This restaurant serves seafood like salmon, scallops, shrimp, and delicious sushi rolls. You can find this fun eatery near the Bluewater Resort & Marina hotel.
So if you’re staying at this hotel, you’ll have some tasty seafood to try out nearby. You can also enjoy a day at the beach or visit the nearby Baptist church on a Sunday morning.
Skull Creek Boathouse has gained national recognition, winning local and national awards as well as showing up on the Food Network.
In this laidback eatery, you can enjoy a meal indoors or outdoors while watching great sunset views.
I really enjoyed their crab cakes with mashed potatoes while dining outdoors. You won’t regret visiting this eatery on your vacation.
A Lowcountry Backyard Restaurant
32 Palmetto Bay Rd Suite 4A, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
This restaurant is perfect for lunch, as it serves fish sandwiches, burgers, salads, crab cakes, and some simple sides of fruit, cornbread, red rice, and collard greens.
This restaurant is located near The Sea Pines Resort and the Time Again Gallery. If you’re done visiting the art gallery, then consider playing a game of golf at the Sea Pines Country Club.
Once you’ve had a full morning of fun activities, have some lunch or supper at the Lowcountry Backyard Restaurant.
This eatery has been published in Cooking With Paula Deen and is the Certificate Of Excellence Winner for Tripadvisor.
Here, my family and I loved munching on the Lowcountry Boil while listening to a band playing outdoors.
Charlie’s L’Etoile Verte

If you’re looking for French cuisine in an elegant, luxurious environment, then Charlie’s L’Etoile Verte is the restaurant for you.
When I visited Hilton Head Island, I found this eatery to be upscale and full of culture. It provides a charming French country feel and serves tasty seafood, filet mignon, and duck.
You can find this eatery nearby unique clothing stores, other restaurants, and Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort.
This restaurant hired Chef Josh Castillo as its top chef who has training from TLC and was previously promoted to Sous Chef at the Chechessee Creek Club in only one year.
My favorite dish here was the local Mahi with its mango vinaigrette along with caramel cake for dessert.
Palmetto Bay SunRise Cafe
86 Helmsman Way, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
If you’re looking for a great breakfast joint, the Palmetto Bay SunRise Cafe is a great place to visit. Here, I loved that I could get a simple English muffin or a three-egg omelet with grits and toast.
This cafe is near the beach, a place to charter fishing boats, and the Haig Point Club golf course. You can enjoy going out on a fishing boat and spending a day sunbathing at the beach.
You can then hop over the Palmetto Bay SunRise Cafe for some shrimp scampi, a burger, or grilled cheese.
One of my fave dishes was a special called the Sprout Mama Avocado Toast.
Hudson’s Seafood House On The Rocks
1 Hudson Rd, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926
Here, you can enjoy all types of seafood such as crabs, shrimp, oysters, Red Snapper, Cod, and more. This restaurant is right off the bay and has plenty of places nearby to charter a boat out for the day.
About 20 blocks away, you can find a nature preserve known as the Cypress reserve. After spending time in nature, you will love tasting the coconut shrimp or fried flounder sandwich during the lunch hour at Hudson’s Seafood House On The Rocks.
When I ordered a meal here, I enjoyed the casual atmosphere and gorgeous bay views. My fave dish here was the tasty Atlantic salmon with a baked potato.
The Jazz Corner
1000 William Hilton Pkwy, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
If you love listening to live Jazz and spending time in an upscale, trendy restaurant, then you’ll need to visit The Jazz Corner when vacationing in Hilton Head. The typical fare here is seafood along with filet mignon and tenderloin steaks.
This restaurant is near a shopping mall and other gorgeous boutiques. Other eateries surround The Jazz Corner, including an ice cream shop. Farther down, you can spend a day at the Chronic Golf indoor golf course.
I loved the world-class entertainment at this restaurant, along with the gourmet cuisine. My favorite food here was the filet mignon skewers and the Sesame Ahi Tuna.

I absolutely love a good burrito when I’m in the mood for Mexican, so it was a no-brainer to visit the laidback and casual Java Burrito to grab lunch on my vacation.
The Java Burrito is near the Shipyard Golf Club and close to a supermarket and resort for your overnight stay.
You will find that this restaurant is a short drive to Coligny Beach Park, as it’s only a couple of miles away. After spending the morning sunbathing at this beach, I visited Java Burrito for lunch. I ordered a tasty chicken burrito with guacamole and loved sipping on their cappuccino as well.

If you’ve been eating heavy meals lately, it might be time to check out Delisheeyo for a healthy and light dish.
This eatery is located near The Sea Pines Resort and the Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort. A large golf course is also found near the Delisheeyo restaurant.
This restaurant specializes in a three-day juice cleanse. In addition, you can choose salads, buddha bowls, or veggie wrap. If you want some dessert, there are multiple fat-free and low-calorie frozen yogurts to choose from.
When I visited Delisheeyo, my favorite meal was the Acai bowl of fruit, avocado, berries, seeds, and honey.
Ombra Cucina Italiana
1000 William Hilton Pkwy, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
For a classy dining experience, you’ll love the Italian food at Ombra Cucina Italiana. If you enjoy golfing, you can check out the nearby Shipyard Golf Club.
A few miles away, you’ll find a shopping center and a great beach where you can go swimming, kayaking, or sunbathing.
Here, Executive Chef Michael Cirafesi has received the Best Chef on Hilton Head award by Hilton Head Monthly Reader’s Choice Awards for seven years in a row.
When I visited this restaurant, I ordered the Schiacciata di Pollo al Mattone and loved the mouthwatering chicken and roasted potatoes. This eatery has a wide range of wines to choose from as well.

If fine dining in a trendy restaurant is your style, then the Sage Room could be the perfect eatery to visit.
The Sage Room is less than a mile away from Hilton Head Island Beach, so you can spend a day relaxing at the beach and dress up for a lovely evening out in this upscale restaurant.
If you have kids, you might want to visit The Sandbox Children’s Museum nearby and go for a hike in the Lowcountry Celebration Park. Afterward, have some dinner at the Sage Room.
When I came here, I loved the Chef’s Table in the center of the dining room, as I could watch the cooks show off all their culinary skills. My favorite dish at the Sage Room was the Chilean Sea Bass.
One Hot Mama’s

Do you love barbecue? Then you’ll definitely like the baby back ribs, brisket, or chicken wings at One Hot Mama’s eatery. This laidback restaurant is found near the University of South Carolina Beaufort.
Executive Chef and Managing Partner Orchid Paulmeier has won awards for her delicious barbecue meats.
When I came to try some food at One Hot Mama’s in Hilton Head, I ordered the award-winning drumsticks and mouthwatering hand-pulled pork with a side of green beans and almonds. I also loved the cozy booths and large televisions on the walls.

If you’re interested in an upscale and gourmet dining experience, then check out the delicious Italian food at Frankie Bones Restaurant and Lounge.
This fancy restaurant is near a gift shop and a Barnes & Noble bookstore. You can also check out the nearby Baptist church on a Sunday morning and have some lunch at Frankie Bones.
Here, you can enjoy award-winning steaks, seafood, and pasta dishes. When I visited Frankie Bones, I loved the Broccoli and Sausage Pasta while my loved one enjoyed crab cake dinner with mashed sweet potatoes. The Cranberry Margarita was also a great addition to my meal.

WiseGuys is a trendy steakhouse that you’ll enjoy visiting when vacationing on Hilton Head Island. This place has a city feel and is very modern.
This place is a few miles away from Burkes Beach, where you can go swimming or play a game of volleyball.
You can also visit a spa close to WiseGuys. Once you’re ready for dinner, this place is perfect for ordering some veal chops or a rack of lamb, as well as choosing an award-winning wine from a list of more than 200 bottles of wine. When I came here, my favorite dish was the sirloin steak with whipped potatoes.
3 Regency Pkwy, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
Would you love to eat some delicious meats smothered in sauce? If so, then you’ll want to check out Bullies BBQ when vacationing in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
This eatery is located right by several hotels, churches, and a market. Best of all, you can go to a nearby golf course to enjoy a game of golf before heading over to the Bullies BBQ restaurant.
Here, chefs use a large-capacity smoker to cook briskets for up to 14 hours. I really liked the pulled pork sandwich with french fries and sweet tea when I ate here. I had a great time talking to the friendly staff in the casual atmosphere.
Santa Fe Cafe
807 William Hilton Pkwy #700, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
Last but not least, the Santa Fe Cafe is a fun place to relax and eat some dinner. This restaurant serves Mexican cuisine, including burritos, shrimp tacos, and fajitas. Nearby, you can find several resorts and a marina along with a wellness center and other eateries.
You will enjoy having dinner in this relaxing and casual atmosphere, especially if you choose to eat at the Rooftop Cantina that comes with an oak fire and even live music. When I visited Santa Fe Cafe, I loved their fireplace on the Rooftop Cantina.
My favorite meal here was barbecue chicken tacos with a glass of Sangria.
