Dan & Louis is legendary and opened in 1907.

Five generations of the Wachsmuth family have proudly served the best seafood in Portland.

I enjoy heading to Flying Fish for their weekday happy hour to enjoy the fish tacos and draft beer specials.

Eat Oyster Bar is a hip Cajun restaurant located in Northern Portland a few blocks from Denorval Unthank City Park.

The restaurant features traditional Cajun-inspired dishes and Southern home-cooked meals.

For over a decade, the team at Eat Oyster Bar has worked closely with local fisheries and oyster farmers to ensure you experience the freshest dining experience in Portland.

You’ll find plenty of Southern dishes on the menu including frog legs, black-eyed peas & rice, seafood gumbo, and blackened catfish.

There’s also outdoor seating for the warmer months. La Moule is world famous for its mussels.

They offer six different sauces that all bring out the flavor of the locally farmed mussels.

The Marocaine and Korean-inspired sauces are my favorites.

Even if you don’t like mussels, La Moule is a great place to enjoy a cocktail. Their bar is always filled with interesting people to meet.


McCormick & Schmick’s Harborside at the Marina

If you enjoy spectacular views while dining, don’t skip McCormick & Schmick’s Harborside at the Marina.

This restaurant is located in the RiverPlace marina and has a breathtaking view of the Willamette River.

Like many other restaurants on this list, McCormick & Schmick prides itself on using only sustainable seafood and meat sources.

The expansive menu is filled with local favorites like crab & shrimp stuffed salmon and Pacific Rockfish.

Pairing the 10oz reserve rib-eye with crab & Bearnaise sauce is quite the culinary experience.

They also feature a massive wine list and champagne list for celebrating.
