Taking the number one spot on our list is a place called Roosterfish Grill. This seafood restaurant is easily one of my favorite places to eat in Largo, Florida. I especially love their Canadian sea scallops, but they also serve fresh gulf oysters on the half shell and oysters Rockefeller.

They have a spacious dining room complete with fishing decor as well as a gorgeous open-air patio for outdoor seating and a full liquor bar.

Check out Roosterfish Grill off of Missouri Avenue North in front of the Teakwood Village Mobile Home Park, just north of Largo High School.

German Bistro II

1300 E Bay Dr, Largo, FL 33771
Phone: (727) 216-6519

Up next is German Bistro II off of East Bay Drive, just north of the Lago Central Park Nature Preserve. It’s a great place to eat after a long walk down the gorgeous trails.

The menu here at German Bistro II is packed with traditional German delicacies like wiener schnitzel, jagerschnitzel, and so many more. My personal go-to is the bratwurst with a side of delicious sauerkraut, of course.

The most charming aspect of this German restaurant, however, is undoubtedly the live accordion player in the corner, completing the ambiance.

Cafe Largo

This next place is called Cafe Largo and they’re a cozy French restaurant located inside Galleria shopping center on the corner of  126th Avenue and Indian Rocks Road, right next to Wilcox Nursery and Landscape.

The menu here is nothing but fine-dining creations that are fit for a king. Just make sure you practice your French before trying to order any of the menu items by name!

I highly recommend trying their chateaubriand steak with bearnaise sauce when you come to Cafe Largo. They also have a Grand Marnier souffle that is simply delectable, but you have to order it at the beginning of your meal to allow time to cook.

E&E Stakeout Grill

100 Indian Rocks Rd N, Belleair Bluffs, FL 33770
Phone: (727) 585-6399
Visit Website

E&E Stakeout Grill is one of Largo’s best restaurants and one of my favorite steakhouse experiences. They use nothing but the finest cuts of steak, pork, and fish in all of their savory menu items.

My favorite dish to order from E&E Stakeout Grill is their 12-ounce New York Strip with a side of risotto. They also offer an early bird special menu for those of us that get hungry early in the evening from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM daily.

Check out E&E Stakeout Grill off of Indian Rocks Road North, less than a mile east of the gorgeous Belleair Causeway Boat Ramp Dog Beach.

Savory Restaurant

Next up is Savory Restaurant located inside the Walsingham Commons shopping center, just west of the Florida Botanical Gardens and the Heritage Village museum. In my opinion, it’s one of the best places to eat in Largo, Florida.

Savory is a charming blend of American, Italian, and Greek fare all in one place. My absolute favorite part about Savory is that they serve breakfast all day, every day. They also have lunch and dinner menus too, of course.

For breakfast, I recommend an omelette, for sure. As far as dinner goes, I am a huge fan of their ½-pound craft burgers or one of their gyro pitas.

Thai Basil II

1700 W Bay Dr, Largo, FL 33770
Phone: (727) 518-7705

Up next, head to West Bay Drive, just west of the Largo Medical Center, until you see a place called Thai Basil. This is easily one of my favorite places to get curry when I’m in the city.

I highly recommend the duck curry chef’s special, but a close second would be the lamb curry made with a delectable panang sauce.

Their other traditional Thai dishes are incredible. If you’re looking for authentic pad thai or pad see ew, then this is the place to go.

Da Pollani’s

13688 Walsingham Rd, Largo, FL 33774
Phone: (727) 239-7855
Visit Website

Da Pollani’s is an Italian restaurant with some of the best pizza in Largo, if you ask me. They also serve handmade pasta and fresh seafood as well.

This family-owned restaurant is dedicated to bringing a taste of Sicily to Largo, and they do it incredibly well. From top to bottom, their menu is filled with classic Italian favorites. I prefer the veal parmesan or the spaghetti carbonara, made with fresh egg the way it’s supposed to be.

Look for Da Pollani’s off of Walsingham Road and 137th Street, almost directly across from the Walmart Neighborhood Market.

iThai & Sushi

Another amazing Thai restaurant I love to frequent is iThai & Sushi. This is easily one of the best places to eat near Largo, FL. iThai has all of the fresh sushi and Thai cuisine you could ever want.

iThai is an absolutely lovely combination of amazing Thai food and fresh sushi. My go-to order when I pay them a visit here is a big bowl of their Massaman curry, but they have 7 other tantalizing flavors to choose from.

Look for iThai & Sushi off of Seminole Boulevard and 110th Avenue North, right across from J&K’s Seafood Shack.

Mike’s Pizza & Pub

14477 Walsingham Rd, Largo, FL 33774
Phone: (727) 724-4100

Mike’s Pizza and Pub is like a classic little sports bar with a delicious Italian flare. There are plenty of TVs all over to watch the big game and they also have some of the best stromboli and calzones in the city.

The pizza here is made on a thin crust with hand-tossed dough, as it should be. I really love their specialty pizzas like the BBQ chicken pizza and the Buffalo chicken pizza. Of course, they also have a mouth-watering Chicago-style deep-dish pizza that I think everyone should try.

Head down to Mike’s Pizza and Pub off of Walsingham Road, east of the George C. McGough Nature Park. It’s a great place to cool off after enjoying the park!

Latin Bowl Restaurant

This next place, Latin Bowl Restaurant, is over off of Walsingham Road near the breathtaking Florida Botanical Gardens. This is where I love to spend the evening after exploring all of the tropical flora at the gardens.

This restaurant has everything you could ever want when it comes to Latin food made fresh. They even offer different food specials every day. Some of my favorite deals are the chicken rice bowl for only $6.50 on Thursdays and the pork wrap deal for $6.99 on Saturdays.

Speggtacular is a charming, laid-back breakfast spot with major retro diner vibes. They’ve got all the breakfast favorites to start your day off right like omelets, crepes, pancakes, and so much more. I usually go for one of their fresh fruit smoothies!

Eggs are the specialty here at Speggtacular, as their name would suggest. I, personally, love their various eggs Benedict. They serve one variation called Florentine which comes with 2 poached eggs, spinach, Monterey Jack, and your choice of meat all smothered in Hollandaise.

Check out Speggtacular near the intersection of Ulmerton Road and South Belcher Road, right across the street from McDonald’s and next to IHOP.

Veggie Thai Cafe

3690 E Bay Dr ste h, Largo, FL 33771
Phone: (727) 724-4969

Up next, I’ve got a real treat for all of my vegetarian readers. Veggie Thai Cafe is a terrific vegetarian restaurant where you can enjoy all sorts of meatless Asian dishes.

I really love the fact that you can order fried rice and noodle dishes like fried rice or noodles without the egg so you don’t have to stray from your diet. Some other delicacies offered here at Veggie Thai Cafe include the wonton soup and tom yum with tofu or vegetables.

You can find Veggie Thai Cafe off of East Bay Drive in central Largo, right across from the East Bay Plaza where the Publix Supermarket is located.

When you’re craving Indian food in Largo, Florida, Taste of Punjab is really the best place to eat. They even offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for almost everything on their menu. There’s really something for everyone here!

The dinner menu is extensive and full of tasty dishes, but I love to come here for lunch when they have a massive buffet going on. When I do come here for dinner, however, I can’t help but get one of their delicious tandoori specials. It gets even better when you realize you can add curry sauce as well.

Taste of Punjab is located off of 117 Drive North and Walsingham Road, tucked away in the middle of a small strip mall. It can be easy to miss if you’re not paying attention, so keep your eyes peeled!

Golden Bear Restaurant

In the mood for some classic American comfort food? Then Golden Bear Restaurant is going to quickly become your new favorite Largo restaurant. This is the ultimate dining destination for some home cooked breakfast and lunch.

Golden Bear Restaurant is a long-time fixture of Largo and as soon as you eat there you’ll see why. In my opinion, their breakfast is what really shines because you can just tell everything is made from scratch. I recommend some classic buttermilk pancakes with crispy bacon and a couple of fried eggs to get your day started.

Bonefish Grill

Just steps over the city limits of Largo in Belleair Bluffs, right before the Belleair Causeway Boat Ramp Dog Beach, is Bonefish Grill. Pretty much everyone knows and loves this place and it’s one of the best places to eat near Largo, Florida.

The seafood is so fresh, you’ll be able to taste the ocean in every bite here at Bonefish Grill. One thing I highly recommend is their wood-grilled ahi tuna steak. There’s nothing like premium yellowfin tuna seared to perfection for a perfect dinner.

Make sure to save room for dessert, too. I love a nice slice of their classic cheesecake served with melba sauce and powdered sugar.

They have food specials and drink deals daily and their full menu is available for takeout when you use any of the popular food delivery apps. They’ve got wings, burgers, nachos, and basically every other amazing bar food you could want.

Karaoke is every single night, 7 days a week, starting at 9:00 PM and it goes until closing time, 3:00 AM. So warm up those vocals and get ready to belt one out when you head down to Corner Bar & Grill.

Outback Steakhouse

Last, but not least, is one of my favorite steakhouses in Largo, Outback Steakhouse. When you want consistent quality and great service, this is the place for you, always.

The varieties of steak here always blow my mind. It’s a true carnivore’s paradise here at Outback. What I always order is the Victoria’s filet mignon which comes thick-cut, seasoned and seared to perfection.

Look for Outback Steakhouse off of East Bay Drive, right across the street from Harbor Freight Tools and the Publix Supermarket at East Bay Plaza.
