Kelly’s Landing New England Seafood has been around since 1987 and they have never stopped serving fresh, delicious seafood in the traditional South Boston style. Our favorite things to come here for are their delectable New England-style “chowdahs” that we can never seem to resist, including clam chowder, lobster chowder, conch chowder, and even a Manhattan clam chowder.

You can come by car or by boat to Southport Raw Bar and Restaurant because they have an incredibly convenient dock for all of their sea-worthy patrons to tie up and disembark to enjoy fresh fish and seafood.

Coconuts is one of our favorite restaurants because they have some of the best seafood in Fort Lauderdale. What we really love, though, is the fact that they are located right off of Seabreeze Boulevard on the picturesque Las Olas Beach, so it’s the perfect lunch or dinner destination after a day in the sand. When you stop by, be sure to try their fish of the day because, whatever it is, it’s always absolutely something amazing like grouper or snapper.

We’re heading back to the Lauderdale Harbours area for this next restaurant, Boatyard, where they have some delectable small plates and great deals during happy hour, if you ask us. We strongly recommend trying an order of their stupendous shrimp and grits the next time you stop by for brunch, but for dinner we think their grilled swordfish is number one, especially with sides of their garlic mashed potatoes and their marinated heirloom tomatoes.

If you Head on down to Wild Sea for dinner, then we strongly recommend that you give their raw bar a try, specifically the raw bar tasting that includes lobster, poached shrimp, clams, and oysters.

We love this next place, Pirate Republic Seafood Restaurant, because they are one of the best restaurants in Fort Lauderdale because it incorporates a pirate theme into the atmosphere which makes it even more enjoyable. You don’t have to head to the Caribbean to eat like a pirate here at Pirate Republic, because they offer all sorts of unique dishes like grilled octopus and whole fish entrees that will help you channel your inner Jack Sparrow.

Last, but not least, we have Shooters Waterfront off of Northeast 32nd Avenue on the beautiful Lauderdale Beach, so it’s a perfect spot for lunch or dinner after a day in the sun. We have to recommend their grilled oysters for all of our fellow shellfish-lovers out there, but they also have fantastic sushi rolls to choose from, as well as lobster rolls if you’re more in the mood for that.
