are superb; I highly recommend checking out the Boat House Tiki Bar & Grill if you’re ever in town.

Rumrunners

If you’re looking for a memorable experience, top-notch steaks and seafood, and a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico, Rumrunners is an excellent restaurant to visit.

The setting is upscale; they have a full-service bar and a large patio with seating. The decor is classy, and you can easily kick back and enjoy a casual evening out after a day at the beach. It’s also a suitable event venue for parties, weddings, or other get-togethers.

The food is spectacular at Rumrunners, and you can tell the chef understands how to manipulate flavors.

For example, the Seafood Pot Pie was savory yet delicately flavored. The crust was crispy and rich, and the sauce was decadent.

I also enjoyed the French Onion Soup, the Gulf Coast Seafood Paella, and the White Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert. Definitely one of the best waterfront restaurants in Cape Coral for reasonable prices and a good time!

Fathoms Restaurant & Bar

Situated along Cape Harbour marina, Fathoms Restaurant & Bar is a casual establishment serving high-end pub food that is eclectic and tasty.

They also have an outdoor bar with excellent cocktails such as the Pina Colada, the Bloody Mary, and signature specials.

The eatery is surrounded by a luxurious yachting community on the Gulf Coast, which offers beautiful views while you dine.

You can arrive by car or boat, leaving nothing to be desired of a waterfront restaurant. Several nights each week, you can catch live music performances while you eat, which is the perfect ending as you watch the sunset. Fathoms has delicious pizza, and I enjoyed the Frutto di Mare pie.

It had bay scallops, artichokes, Maine lobster, shrimp, and green peppers, a unique combination of toppings that were cooked wonderfully, and the spices were also spot-on.

Miceli’s Restaurant

When you’re talking about a waterfront eatery that has incredible views and delicious food— Miceli’s has to be among the first restaurants that come to mind.

Near the Matlacha Pass Aquatic Preserve, you can arrive by road or boat. If you come by boat, you can dock it and go right in to enjoy some live entertainment and a delectable bite to eat. The restaurant features genuine Italian cuisine with a coastal twist.

The atmosphere is promising, but it delivers fine dining, excellent service, and fantastic food in every way. You can expect to see such delicacies as their flavorful Stuffed Flounder or their rich Clam Chowder.

If you’re a shrimp lover like me, try the crunchy Coconut Shrimp on your visit to Miceli’s- you won’t regret it!

Located in The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, the Nauti Mermaid Dockside Bar and Grill embodies everything you’d want from a waterfront restaurant.

There is indoor and outdoor seating available, with views of the Caloosahatchee River. Not only does the water look majestic on a warm evening with a breeze, but the architecture of the building is modern and elegant.

Arrive by boat, car, or motorcycle, and grab some great eats. While you’re waiting for your food, stop by the tiki bar and order yourself a refreshing drink.

Their most popular dishes are the Mahi Mahi Tacos, Black Angus Beef Sliders with Fries, or the Chicken Ceasar Wrap.

Gather has just the right vibe to facilitate a memorable dining experience as you overlook the marina. The sight is breathtaking, and the environment is comfortable and classy.

The restaurant blends Mediterranean and traditional flavors to classic plates for an international flair. All meals pair wonderfully with one of their cocktails made from scratch.

I can’t overstate the depth of flavors and presentation. What’s more, the menu has a variety of food items to choose from, ranging from breakfast to brunch to an authentic Floridian lunch and dinner.

If you ever find yourself in the vicinity, be sure to drop by and try some of their tasty dishes like the Gnocchi, the Stone Crab special, or their beautifully plated Ahi Tuna Tartare. Lastly, the service is top-tier!

Cape Harbour Oyster Bar and Grill is a restaurant that is ideally situated so that you can see the marina and the margins of the city.

This gem is laid-back and welcomes newcomers looking for a great place to eat at the end of Chiquita.

The indoor and outdoor seating is convenient if you want to enjoy the view or stay inside and take in the sports bar-like atmosphere. The staff is also friendly and willing to make suggestions.

No one does oysters quite like this establishment, and they even have different kinds to choose from, ranging from subtle to more robust flavor!

However, this place doesn’t just specialize in oysters; the Sea Bass, Cape Bang Band shrimp, and Grouper Tacos are terrific dishes.

When you’re done, you can wash it down with a delicious Sangria straight from the bar.
