If you’re planning on visiting Dallas, Texas, one neighborhood you don’t want to miss out on during your vacation is the Knox-Henderson District.

I consider it an excellent place for shopping. I also love hanging out at Cochran Park with my friends on D-Town’s warmest and brightest days.

Many people also love walking and biking down The Katy Trail to get some extra cardio during their day.

If you’re interested in experiencing the neighborhood’s thriving nightlife, consider stopping by their bustling restaurants.

From upscale eateries to casual cafes, there are plenty of places to enjoy signature Dallas Tex-Mex, BBQ, and other international dining options. Some dining destinations are also ideal for late-night hangouts.

This casual New American restaurant offers dishes incorporating coastal California flavors for anyone seeking a menu abundant with variety. They also have a heated outdoor patio perfect for dining on cooler nights.

After starting with their Rabbit Sausage or Baked Oysters, consider ordering their Veal Cheeks, Malfatti, Pork Tournedos Au Poivre, or Chicken Porchetta as your main course.

They also offer several red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines to-go. Finally, try their Citrus Panna Cotta or Brown Butter Apple Blondie if you have room for dessert.

This neighborhood restaurant has a chic and sophisticated atmosphere for unwinding after a long day and enjoying seasonal dishes prepared by Chef Greg. They also have a private dining room and offer customizable event menus.

I like starting with Grilled Spanish Octopus or Fritto Misto and sampling their Scottish Salmon, Chicken Schnitzel, or Double Cheeseburger whenever I stop by for dinner.

In my opinion, they taste great with a Winter Is Coming, La Femme Nikita, or Fire When Ready cocktail. I also recommend trying their Hot Pastrami or Quiche for brunch.

If you’re dining with your family, start with their Huckleberry Sliders or Sicilian Calamari. Then, try their Zoodles, Salmon Troisgros, Steak and Frites, or Chicken BALT with a Katy Trail cocktail.

I also recommend visiting on Wednesdays for their all-day half-priced wine bottles, Thursdays for live music from 6 PM to 9 PM, or Sunday brunch.

You can find it across the street from Nick Brock Antiques. This laid-back setting offers an all-day upscale menu for anyone interested in sampling the best flavors around the neighborhood.

In my opinion, their best dishes are Short Rib Stroganoff, Crispy Pork Shank, Salmon Burger, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Cobb Salad.

I recommend ordering them with a side of seasoned fried, garlic mashed potatoes, or beer-battered onion rings and a Strawberry Crush or Blackberry cooler cocktail. They also offer brunch every Sunday.

I consider Up On Knox one of the best restaurants in Knox-Henderson, Texas, because of its chic, laid-back atmosphere and tasty French and California-inspired menu options.

Executive Chef Luis Quezada offers quality flavor in every dish for anyone craving the best lunch, brunch, or dinner in this part of Dallas.

They also offer private dining in their exclusive private dining room or pergola room. I’m a fan of their Grilled Branzino, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Chicken Orecchiette, and Hanger Steak Frites.

I typically order these dishes with a side of Truffle Mac & Cheese after starting with their Blue Crab Fritters. Don’t miss out on their Pumpkin Spice Espresso Tini.

Don’t forget to browse their drink list for creative cocktails, martinis, and wine. Be sure to try their signature Baklava Ice Cream Cake for dessert.

If you’re in the mood for pizza, consider trying their Margherita, Prosciutto, Chicken, or Veggie pie. You can also ask for a pie with a gluten-free crust.

They also offer the best Bucatini + Meatballs, Chicken Parm, and Ricotta Gnocchi in the neighborhood. Don’t forget to finish with their house-made donuts with honey, chocolate sauce, or strawberry jam.
