1025 Aurora Ave, Naperville, IL 60540
Spanish food enthusiasts must visit Meson Sabika at least once during their stay in Naperville. You’ll find this spot quite near downtown Naperville, to its west.
This restaurant has been a Naperville fixture for more than 30 years, and it’s housed in a mansion built way back in 1847.
Visiting Meson Sabika is an impressive experience. The mansion is situated on an estate spanning four acres.
Meson Sabika boasts eight dining rooms, and every one of them is adorned with decor from the Spanish tradition.
This is a wonderful spot for Tapas, as well as Paellas and other Spanish dishes. On my visit to Meson Sabika, I enjoyed the Campesina, which is a dish with chorizo, chicken, saffron rice, and in-season vegetables. And don’t forget dessert. The Delicia de Chocolate is delectable.
The White Chocolate Grill
1803 Freedom Dr, Naperville, IL 60563
The White Chocolate Grill is a top-notch Naperville restaurant. If there’s one menu item I’ve got to recommend, it’s the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. It’s absolutely delicious and I don’t think I’ll ever taste another cheesecake as good.
This restaurant is a classic American restaurant with a contemporary design and atmosphere. With sophisticated and attentive service, The White Chocolate Grill boasts an excellent menu that includes the classics as well as Gluten-Free options.
When I visited the White Chocolate Grill, I ordered The Dancing Crab Cakes. For a side, go with the Freshly Mashed Potatoes. This dish comes with one of the best gravies I’ve ever tried.
535 Fairway Dr Suite 115, Naperville, IL 60563
I’d never tried Peruvian food before visiting SanguCHE. This popular Naperville restaurant is the creation of chef, Cesar Chang, and baker, Adelina Claro. Cesar Chang studied at the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute located in Lima, Peru.
I visited SanguCHE once while in Naperville, and I ordered the Spicy Quinoa Burger. I highly recommend this unique dish, which includes a veggie burger made with quinoa, cheese, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and the restaurant’s house chile mix.
When it comes to side dishes, the Peru Poutine and Fried Yuca are popular choices. Of course, there is also a house salad, as well as French fries, available for you to order and enjoy.
Jackson Avenue Pub
7 Jackson Ave, Naperville, IL 60540
This is the place to go if you love the atmosphere of a traditional pub. Focused on craft beer and top-notch burgers, you can’t go wrong with lunch at Jackson Avenue Pub.
I’m a burger lover, and I was impressed by this restaurant’s vast array of unique burger selections. I went with the Goat Cheese Burger, with a House Bun. I’ve heard locals rave about the Western and Classic Burgers at Jackson Avenue Pub.
If burgers aren’t your thing, the Reuben sandwich is a great alternative. A culinary mainstay with beer braised corn beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing, this sandwich is served on traditional Marble Rye bread.
Fire It Up Naperville
1523 N Aurora Rd #107, Naperville, IL 60563
Described as a Taco Fusion Grill, this popular local restaurant developed from a trendy food truck that took Chicago by storm in 2011. The restaurant opened in 2013, and it has been a local fixture ever since.
Fire It Up is the ultimate Naperville destination for taco fans. Southwest Chicken, Asian Pork, Shrimp, Steak, and Sweet Potato tacos are just a few of the varieties you will find here. Try one of the tasty side dishes here, too.
Feel like a cocktail with your meal? Fire It Up has a great cocktail menu. How does a Margarita or Cherry Bourbon Smash sound? Craft beer is also available here.
2020 Calamos Ct, Naperville, IL 60563
This family-owned restaurant has the kind of welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for lunch and dinner alike. In my opinion, CityGate Grille’s Mediterranean Chicken Wrap is one of the best you’ll find anywhere.
Steak lovers, you’ve got to come here. CityGate Grille’s dinner menu features USDA Prime steaks. Hoping to splash out on Filet Mignon? You can do that here.
Or if lobster is more your thing, there is surf and turf available. If you’d like, you can add a lobster tail to your Filet Mignon. Go ahead and be that decadent.
Your taste buds are safe in the hands of Executive Chef Adam Tanner. He’s well-known for the hospitality and top-notch cuisine of this establishment.
Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House
55 S Main St, Naperville, IL 60540
Conveniently located on Main Street, Hugo’s Frog Bar Naperville is a seafood restaurant with a difference.
With a unique approach, Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House serves frog legs in addition to seafood selections, such as fish, lobster, and fresh oysters.
Have you always wanted to try frog legs but didn’t know where to find them? Now you do. My visit to Hugo’s involved my first time trying this legendary French dish, and I was pleasantly surprised. Wash down your chosen dish with one of the restaurant’s craft cocktails.
Stop and enjoy lunch at Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House at least once during your downtown Naperville adventures!
Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria
If you’ve ever been to Chicago, you know the iconic name of Lou Malnati. With 59 locations all over Illinois, Louis Malnati’s Pizzeria is legendary. The first Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria restaurant opened way back in 1971.
I was excited to try Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria’s World Famous Chicago-Style Deep Dish Pizza, and I wasn’t disappointed.
This was quite simply the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in Naperville is always in high demand, so make plans in advance.
While pizza is the star attraction at this restaurant, remember to try some of the appetizers too. The Chicken Wings are delicious, and you can choose your favorite sauce. There is also Three-Cheese Bread and Mozzarella Sticks available.
If you’re in the mood for BBQ, Sharko’s BBQ is the place to be in Naperville. Sharko’s takes BBQ further than the rest, with delectable smoked meats with sauces and rubs.
The sides are equally topnotch, including Farm House Salads, the Spinach Casserole Signature Side, and more.
I went to Sharko’s BBQ on a Sunday, so I could order their Angus Beef Brisket Chili. No matter which day you go, though, you can enjoy this restaurant’s legendary Rotisserie Smoked Meat.
With all this BBQ flavor, you’ll need a cold drink to wash it down. That’s what Sharko’s hand-squeezed lemonade is for. What a great way to spend the afternoon.
1633 N Naper Blvd, Naperville, IL 60563
You’re in for a treat at MingHin Cuisine. This restaurant has been a Michelin Guide winner five times over the years, so I had high expectations. And every one of them was exceeded when I enjoyed dinner at MingHin Cuisine.
This restaurant specializes in Dim Sum and Hong Kong cuisine. MingHin Cuisine has been around since 2010, and since then it has become legendary as providing some of the best dim sum anywhere in the Midwest. MingHin has been lauded in numerous publications.
On my visit, I ordered the Sesame Chicken, one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes. I highly recommend it. And don’t forget to add some Egg Rolls.
Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano
2752 Showplace Dr, Naperville, IL 60564
I don’t know about you, but I love Italian food. When I crave beautifully made pasta and sauce, I’m picky and only want the best traditional Italian cuisine.
That is why I headed over to Biaggi’s while I was in Naperville. This Naperville restaurant offers house-made pastas, as well as imported varieties.
Biaggi’s has several locations in different parts of the country, and their Naperville spot is just as good as the rest. This restaurant has won awards from magazines as well known as Consumer Reports and Omaha Magazine.

120 Water St Ste 122, Naperville, IL 60540
Naperville visitors craving delicious Mexican food should pay a visit to Quiubo. I’m a big taco fan, and that is why I went to Quiubo more than once during my time in Naperville.
One of my favorites from Quiubo is the Pollo En Salsa Verde. This taco includes braised chicken breast, shredded and adorned with pickled onions, potatoes, and tomatillo salsa.
There are plenty of side dishes to choose from, too. I favor the Frijoles, which is refried pinto beans with garlic and chipotle.
Quiubo is located near the DuPage River and the Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere in Quiubo, and I’m sure you will too.
Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse
1824 Abriter Ct, Naperville, IL 60563
I’d never been to a Brazilian Steak House before, and that’s why I made time to visit Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse during my Naperville stay. This restaurant is an adventure in Brazilian flavors and dishes.
Enjoy one of this spot’s delicious craft cocktails with your meal, or maybe go with one of their upscale wines. Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse uses the traditional churrasco grilling tradition, a method that stretches back centuries in Brazil.
Of course, steak is the main attraction at this restaurant, but there are other tempting dishes you may want to try. I recommend booking at least one meal at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse.
224 S Main St, Naperville, IL 60540
Situated near Jackson Avenue and a convenient distance to the beautiful Centennial Park, Allegory is yet another must-visit Naperville eating spot. This restaurant’s motto is Food, Libations, and Revelry, and they work hard to live up to it.
With a casual and welcoming atmosphere, Allegory is a great place to enjoy lunch or a fun-loving dinner. The menu is full of options to suit every taste, with finger food, small dishes, entrees (lovingly referred to as “Biggs”), and more.
I highly recommend the Cheeses-N-Mac from the Smalls menu and the Magic Taco from the Hands-y menu. When it comes to entrees, the Short Rib is amazing.

This restaurant is located conveniently close to Naperville’s Central Park. You’ll also find Main Street Promenade nearby.
